Replacement Solar System

Very polite and informative discussion about the type and size of system making sure that anoint of panels to roof to system was correct. The installing was conducting around our roof being painted so they were quite flexible. The team were efficient and cleaned up as they went. We lucked in with some great discounts at the time too.

Great service! Quality installation. Very happy with the outcome!

The whole process was easy with sae! Very glad I went through them. Ross was easy to deal with. Didn’t try to oversell anything and let me make the decisions myself on what I wanted. Ended up going a 13.2kw system to future proof the house as kids grow and life goes on.

Amazing service

The quoting process was very open and transparent.
Installation went smoothly and the team was very polite, tidy and friendly.
At the end of the installation they took me through the App, gave me great advice for choosing a supplier and they’ve been very open to communication since.

Excellent Service

Mark from sales was easy to deal with and very pleasant. He answered our queries on the quote and provided any additional information we required promptly. He also ensured our quote was adjusted to allow for any additional discounts offered.
The installers (Stefan, Jake and Mitchell) were very polite and cleaned up the site well. The installation was completed in the previously advised 2 days. It was easy to discuss any issues with Stefan.
Stefan provided a thorough handover after installation was completed.

I almost didn’t go with SAE. But Luke was so informative and explained everything to me clearly. The cheapest is not always the best, and I understood why after a few conversations with him.

First Time Solar System

We had a great experience working with SAE Group. This was our first system, therefore an on-site visit was important. All enquiries addressed, with extra advice offered. We asked more questions during the quotation process, and each time we got a positive response.

For a Friday install, installers were scheduled. They were punctual in their arrival and worked all day. Very accommodating and fuss-free in their response to any queries. We were notified that one panel had a crack after the service was finished. They pledged to return early on Monday morning to make replacements. They followed instructions and completed this.

Even during the EWR process, they maintained constant communication with us and are a competent company. Even our son has been recommended to them.

Very satisfied with installation and pre-instal consultation.

Cannot fault the pre-installation consultation nor the actual instal. Very neat, professional and friendly. Not much explanation as to its workings but more importantly our home computer info. Perhaps this could have been more informative but I suppose I should make some allowance for the installers being electricians and not so 'consumer oriented'. Perhaps a subsequent follow-up explanatory meet by a non-technical person could be considered.

SAE are very professional

Mark was very helpful, honest and transparent right from the beginning. I had many questions to ask him and he hung in there with me while I sought more quotes. Installation was very professional and I didn’t mind these very polite, competent and articulate tradies roaming around my home. Highly recommend SAE.

Easy and neat installation. Great communication.

After a lot of research we chose SAE. The communication was excellent. The installation was done neatly and the installers were polite and friendly and explained everything well.
SAE helped arrange the green loan and we were happy with the quotes.

Steer Clear of SAE

Sales representative was very helpful and provided good advice. That’s where SAEs service ended. The installers (who we were led to believe were employees but actually independent sub contractors) were rubbish. They didn’t turn up on the day they were meant to (and actually told us they could t come as 2 guys had hangovers). They did the installation and then we were without hot water for 3 days. They actually had to get other local electricians to remedy what they had done to fix the hot water service. After a month Ergon/ Energex came out to remove an unused meter from the box and were shocked at the standard of work and issued them a major safety breach defect. Our advice is go with the budget solar companies as you get the same level of service for the same items!

My upgrade to battery

I have previously bought panels and inverter from SAE.
I knew how easy they made it for me so when I wanted to learn more about batteries I was happy to approach them for good advice. I now have my new battery and am more than pleased as on I'm solar now all day as well as while I'm awake at night....too good!

Very competent and reliable installation

The whole process was by competent/ professional people who kept me informed and answered all of the questions that I asked and did not make me feel inadequate as a person. The installation team were punctual/tidy/knowledgable/and very clear with all the instructions. They were polite at all times and did not create a fuss although the weather was not so good.

No fuss competent installation

The whole quote and installation process was quick and easy. The new battery is very impressive, and the existing solar (also installed by SAE) is even managing to power the house in overcast conditions.

Great job well done.

The experience with SAE Group has been seamless from the start. Mark Reynolds was accomodating with options in the sales process and we never felt pressured to make a decision. The installation team of Tim, Sam and Cheylin had to deal with a bit of wet weather but they got the job done in great time and left everything clean and tidy.

Great installation of solar system and battery.

We had panels put on a couple of years ago and decided we need a battery as well. SAE was great. Gave us options to best suit our situation and talked us through the whole process. Both installations were done in a professional manner and the guys tidied up after the job was done and showed us how the system and applications worked. Would highly recommended.

Extremely happy customer

A journey that started during COVID 19 in August 2020, 2 different builders, global supply chain issues and price rises, all the challenges of building in the 2020’s!

The SAE Group team were excellent all around. From the start of the sales process, design, installation and final commissioning of our off-grid system has been fantastic.

Easy and speedy install

The quote process was fantastic. Installation team turned up early, very polite and left the site clean. We haven't had too much contact with customer service yet. They were very helpful during the set up though.

The stand out for us, was the quote process. We don't have the best suited roof for solar installation. If you're building a house, pay attention to the roof, make it two flat sides, nothing else. Ours is a jigsaw puzzle, which made panel locations tricky. We could have gone with a bigger system, if the roof was suited for it. However, Mark was very helpful walking us through everything. We opted for a more expensive panel, it was within our budget to do so. Though a cheaper option was provided by Mark, when requested. All our questions were answer quickly. Its only been a few weeks since our install, but there has been no issues.

Solar purchase

We were so happy with the service we received from SAE. When Ross come out to quote he was helpful & nothing was too much trouble. We received quotes on different sizes so we were a bit painful.
When we accepted our quote we were told a date for installation. The guys on the job were very prompt, they carried out the work professionally & of the highest standard.
They were also helpful explaining the connection on our computer & how to view. Overall we could not have been happier with our experience. 10 out of 10 guys.
I must also add we had SAE install our first solar panels 12 yeas ago.
