Founded by Michael King, after many years of design and installation of residential and commercial solar systems. Mick established WDS and with his professional crew specialise in, grid connected solar PV systems, we look after you from sale and beyond, with supply and install of guaranteed, reputable, and reliable quality panels and inverters, to service, repairs and maintenance in the future.
 
We are based in MILES QLD and service the Western Downs region. 
 
We have an in-house installation team, who are proud of their workmanship (no sub-contractors), with an eye for detail and compliance with the CEC guidelines, electrical regulations and manufactures instructions to ensure your system is constructed compliant and SAFE, (Sadly, Mick and his crew have seen over the years, many big solar companies systems, faulty, failed, and even dangerous systems, that are not constructed to comply with standards it can void the warranty and even be unsafe). WDS guarantees all work to be compliant and safe.
 
Our in-house design team has many years of experience in design and engineering, residential and commercial solar systems. There are many factors to consider when designing to get a good quality, long lasting, well performing solar system. We aim to get the best solution to your usage needs and location, not just one size fits all, slapped up solar that the large retailers seem to push.

Absolutely love it!

Thank you to Solar Quotes for making the whole process so simple and hassle free. The three companies were in touch within a few days. All were very helpful, listened to what I needed and had the quotes back promptly. Western Downs did an onsite inspection and were very helpful in offering suggestions and answering questions.

The installation was done within a few weeks of the quote being accepted. All the work was completed within the time frame they gave. They took away all the rubbish and the job looks fantastic. Mick really takes pride in his work.

All the contact with Ergon was done by them and we were connected to the grid two weeks after the install was completed.
