The Solar Panel supplier, Solar REC are fair dinkum in their business with customers. The only negative experience was that it took more than 3 weeks, after the Solar panel system was installed, to wait for the "permission to connect" the Solar Panel system to the electrical grid. The electrician that needed to install the new electrical metering box was held back by lengthy delays for the approval and paper work, to get permission to install the new metering box and get it grid connected. This is not the fault of the Solar panel supplier, nor the electrician contracted to do the work, but the electrical company "Endeavour Energy" who were involved in sending the permission to the electrician to get the solar panel system grid connected. An application for connection of a generator form was sent electronically to Endeavour energy a couple of times, and each time I called them to follow up on the progress, I was advised they still have not received it, so the electrician was kept waiting week after week for this "permission to connect." There needs to be better communication between electrician contractors and "Endeavour Energy." So the processes involved installing Solar Panel systems goes ahead more smoothly.
