Wonderful System and Installation

Rang on 22nd January 2020 to have a quote done on replacing an old solar hot water system on the roof with a Solahart system. I was advised that Craig would be attending the next day (wow) at 8am to give me a quote. Spot on 8am, Craig arrived and had a look at the existing old set up and told me that included in the quote would be taking away the old solar system as well as the electric hot water system that had just died and they could actually do the installation that day! Unfortunately I could not do that but later rang to arrange a suitable installation date. Installation date for the Australian made system was 30th January 2020. The Solahart team arrived on time and were friendly and proffessional. Nothing was a problem, no questions I had on the day went unanswered and after cleaning up, the team was finished in the timeframe given to me. The whole experience was just brilliant from start to finish and I would not hesitate to recommend Sola hart to anyone interested.

Prompt and Efficient Service

This review is for a Solahart hot water system. We found our second system since the early 1980s was leaking. After a prompt assessment and quote, we had a new system efficiently installed within four days. There were no hitches, all done politely and we have a better service than we had before.

The solar quotes online quote generation options weren't the best as the suppliers who responded didn't meet our requirements. For example our roof consists of tile and corrugated iron..there was no option to identify this. Some suppliers don't install on terracotta tiles.

We decided a year ago to have a Solahart hot water system installed, as we had previously had Solahart on two houses prior to this one. What a mistake. I have to run the booster switch for four out of seven days, minimum, each week at present (2014 winter) and Solahart Gold Coast have told me that this is the way it was intended to operate. The system is still under warranty and when installed just prior to last winter, was so hot, even during 2013 winter, we had to run cold to be able to shower safely. Now, however, we can't use cold water at all to shower, unless we have the booster on constantly, yet Solahart Gold Coast tell us that this is normal. savings on water heating....I can't see it! I'll never recommend Solahart again at this rate.

Hi David, sorry to hear you had problems back in 2013. Solahart Gold Coast had a change of owner in 2014, but the warranties are honoured by Solahart, so if you are still experiencing any issues, please get in touch.
