New solar battery

I ordered a new Neovolt 10.1kW battery from SAE for my existing solar system. It seems to be the cheapest available and it turned out mine was the first one installed by SAE in SE Qld. So far it is doing everything it should and the app is very helpful to monitor what is going on. I purchased a complete solar system from SAE at my previous home and was happy with the company and the product then. Once again the service was excellent from my initial enquiry through to installation and follow up from them to see that everything was working properly. They also arranged the subsequent update of my meter with Energex and my electricity retailer which has since been completed.

Fantastic installer

The young gentleman had to come out twice to finish installing my panels as it was raining on the 2nd day in the last half hour of installation it just bucketed down on him but he finished the job

This is the third house we have used SAE solar

Happy Customers

As the title says we are happy customers, are really pleased we decided to install a 6.6kw system on our home & that we selected SAE Group to complete the project for us. SAE Group professional & friendly on every level. System has produced 8kWh so far today & is currently producing 4.6kwhrs.

On time install despite weather

Very surprised that the agreed install date was as planned after the appalling weather in the lead up weeks.
Install was neat on time and the install team was friendly informative & explained use of system
From the quote (some companies could not be bothered turning up only using google earth) to the installation to the price could not recommend SAE group highly enough

LOTS OF GRATITUDE....

Thank you for removing my anxiety. Did we choose the right one? did we pay too much?
Will it be difficult to install, due to the pitch of the roof? Will they remove the old one and not leave holes for leakage to occur? Will we end up saving money ?
All of these went through our minds and well it IS NOW clear, we did well.

We chose the right one after advice from Tyson. No we discovered what we paid was just about right.
The installation was so efficient and smooth. They took everything away and there was nothing to worry about leakage, because since the last week a short rain shower indicated everything was as it should be.
Will we end up saving money is still pending until I receive my bills and review it against what was.
But going by my neighbours and friends it will be beneficial.

The service provided by Mr. Arm and his colleagues was professional and they cleaned up everything. Spend time to educate me on the App and how to get the best from my solar set up.
All in all a very satisfying job and a very happy family.

A very good experience.

Best price of 3 quotes and the only one to come out to home which was fortunate because the battery situation was not straight forward. The installers were very knowledgeable and communicative. Very happy with the overall experience.

Prompt and Professional

As a Landlord I wanted a value for money system within a budget. On the third quote they met my expectation and within days the system was installed in a very professional manner. Third party payment system was a little frustrating but got there in the end.
They organised everything re the grid installation and tutored the tenant on the technicalities of using the system to get the most benefit.
Have another tenanted property and will probably use SAE for solar installation when ready to do so.

EV Charger Install

SAE were a breeze to deal with and the only company who were able to supply exactly what I was looking for in an EV charger out of the 3 quotes I obtained. They were also the cheapest by quite a large margin which was an extra bonus. Mike did a fantastic job with the installation which was a little more difficult as the firmware on our inverter hadn't been updated for several years. Very happy customer.

Very Happy

We obtained 4 quotes, 3 independently of SolarQuotes & the quote from SAE Group as recommended by SolarQuotes.
This was important as we are new to solar. SAE Group provide a site visit as part of their quote system & while their quote wasn't the cheapest, they quoted good quality equipment & prompt service. Our system has been in operation for 3 weeks now & we are more than happy with the system & service we have received. The installers were on time, friendly & helpful.

Fantastic

Ross came out gave a quote explained everything so I understood it. When the guys came out to do the installation it was raining very hard so they did the electrical side. They had to come out a second time to install panels on the roof everything was going great and in the last half hour it started bucketing down, he completed the job had a great sense of humour about it and I am satisfied with it.

Great advice choosing system, good communication during install and great after install service

I had a great experience with Tyson who produced a really competitive quote and helped me design a system that was suitable for my house and energy needs. We were able to choose a system that supported adequate solar production and battery storage whilst integrating with other Tesla branded items in the house. Tyson helped us navigate the relevant rebates and provided us sound advice ensuring we were getting the best quality system for the best price.
SAE quote came in significantly lower than other competitors
We chose SAE because they do so many in our area and could provide really good advice on the relevant panels living so close to the ocean. I also feel more comfortable with the post install sales and support given there are so active in our area.
Tyson maintain great communication between signing up and the install date
The install was really smooth and the team very professional and thorough.
We had a small hiccup post install with the Tesla Gateway requiring a firmware update.
The whole team at SAE felt available to us and the issue was resolved within 24 hours and I felt comfortable and supported working through that
We are left with a fantastic system that supports our house and car charging needs with almost no reliance on the grid - it’s gonna save us thousands a year

Although there is cheaper out there, S,A,E were very professional, quick and honest.

