Quality but delays
We were happy with the quote we received for our high quality system, however it took approx 7 months from paying a deposit on our quote to actual installation (regional NSW). To be fair this was late 2021/early 2022 with COVID possibly playing a part in this delay. The installers were friendly and efficient.Panel rating: 5/5

Great experience
Great allround experience. No issues with the system, producing up to 4.2Kw on a 6.5Kw system in the winter, better then I expected. Can't wait to see summer.Installers were great fellas. The kind that get the job done quick and become great mates.
$79 a fortnight repayment, which given the current grid prices I'm probably saving that much... event though it's partly that high because of renewables, oh the irony!

Johns Solar System
Sales & Quoting process was very good especially being a first time Solar purchaser.The installation was pain free. The installers arrived on the arranged date and on time. Neatly dressed and explained what they were about to do. when they finished they cleaned up all excess rubbish etc and left the house as if noboddy had been here. Very pleasant gentlemen to deal with and extremely courteous.
Customer service was fair. I believe when an appointment date and time is made that appointment within reasonable time should be kept.

Great installation
Sales quoting was very thorough, staff new the product I requested. Installation was quick and a very easy process, and customer service was very friendly and helpful12 October 2021
Disappointed
Solar Red promised great customer service and did not deliver. The entire process was poorly communicated and poorly executed. It cost me an additional $3 500 to have the installation corrected to be able to connect to my electricity supplier.10 January 2021
Pathetic
Quick to quote, Installation rough as gutsZERO customer service. They pestered me for payment 5 days before the installation was working. 35 Phone calls I got on a Friday afternoon after hours . The install was only completed on Wednesday. The best part of this poor service and install is: The installer punched a hole in my ceiling and tried to bodge it up. I launched an official complaint with them, The "bodged" patch was then sanded and just left again. This is now 4 weeks and my ceiling is still not repaired. If they were just as persistent to fix the damage they did as to chase money before the job is complete would have made the Solar install more pleasant.
I don't recommend Solar Red to any body. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for your Solar needs any body can be more professional than Solar Red

Lovely service received
Sales guy Austin was very informative and friendly. All our concerns cleared and installers were polite and friendly and installation went well. Have been recommended from family members and Solar Red definitely did not disappoint with their service.21 July 2020
Very smooth install.
Installation went very smoothly & they cleaned up after finishing. Supervisor Steve was very professional and knowledgable. Explained to me how the system worked very clearly. Hubby was a bit concerned with the position of the solar panels, thinking they would not get enough sun but after checking the daily output, he was happy. Good follow up with install. Prompt response with best rates
Was shopping around for a quality solar system for our new house and came across these guys, was a bit hesitant and having 2nd thoughts to start with after reading some reviews here. However, their rates are reasonably cheaper than most providers but the prompt response by sales team and customer service provided to me from sales to on-site installation was tremendous! Highly recommended to anyone shopping for a great bargain with peace of mind.Panel rating: 5/5

Great customer service
I was given a very competitive quote and had been given this company's name by recommendation so had great expectations.They did not dissapoint.
The guy that came out to do the install, Steve I think his name was, went above and beyond what was expected. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
The panels look great and blend well with my roof.

Happy Fella
Sale process was clear with what I wanted to aim for. Installation process was fantastic and the system was up and running over 2 days. Was always in contact with the team and it couldn’t have been easier for me to get solar. I have recommended to my family and friends. A+04 June 2020

I was quoted by the sales team last week and surprisingly they did beat the price I was offered by other companies. The installation process was smooth and easy, the team arrived on time, providing first class customer service. Wham bam thank you mam
System installed without them completing approval process. This ended up taking 5 attempts by them over 6 months. Essential Energy will not visit my property to fix volt import issues until solar Red fit a voltage output limiter. So 14 mths after installation I have a white elephant on the roof. They don’t return ph calls. Have dealt with 4 different people. Beware19 May 2020

