Company Info

Headquartered in Germany, Axitec solar panels destined for the Australian market are manufactured in China. However, the company is (very) keen to point out all research, development and engineering is carried out in Germany. Approximately 7 gigawatts of the company's panels have been installed world-wide as at late 2024. The company has production capacity of 2 GW annually.

Axitec Solar Panels In Australia

Prior to establishing the Australian subsidiary, Axitec solar panels were available here for quite some time - up until around mid-2017 when the Clean Energy Council delisted all Axitec modules due to "serious non-conformance" issues. But that's all water under the bridge, with the CEC subsequently and currently listing a dozen models as being approved for use here after those issues were sorted. Among Axitec modules suitable for rooftop applications:

TGBL/108WBA And 108BBA Series.

These glass/glass bifacial modules are available in 440 - 450W (front side) capacities. They use  N-Type TOPCon cells and module conversion efficiency is up to 22.52%. They have a -0.31 %/°C temperature coefficient, measure 1762 x 1134 x 30 mm and weigh 21.6 kg. The 108BBA variant is an all-black panel.

Warranty Information

Axitec's glass-glass photovoltaic modules have a 30 year product warranty. There's also a 30-year linear performance warranty, stipulating a minimum 87.4% of nameplate capacity at the end of year 30.

If you have these modules installed on your rooftop, leave a review of Axitec solar panels here and share your thoughts on their quality and performance with other Australians who may be considering the brand for their installation.

Axitec Solar Panel Reviews

Panels are great they even produce a small amount of power after the sun has gone down in the twilight. Could not be happier with them

I have asked the question to your team regarding this but did not get useful information apart from sticking to recommended chart. From I understand and read, Axitec AXI world premium seems to be pretty efficient 20.31% , German engineering and as per Solar Lab recommendation better than Longi Panels.
So far pairing it with my Fronius Primo 4.0, it is working 101.5%@4060W compared to my Fronius Symo 5.0 at 100.8% @5040W. I am quite pleased with it.
