Solar heats up the city of Melbourne

22nd May 2013

Melbourne will be currently abuzz with solar enthusiasm as the annual Solar Conference and Exhibition gets underway in the city.

It seems the perfect time to be holding such a conference as Australia's reached the milestone of over one million rooftop solar panel systems and has a number of large-scale solar developments in the pipeline, as well as various general renewable energy and efficiency initiatives.

From May 23-24, the Australian Solar Council with international partner Australian PV Solar Energy Exhibition (AUPVSEE) will set the stage for some illuminating discussions about solar power.

Expert industry leaders will speak and some of the latest solar technologies will be demonstrated at the event.

It's predicted that over 2,000 local and international industry professionals will be taking part this year.

Benefits of attending the conference include access to expert advice, discussions on up-to-date trends, insightful speeches, ideas and insights, and celebrations of achievement within the industry.

Suppliers, businesses and customers will be able to connect so it is also a great networking opportunity.

"The Solar 2013 Exhibition will showcase several hundred products and components, suppliers, distributors, advisory groups, agencies and non-government organisations in addition to Fortune 500 companies involved in solar energy production," says the Solar 2013 website.
