About

Solar Winds Australia may be a family-owned business, but it still very much has a national presence. It has been in operation since 1996 and specialises in the supply and installation of solar power systems.

Only the best quality components are used by the company - for example, the mounting system is constructed of an anodised aluminium framework and stainless steel. Inverters installed by the business are German-made. Solar Winds Australia also uses BCSE accredited electricians.

Quotes are available for a wide range of solar PV constructions, including residential, commercial, industrial and even schools.

The inverter is housed in a plastic box that looks kind of cheap and it does have a fan that operates.I have wondered how reliable this would be but it never seems to get too hot.

Only 2 of 3 SolarQuotes suppliers quoted. Got a 3.51 kW system installed in < 4 weeks from order by Solar Winds. Professional installers even checked existing PV system (NuEnergy) DC breaker and found in wired reverse polarity and fixed. I have recommended Solar Winds to family and friends.

As we live in the rural area we appreciated the fact that 'Solar Winds @ Kadina' organise everything that is required so we didn't have to orchestrate Etsa, Electrician etc to coincide with the installation which is very hard to do when you live in the country.
