We introduced solar to provide the community with a company they know and trust. We found that a lot of our existing clients were interested in solar but knew nothing about it. This left them open to “out of town” companies taking advantage of this. With poor installations, pushy sales people and unreliable cheap products..

27KW system delivered on time and performing to specification - exceptional service and expertise.
I contacted Adrian after a recommendation from a good friend. The quotation process was fast and easy. Adrian answered my many technical questions and provided excellent detailed advice. We ordered a 3 phase system comprising 27 KW of panels and a 20 KW inverter, with all the required wiring and switching for batteries at a later stage. There was a delay of a few weeks in the installation of the panels due to Tilston's high workload at the time, but that really suited us because we had to dig a 100 metre trench for the underground cable from the site of the panels to the grid connection point before we could connect the solar. Tilston's installers were very efficient and easy to deal with despite the difficulties of our rural site. The system was up and going in a few days and is performing very well, delivering 20.8 KV when necessary but it even delivers 8 KV on an overcast day, enough to run our 10 HP 3 phase bore pump. Our last power bill before going solar was $6,200 for 3 months. Now Origin is charging us about $5 per day on average, about $450 for 3 months - and it is currently winter. We are thinking about a battery and an EV now as we are putting about 40 KwH into the grid each day for 5 cents per KwH in June and we will probably double that in summer. We are very happy with the new solar system and the after-sales service from Tilstons,Inverter rating: 5/5

Great service from quote to installation
From quote to installation was easy as. Installation was quick, done over 2 days. Great job from Tilsons electrical in Orange NSW12 months later we asked Iain : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Wish I had gone for a bigger system to allow for the increase in bigger power supply chargers. Had cut our supply from $700.00 a quarter to $50.00 - $90.00 but the last reading up to $300.00 a quarter although it was a winter reading29 June 2023

Great all round experience. Installation team were great.
Tilstons installation team were ahead of schedule so they rang me to ask if they could come a day early and start the project. Very friendly team and as far as i can tell they did a great job. Very happy with the experience.
Great experience
The quoting experience was very professional and I did not feel pressured to go with them. Some of the other installers I found sign you up to their distribution email list and spam your inbox. This does not occur with Tilstons.The installation was very professional. Our 12.67Kw system was installed over 2 days. The installers were very tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day.
At the end of the installation the team set up my connection to the grid and also my phone to monitor the data from the inverter.
Overall it was a great experience and will definitely reach out to them in the future for a battery installation.
