Fantastic experience from quote to installation and customer service.
The sales quoting process was professional and smooth, detailed with all questions answered. A discovery call was held where questions were asked to me to determine what was required for best fit of my needs. A follow-up Solar presentation was scheduled to present the proposal. All questions I asked were answered and explained.The installation was polite and professional. The team arrived on time. The team unloaded and organized the equipment to be installed. They worked all day to install the panels, railings, cabling, invertor, battery, etc. The next business day, the electrician and other team members arrived. The electrician connected all the cabling to the battery, inverter, meter to configured the systems and monitoring. Grid connections were running.
Customer Service was excellent and followed up to keep me informed of any outstanding items, ensuring the items were completed. Team lead returned to check the system and set up monitoring on my phone.
Documents sent to electricity supplied to notify solar was installed. Electricity supplier has now installed the solar meter.

Professional and efficient
Select Electrical and Solar Solutions has been very professional from the time of providing a quotation to the end of installation. The sales person provided lots of factual information and allowed me to make my own decisions. The installation went very well with the team working non-stop to get the job done efficiently. I noticed they all wore harnesses and were well equipped. They were well presented and kept me informed throughout. They set up the grid connection and showed me how to use the App once it was downloaded. They tidied up very nicely after the work was done. I would have to recommend this group of hard-working people.I don't know much about the quality of the system and would only be able to comment after some time of using it and seeing results.

Efficient installation and reliable
Select Electrical/Solar adviser Matt was very helpful and advise me on best solar system for my home.Quote was in a similar price range to other solar company's but I chose Select E.S because the quality and larger 'Trina Vertexs' panels.
Installation was efficient and completed in around 7 hours, Main electricians on site, well advised me on the installing process, the boys were polite. On finishing up the site was clean and tidy.

Took our deposit and have not been contactable since.
Avoid this company. They came out to provide a "free quote", which we agreed to, paid a deposit and then heard nothing for 3 weeks. When my husband followed up they advised they were unable to provide the solution quoted due to supply issues and would provide an amended quote for a different system by that afternoon. We did not receive this. After weeks of calling, leaving voicemails, sending emails all of which went unanswered we asked for a refund of our deposit (given they could not provide the quoted solution, financial position and dissatisfaction with the customer service post us handing over money). We were then advised they do not provide refunds (?) despite the fact that in the two months since we paid the deposit they have not provided the solution quoted, an amended quote or even had the curtesy to return our phone calls. Needless to say they will be being taken to small claims court. Happy to provide all corresponding evidence of how many emails and phone calls have been made to prove how horrible this experience has been.02 April 2021
Great price, but lacking workmanship
The price was great. For the quality of that equipment, the price was more than competitive.However, workmanship was left wanting. Off cuts, rubbish and scraps were left all over our property including in the roof space, gutters and metal cable ties on our lawn for me to find with the mower.
An alleged one day job took 2 and a half and I’m still not to sure why. And the site foreman didn’t communicate where they were up to each day.

Explained my options so I could choose the best for me!
Customer service was great, the salesman Chris explained how it all works without trying to be shonky and after my research through SolarQuotes I was able to make an informed and educated decision!
Very professional
I was very happy with the way the sales/quoting process went. I was provided with the right amount of factual information relevant to my circumstances. There were several plans suggested and I was given time to make my decision without any pressure.The team who worked on the installation arrived on time and immediately started setting up for the job. They were all friendly and polite, and happy to answer my questions. I was relieved to see that they were all wearing harnesses so I did not have to worry about potential accidents. No tiles were broken during the installation.
The inverter was set up in my garage very efficiently and a team member helped me to download and use the monitoring App. The team cleaned up well after the job.
