Save the date – The Australian Solar Council presents the Solar Seminar Series!
The Australian Solar Council is an organisation dedicated to making sure Australia remains sustainable and harnesses solar power and energy.
Coming to a city near you in April, the seminars will primarily discuss "On Grid Battery Back Up," a field undergoing rapid development and with major implications for the solar energy industry in Australia. Power storage is becoming a big deal and it’s time for us all to pay attention.
Energy Storage in Australia, a report from the Clean Energy Council published on November 2 2012, predicts that the market for energy storage and associated technologies is going to rise sky high in the coming years.
So what else is happening at the Solar Seminar Series? Launched at the event will be The Power Storage Forum, which has a number of objectives. It will aim to promote development of power storage in the political arena, education, consultation and research.
The event will travel to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with exact dates still to be confirmed.
It’s time to think about the development of power storage seriously. It’s certainly the topic of the moment and it pays to be in the know.
