Finn's Victron Energy Inverters Review & Verdict
Finn Peacock has been a Chartered Electrical Engineer since 1998, and is ex-CSIRO
I have very little experience with Victron - but here’s our in-house installer, Anthony’s opinion who had plenty of experience with them:
Victron offer a vast number of products for solar power, battery charging, inverters, and monitoring. Based on a range of small marine & mobile installations, they have products big enough to power entire resort hotels.
They are very capable, good quality, well respected, plus have comprehensive monitoring & remote control via a platform called VRM.
However, Victron no longer offer a hybrid inverter suitable for use in a grid-interactive system. And there is no Victron Australia phone number.
All technical support and warranty is handled through wholesalers.
Some technical advice can also be found from enthusiasts on a Victron-run web forum, but available downloads of legacy manuals and guides can be hit or miss.

MultiPlus II Inverter Charger
The Multiplus II is currently the only Victron inverter product approved by Australia's Clean Energy Council (but there are also a couple of SmartSolar models, which are charge controllers).
It was introduced in 2018 at Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition in Adelaide. The MultiPlus-II boasted a new-look enclosure, redesigned internal electronics and purpose-built compliance with standards for grid-ready operation, including the AS 4777 Australian Standard.
The MultiPlus-II is a 48-volt inverter-charger compatible with wide range of energy storage systems. The company says it's easier to install than earlier models and is also simple to retrofit to an existing grid-tied solar systems.
As with all Victron inverter-chargers, the MultiPlus-II is a transformer-based system, giving it capability to support surge power demands well above its continuous energy rating. This includes start-ups load of high-demand appliances such as air conditioners and pumps.
Available in 3000VA, 5000VA, 8000VA, 10000VA and 15000VA models, the MultiPlus-II has optional Internet-enabled remote monitoring, accessed through Victron's secure portal or approved third-party applications.

Victron Energy offers 5 years standard warranty on its inverter products, which is upgradable to 10 years for an additional fee.
