Solar King was a UK firm supplying heat pumps, solar thermal solutions, solar panels and inverters to Australia. While a UK company, Solar King's products were manufactured by Taiwan's Powercom (PCM), which was founded in 1997 and still around today. But it's a different story for Solar King, which reportedly went into liquidation in 2016/2017.
By the way, there's a solar installation business of the same name in Australia that has no association with the UK firm.
Solar King Inverters In Australia
The most commonly installed Solar King inverters in Australia were from the SLK range, in capacities ranging from 1.5kW to 5kW. These included a built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) function, residual current device and current transformer monitoring. But generally speaking, there wasn't anything particularly exciting or ground-breaking about the SLK series.
It looks like the SLK inverters were Clean Energy Council listed in 2011/12, but it's not clear when the listing expired - and if it expired or if the units were booted off.
Warranty Details
As the SLK inverters came with a 5-year product warranty and given when Solar King went bust, none of the units still installed today would be covered - and it wouldn't be worth forking out for a repair for one that has failed. It's time to start searching for a new solar inverter.

Second inverter ow showing relay failure November 2019. Contacted the installer (Solargain) to be told inverter needs replacing.
Why bother with 5 year warranty on the unit. Wouldn't buy a Solar King Inverter they are crap.
