The installation went smoothly. The installers communicated well. It's a fantastic investment and it works well.
The quoting process was easy & fast.The installation went smoothly. The installers were highly motivated and friendly. They left my place tidy. The installation was done in 3 steps and needed around 10 days.
The installer helped me with installing the app on my mobile phone.

Great people and company to deal with
From initial contact through to installation customer service was paramount. Salesman gave the best advise and answered all my questions that you helped me ask...Installation waiting time was at first lengthy but gave me the option to get it earlier if the opportunity arose. From deposit paid to completion of works was within a month.
Explanation on how it all works and setting up the app to monitor very easy.
Very happy with outcome.

Beware using this company they broke 10 roof tiles they refuse to repair.
We had solar installed on our roof by this company . Unfortunately they broke 10 tiles on our newly repaired roof (replaced tiles pointed, sealed and painted roof approx. 8 weeks ago). When we asked about them repairing it they flatly refused stating that tiles will get broken depending on the condition of the roof. We understand that maybe 1 or 2 tiles but 10 I believe is an excessive amount. (We have had solar panels put 2 previous older homes and had no broken tiles) We have been quoted $400.00 to repair 10 tiles approx. $10 each and for the repairer to come to replace them, coat and paint them. So we are now out of pocket as they refuse to pay for this repair.29 July 2023
Absolutely fantastic, I am so pleased I chose Ryde Energy to install my new solar system, may sound cheesy but it’s soo true.
I began by researching Solar systems, interviewing three companies and receiving quotes from two others. So five in all. Ryde came out on top for all the criteria I had set for myself. They were patient, always always available to discuss my concerns, answer questions calmly and intelligently. Able to direct me to articles that supported their knowledge.Every member of the team, from the wonderful courteous, calm well informed sales representative to the team that arrived to place the PV panels onto the roof of my house, to the prompt, polite, experienced electricians that navigated the procedure of connecting all the wiring. Each member was polite, calm, punctual, tidy and efficient. These are excellent professional caring people. I can not recommend them more highly.

Great company I would recommend
Ryde energy gave me a great quote on a 13kw system I did a little research online they have been in business over 5 years with good reviews. They did the install smoothly in less than a day and my system has worked faultlessly for 7 months now. David was great to deal with as I was on the outside of the area they cover installers drove 3 hours each way to get my installation done.Panel rating: 5/5

N-type Panels
It was raining on Sunday and cloudy and my 6.6KW system had generated just over 15KW WOW that is amazing for a rainy day that is cloud.I couldn't be more happier.

Pathetic customer service and dodgy installation.
Had 32 panels installed and experienced very poor performance. Asked Ryde for help or investigation and the blame the customer game began. Everything from winter to one tree causing the low return.I ended up hiring a separate electrician/ solar installer to check my system and he identified several faults and dangerous practices. He also discovered it wasn’t even wired properly.
New electrician fixed the setup and I now actually get savings on my power bill.
I sent ryde the full report and they continued to avoid and attempt to sidestep responsibility. They have not replied since my last message to them and I will be reporting to the clean energy council and whoever else will listen. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!

Really friendly and professional
They had a price that was too good to be true , but it was.Everyone else said no cant do it for that.
But I had a good talk and they told me all the materials they used and I booked them .
One week and they are there nice and clean and polite and installed a very ultra neat system.
They all had nice shirts on with the company logo.
They had one guy who was in charge.
They worked hard without swearing or any complaints.
They seemed to be very proud of their work.
They said the boss was a couple and they are great to work for.
The price never charged and the system works well.
3 things - price the same as quotes - nice proud workers all wearing the company shirt - neat and tidy.

Believe it or not - they are true
I was hesitant about the purchasing process having been put off by other more bullish suppliers. Wayde was great. He answered my questions, didn't over sell possibilities. The service and email replies were so good I thought it might be a scam but they truly did everything they said they would, when they said they would. I have no hesitation in recommending them07 November 2019
Great installer to deal with. Listened to my needs and gave solutions.
Ryde energy were great to deal with. Did not sell, just listened, and gave a relevant price for the quality of the product they recommended.The installation was on time, clean, precise and smooth. Kept me updated on changes. Never were pushy at all in the process.

The sales person was easy to deal with and the installation went without a problem. The electrician even drove back 1.5 hours from Brisbane the night of the installation to sort a problem at the switchboard that ended up having nothing to do with the installation and was very nice about it.

When Installation was completed there has been some frustration with getting the system up and running dealing with Energex, and changing from Origin to AGL.

I had my old 20wW lead acid system upgraded to a new lithium system over 12 months ago now. The system hasn't skipped a beat, I can finally run my hair dryer while using the vacuum. We have never run out of power, even during long periods of overcast weather. We have a generator set up for emergency power, however we have never needed it, my husband now uses it to run his welder.
The knowledge the boys had was incredible, they seemed to know everything and told us many tips and tricks to get the most out of our system and never be without power. They have rang a couple of times to check up on us and make sure everything has been working and we understand anything. I would recommend to anyone looking for an off-grid system.

All the companies who I was prepared to deal with were straight with and about the information they provided, I am a research nut and I double check everything. The other companies were unable to provide materials in my criteria or attempted to throw a rug over my eyes, which they were found out quickly.
The companies you forwarded to me were good though one was slow on contacting me which had them at a disadvantage because my preliminary choice had been made.

We went with Ryde Energy from Mt Gravatt , the salesman was Very Upfront and Obliging and allowed me to ask all the Silly questions that he must be sick of hearing by now . we agreed on a System and then we Bantered a bit on final Price and once that was agreed it was Exactly Seven days and the System was fully installed on my Roof . I could have got a System a few thousand dollars Cheaper from quite a few solar firms but i chose Ryde Energy on the Strength of the salesmans knowledge and the products that they used, I did research myself prior to committing to any particular company on the merits of the products used . I am a very happy customer and i would highly recommend this company

I don't usually bother reviewing businesses but I felt compelled to in this case. The team at Ryde Energy were such a pleasure to deal with. They made sure I was satisfied and answered all my questions. They also followed up after the install which was lovely. My new system is great and I am already reaping the rewards of cheaper bills. I couldn't recommend them more.

They were patient in explaining everything we needed to know about the system and the benefits it would provide for us. They did not expect us to just take their advice but encouraged us to do our research to validate what they were saying. The quality of system recommended was the best comparative price against quotes from other providers. They were very easy to deal with and communicated to us every step of the way so we were very clear on what were were getting, the savings it would provide and were prompt and reliable with the install. We am very happy we chose to go with these guys.

I had a system die on me due to lower quality panels and a severe weather event. My system was already installed when I bought my house and I didn't know who the original installer was. The panels died and that manufacturer was no longer in business so no warranty. I sourced a group of quotes on a replacement and was offered a competitive quote by Ryde Energy. They weren't the cheapest but were local to me, in the adjacent suburb, and the installer was very helpful and you get what you pay for. He came and did site inspections and was very helpful with working out the options to replace my existing system. The system I settled on was good for my budget and the install quality is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. In fact I already have to my friends. When I get around to upgrading to using a storage system I'll be speaking with these guys as I know the install and component quality will be the best.

A good price for a decent system
The sales and quoting process from Ryde Energy was detailed and comprehensive and they were more than happy to explain the system and brands of components they recommended. The installation was efficient and carried out by Ryde Energy's own staff. They guys arrived on time and did a neat and tidy job of the install. Ryde is also organising the grid connection post install too. So far the service from start to finish has been exceptional.Inverter rating: 5/5