Happy so far

The quoting process was quick. The salesperson was prompt in his communication. He made the effort to come and chat in person. He also explained how to avoid shading (two-storey house next door and trees on the back) and maximise production

The installation was smooth. The senior installation person seemed knowledgeable and explained things post installation clearly. The grid connection was organised automatically and it was a quick process.

Very professional service

I ordered a battery for my existing solar system. I received professional and courteous assistance to ensure the battery was compatible and to select the most appropriate location for the installation. The installers turned up on time, did a very professional installation, explained thoroughly how the app worked and how to manage the system, and left no mess. Replacement Solar System

Very polite and informative discussion about the type and size of system making sure that anoint of panels to roof to system was correct. The installing was conducting around our roof being painted so they were quite flexible. The team were efficient and cleaned up as they went. We lucked in with some great discounts at the time too.

Great service! Quality installation. Very happy with the outcome!

The whole process was easy with sae! Very glad I went through them. Ross was easy to deal with. Didn’t try to oversell anything and let me make the decisions myself on what I wanted. Ended up going a 13.2kw system to future proof the house as kids grow and life goes on.

Mark from sales was easy to deal with and very pleasant. He answered our queries on the quote and provided any additional information we required promptly. He also ensured our quote was adjusted to allow for any additional discounts offered.
The installers (Stefan, Jake and Mitchell) were very polite and cleaned up the site well. The installation was completed in the previously advised 2 days. It was easy to discuss any issues with Stefan.

First Time Solar System

We had a great experience working with SAE Group. This was our first system, therefore an on-site visit was important. All enquiries addressed, with extra advice offered. We asked more questions during the quotation process, and each time we got a positive response.

For a Friday install, installers were scheduled. They were punctual in their arrival and worked all day. Very accommodating and fuss-free in their response to any queries. We were notified that one panel had a crack after the service was finished. They pledged to return early on Monday morning to make replacements. They followed instructions and completed this.

Even during the EWR process, they maintained constant communication with us and are a competent company. Even our son has been recommended to them.

The whole process from start to finish was FANTASTIC !
We were kept updated the whole way through, from the quoting which was very informative to the installation team who were very punctual, polite and tidy !!

Very satisfied with installation and pre-instal consultation.

Cannot fault the pre-installation consultation nor the actual instal. Very neat, professional and friendly. Not much explanation as to its workings but more importantly our home computer info. Perhaps this could have been more informative but I suppose I should make some allowance for the installers being electricians and not so 'consumer oriented'. Perhaps a subsequent follow-up explanatory meet by a non-technical person could be considered.

SAE are very professional

Mark was very helpful, honest and transparent right from the beginning. I had many questions to ask him and he hung in there with me while I sought more quotes. Installation was very professional and I didn’t mind these very polite, competent and articulate tradies roaming around my home. Highly recommend SAE.

Easy and neat installation. Great communication.

After a lot of research we chose SAE. The communication was excellent. The installation was done neatly and the installers were polite and friendly and explained everything well.
SAE helped arrange the green loan and we were happy with the quotes.

Steer Clear of SAE

Sales representative was very helpful and provided good advice. That’s where SAEs service ended. The installers (who we were led to believe were employees but actually independent sub contractors) were rubbish. They didn’t turn up on the day they were meant to (and actually told us they could t come as 2 guys had hangovers). They did the installation and then we were without hot water for 3 days. They actually had to get other local electricians to remedy what they had done to fix the hot water service. After a month Ergon/ Energex came out to remove an unused meter from the box and were shocked at the standard of work and issued them a major safety breach defect. Our advice is go with the budget solar companies as you get the same level of service for the same items!

My upgrade to battery

I have previously bought panels and inverter from SAE.
I knew how easy they made it for me so when I wanted to learn more about batteries I was happy to approach them for good advice. I now have my new battery and am more than pleased as on I'm solar now all day as well as while I'm awake at night....too good!

Summer Ready

The installation went well. Luke in sales and the two blokes who installed our solar system (sorry, I forgot their names) were amazing. I can now turn on my aircon on hot, sunny days guilt-free. :)

SAE were extremely helpful and understanding during a difficult time for me.

During a difficult time Emily was very understanding keeping me up to date with her open communication line. Not only did they go above and beyond but were very supportive of my circumstances. Would definitely recommend them again.
