Company Info

There's really not much more to say about MPP Solar, mainly because the company doesn't reveal much information about itself; aside from the usual puffery that doesn't mean much. Its news section seems more concerned about copycat products and scams than other in-house news.

MPP Solar Inverters

The company has a special focus on the off-grid market, but also manufactures split phase and hybrid inverters for grid connect use. But as none of their inverters are approved for grid-connection use in Australia as at December 2024 (and it's not clear when/if they were ever approved), it's pretty pointless writing about them.

Warranty Information

MPP Solar appear to have a lousy warranty - the standard international warranty on all products is 1 year, unless otherwise specified. And on a quick review of various inverter product pages, we didn't see any flags for longer warranties for those products.

A one-year product warranty for an inverter is just way too short. There should be at least 5 years and preferably 10.
