Company Info

Huasun's first factory in Xuancheng commenced operations in 2021. In 2022, work started on the second phase of the Xuancheng facility, which went into operation the same year. Construction of another facility began soon after in Dali, southwestern China. Also in 2022 (it was a busy year for the firm), yet another facility commenced construction in Xuancheng.

To cap the year off, work began on its Wuxi manufacturing base. Then in 2023, Huasun started on another cell and module production project in Hefei.

Anyway, you get the idea - Huasun has grown fast. As at the end of 2024, the company had 20GW of cell and module production capacity, but isn't stopping there - it plans to achieve 40GW capacity by the end of 2025.

In early 2025, the company reported it had exceeded 10 GW in cumulative HJT product shipments as at December 2024. This included 6 GW shipped in 2024, with more than 1 GW delivered just in December.

Huasun Solar Panels In Australia

Huasun focuses on HJT (heterojunction) solar technology. Heterojunction solar panels use a combination of crystalline silicon and thin-film technologies to achieve high efficiency and low temperature coefficient.

As at March 2025, dozens of Huasun solar panel models are listed as approved for use in Australia by the Clean Energy Council, in capacities ranging from 435W to 700W. But you won't see any of the bigger capacity panels on Australian rooftops - they are designed for solar farms.

Among Huasun rooftop PV products available here are Everest G12R modules featuring the company's 0 busbar (0BB) technology, which according to the firm reduces silver usage, boosts reliability and optimises power generation from multiple angles.

These rooftop panels are available as modules with half-cut cells (445W-470W), or as bifacial double-glass panels, also with half-cut cells (435W-460W). Featuring conversion efficiencies up to 23.3%, the panels weigh 21.8 kilograms and measure 1762 x 1134 x 30mm. Both types have a temperature coefficient of Pmax of -0.24%/°C, which means they should perform well in hot conditions.

Warranty Details

In Australia, Huasun solar panels are covered by a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty. The latter allows for a maximum 1% degradation in output in the first year and a maximum 0.3% annually in years 2 - 30. By the 30th year, the actual power output is guaranteed to be not be less than 90.3% of the nameplate rating.
