Company Info
Ingeteam was established in 1989 after the merger of Ingelectric S.A and Team S.A - which explains the name. Ingeteam says it has supplied more than 34 GW of its Ingecon Sun inverters since 1999 for residential, C&I and large-scale PV plant applications.
But given in May 2025 there are no residential Ingeteam solar inverters on the Clean Energy Council's approved products list for installation here, the firm appears to be focused on Australia's utility-scale PV scene these days. It claims market share in that segment of around 25%.
Ingeteam Residential Inverters In Australia
When available here, there were three main residential product lines - the Ingecon Sun 1Play TL M, Ingecon Sun 3Play and Ingecon Sun Storage 1Play.
The Ingecon Sun 1Play TL M were single-phase, dual MPPT, transformerless inverters of various capacities with up to 98% maximum efficiency, while the Ingecon Sun 3Play were 3-phase inverters available in capacities of 15kW and 33kW.
The Ingecon Sun Storage 1Play was a single phase 6 kW hybrid inverter compatible with a range of battery systems. With a surge capacity to 7.9kW, it offered four different operating modes and could be scaled through parallel connections.
The Sun 1Play, 3Play and Storage 1Play were accompanied by the firm's Ingecon Sun monitoring services.
Warranty Details
Ingeteam Ingecon inverters came with a standard 5-year warranty; and extended warranties for 10, 15, or 20-year coverage were also available.

Note that you sent me this message claiming that I had had the installation for 12 months. In fact it was 7½ months.