Rip off
Paid deposit on August 1st, they give install dates but nothing happens. Still waiting. Would not recommend Solar Red they don't reply to emails, rarely reply to calls. When they do answer calls they say I will look into it and get back to you, but it doesn't happen. Almost seven weeks since deposit paid and still nothing. I have asked for my deposit to be returned but no action there either.8 months later we asked Edmund: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Solar Red Installed the system without approval from essential energy. Had to make complaint to fair trading to get some action. Still waiting for solar meter install so system can be turned on. Solar Red are very incompetent and I give them a zero rating. Since you recommended them You get the same rating. I would not recommend Solar Red or your company to anyone.14 May 2020
After waiting some time for installation, I was impressed with the efficiency of the installation team. Scampering over my roof this way and that, never faltering whilst seemingly getting the job done
Polite and post installation very helpful in getting the technical aspects of the job sorted in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.Followed up the meter upgrade and we’re now just waiting for the electricity supplier to do the rest.

My first contact with Solar Red was their sales guy Ali. He went through everything with me , then made the whole process very easy. I was amazed how fast they installed my solar system. I would definitely recommend Solar Red.08 May 2020

WORST service & FAKE company
From my experience, this whole operation seems fraudulent, FAKE. I have been struggling to get a refund for deposit paid for several months now and cant get hold of any officials from Solar Red except via 1800 449 733 which is answered in India. Emails are not replied and a lot of false promises from sales rep on the 1800 number. After investigation I found out that their business address is FAKE as well upon finding a totally unrelated Insurance Company operating from the nominated Bella Vista premises.24 March 2020

Very poor customer service
Have asked repeatedly for an Electrician to check the 6.6kw underperforming system that Solar Red had installed in April 2019, but have been ignored for the last 2 months.I ended up having to contact an independent Solar Electrician to check over the system at a cost of $275 that had been installed by Solar Red. It took him no more than 5 mins to tell me that the system was only running at half the capacity. On further investigation he also found that only 11 out of the 22 panels were not connected at all! Needless to say the system is now functioning at full capacity.
After multiple repeated calls to Solar red and several empty promises I had to fix the problem myself. Solar red will take your money then offer no after care service whatsoever. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a company who care more about customer satisfaction over MONEY.

Happy with installation after a long wait. L.p.0ll
Quoting process was very good, and informative.Installation team were punctual, friendly and did an excellent job.
Customer service was good until the deposit was paid. Communication was very poor with calls and emails not returned. Installation finally occurred eight weeks after paying deposit. Installation team were excellent, efficient and timely.

Pretty good in general but as they were quoting off my description of my roof plus google maps they way overestimated how many panels we could install. I agreed on a 6.6kw system, 22 x 300w panels. When the installers turned up they said they could only fit 12!
The install job was ok but they were definitely in a hurry, not keen to run cables through wall to meter box. Looks a bit messy with lots of conduit on my front porch.

Good communication from salesperson before and during sale, but definitely lacking after the sale. Only had single point of contact and response time dropped after sale completed.

Very Happy
Red Solar was very thorough in explaining how solar works and the savings calculated were very conservative. System was installed efficiently and all pre and post install paperwork was handled by them. Highly recommend06 June 2019

We just had our system go fully operational yesterday and we can't be more happy with the experience we had with Solar Red. Their estimation/bidding process was they most thorough and personable. Once we decided to move forward with them, the entire process was stress-free. Solar Red's project manager handled all the scheduling, logistics, and paperwork. Installation went without a hitch and I honestly believe the panels make my house look better. Thanks Solar Red for the great work!

I found that the whole team from Solar Red were really focused on providing us with the best outcome during our solar system purchase. They provided us with the information we asked for in a prompt and very friendly manner. Solar Red encouraged us to speak to customers they had installed systems for in our area which we did, the recommendations we received from these customers were very reassuring. Install date was within the timeframe promised. The install team were very patient and informative when we discussing the best placement for the system. Our system is performing exactly as expected. We are very happy Solar Red customers.

Your rep organised the quote on the phone told me all I needed to know some time later the installers turned up at my house wasnt told about their arrival. They were very efficient the install was done in a few hours happy with their work the grid connected finally all seems to be working ok, thank you very much.
