We are Perth's Solar Professionals, delivering quality solar installations for residential and commercial projects. We have been in the business for 5 years. The owners are electrical contractors with combined 40 years experience in the electrical industry.
The team at Solar 2020 are certified electrical contractors. We have experience in safely installing solar energy systems for homes & businesses. We are accredited with the Clean Energy Council of Australia and demonstrate competence in design/installation of solar power systems.
Our focus is on installing high quality solar energy systems using reputable PV modules and inverters from the world’s top solar manufacturers. We specialize in Residential and Commercial solar PV installations and Solar Hot Water. Experience from numerous solar installations has taught us the importance of using quality tried & tested PV modules can have a significant impact on the efficiency of your solar energy system. To deliver on our promise of quality solar energy solutions we only use the highest quality component.
We have installed over 2MW of residential solar power and over 300KW of Commercial solar power. We provide our services up to 500 km from the Perth Metro region.

Multiple failures in communication and submission of applications. Would not recommend them, we gave up eventually.
Multiple problems with these guys, most of it due to them being busy I’m guessing but after multiple failures by them to submit paperwork and applications we eventually gave up emailing them. I hope their workmanship is better than their ability to reply to emails and click the send button. Much time wasted for no result. We will happily pay more elsewhere than waste any more time with them.Inverter rating: 4/5

Great to deal with
John and Alan are the real deal - no BS, no pressure, just an appropriate system for a fair price installed very professionally. Looking forward to seeing how it performs over the year.04 February 2020
not installed as yet
most Solar suppliers wanted to sell me what they preferred and not what I wanted. Some even ignored my request for quotes on quality systems and just quoted on their preferred product even if it was 2nd or 3rd rate.16 January 2020

Simply the best installation.
With Solar2020 all steps were so easy .. they were friendly and responsive .. the installation was quick and clean. They left some of the Meter change and final connection to the grid with me which was ok. Great company.18 October 2019

Great install.
I enquired over email about a 5kw fronius inverter with 6.6kw of panel with Solar2020 and Alan got back to me that night with a quote for several options. This suited me as i didn't want to deal with a solar company salesman and from research i knew a rough cost.Synergy did their thing in 3 or 4 days, Alan and John arrived on time, were friendly, communicated everythin, did a great install and left no mess.
It couldn't have gone any better or easier.

Great guys, a great system and a great price

All dealings were by email but that suited me and all information was thorough, accurate and honest. No BS sales tactics or hassle, just a straight up honest quote for an LG / Fronius system.All steps were clearly laid out. On the day they were on time and did a very tidy, efficient job. I'm very happy with the outcome.
Fabulous experience all round.

Yes, excellent performance as estimated by the installer Solar2020, who overall did a fantastic setup.

I did a lot of research in to both inverter and panel options, where build quality, warranty and manufacturer stability were important to me. Finding an installer was easy there after, I contacted LG and they pointed me towards Solar2020 as they are an accredited LG installers which no doubt will count when it comes to possible warranty claims.
In saying that whilst doing my research I got saveral other quotes for other systems as well as Fronius / LG. I found that most installers will install what ever you want, but they will ‘encourage’ you to buy what they have stacked in their warehouse at the time and if you want anything different, they aren’t competitive on price.
Solar2020 don’t do the whole sales rep drill, they focus on high quality hardware and do an equally quality job putting the system together
I highly recommend Solar2020 as an installer

Easy company to deal with - responded to questions, no payment required until install completed. Came back readily after install/payment stage to readjust a setting on the inverter8 months later we asked Edward: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Solar2020 provided the best value for money and weren’t pushy at all. They have very quick response times and answered all our questions. On the day of installation, they arrived on time and when they identified a potential issue they explained it very well including possible solution options. Luckily, there wasn’t an issue at the end as they figured out another way of doing it to satisfy our requirement.
Thanks for going above and beyond, Alan & John – we highly appreciate it :-)
If you want high quality products for a good price and sales people who actually know the installation process as they also installing solar systems by themselves, then Alan and John are your guys!

one failed to respond (or did not leave a message)
One pushed one product only although later offered alternatives when i resisted. Eventually stopped answering my emails.
The final company was fine, generally responsive and paid two visits to my house to assist. However they generally pushed cheaper brands and i was not convinced of the value for money so i put the process on hold. I have since started the process again with a new installer who was extremely thorough. Panels yet to be installed.

-One was very pushy and were trying the hard sales tactics and kept trying for us to sign a contract even when we said we needed to do more research!
-Another made an appointment to visit us to quote on the job, so we made sure we were both home, we waited for over 1/2 hour before calling him as he was late, he then told us he never had the appointment. even though we had a text confirmation.
-The final one felt a bit amataturish, they gave us a general quote but we didn't feel confident with them.

Overall a top company every thing explained even had samples of the product, which no one else had, no sales pressure, really pleased with solar 2020.They are dearer than lots of other companies but it is an LG system.
9 months later we asked Terry: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The whole system has performed without a glitch,so far,the company that quoted/installed were first class,would recommend them to anyone12 December 2016
I am very happy with the quality of workmanship and no BS attitude. They mainly supply only good quality panels and inverter. LG and Fronius.
They were never pushy at all, it’s like you tell them what you want and they come and do it and will provide suggestions if you are unsure about anything.
They helped with the setup of the smart meter and everything was working perfect when they left. I would recommended them to anyone.

Infinite Energy very good, nearly did deal with them but in the end Solar 2020 just beat them by offering similar quality at a better price

Alan & John were very prompt with their quote (within 24 hours), and work completed successfully and on time. It's clear they're very experienced in their work, and it was great to deal directly with both the owners (and the workers!) of the company.Inverter rating: 5/5
