Bosch Solar Energy AG is a solar cell and wafer manufacturer, based in Germany, focused especially on the production of silicon-based photovoltaic solutions. The company is structured in different divisions, each of which is in charge of the production of different kinds of wafers, silicon, solar cells and modules.
Bosch Solar Wafers GmbH is specialized in the production of monocrystalline ingots and wafers, whereas SRS Silicon Recycling Services, Bosch Solar Energy’ssubsidiary, focuses in the recycling of silicon. This Bosch Solar Energy subsidiary is accountable for the developing of the following products: wafer and crystals with advanced twin structure, monocrystalline silicon ingots (both n- and p-type) and monocrystalline silicon wafers (both n- and p-type)
The Solar Cells division develops solar cells in the format 156 mm x 156 mm and this is the core business sector.
Finally, Bosch Solar Modules is in charge of the production and sale of solar modules. This division also incorporates Bosch Solar Thin Film GmbH, which is develops and produces thin-film solar modules.
