Bosch is a well-known name in Australia. The company briefly dabbled in solar inverters but discontinued production in 2016.

Company Info
Bosch is a German multinational engineering and technology company that was founded by Robert Bosch in 1886 in Stuttgart. These days it is headquartered in Gerlingen, Baden-Württemberg.
While probably best known for its power tools and automobile parts, the company began producing solar gear in 2008. The firm started manufacturing inverters under Bosch Power Tec, which was founded in 2011 in Boeblingen, Germany; and had an Australian headquarters in Melbourne.
Bosch exited the crystalline silicon solar PV manufacturing in 2013, and thin film sector in 2015. Inverter production ceased in 2016.
Bosch Inverters In Australia
The Bosch BPT-S series was available in Australia, with capacities from 3kW to 4.6 kW. It had a single MPPT, a maximum efficiency of 97% and an input voltage range of 170 V to 750 V. An integrated data logger function recorded all data, which was available in graphical form in Bosch's e.Web monitoring portal.
Dimensions in mm (L x W x H) were 620 x 414 x 170 for the 3kW and 3.68 kW models and 620 x 530 x 180 for the 4kW and 4.6kW units. The smaller devices weighed 17 kilograms, and the larger, a rather hefty 25kg.
Even though the inverters were only available briefly, the BPT-S series won an IF Design Award in 2015, and a Red Dot award the same year.
Warranty Information
The BPT-S series solar inverters had a manufacturer's warranty of 5 years, which could be extended for an added fee.
It seems a bunch of Bosch solar inverters were sold to a major Australian solar installer, who is now out of business - so there could be a few Bosch solar inverters still installed across Australia, although they'd now be getting rather long in the tooth now and not worth repairing.

So I’ll be having a discussion with the ACCC & Fair Trading about that.
