My name is Michael and I’m a local Orange electrician with 15 years of experience in the electrical field. I am passionate about what I do and I love helping people reduce their electricity bills and becoming more sustainable. I can do this by designing a bespoke solar system to suit your lifestyle. Too many times I have seen solar systems that have been poorly designed, poorly installed, or have used poor quality components.
I only use reputable brands, from the likes of Sungrow, Fronius or Tesla, and I back up all installations with a 10-year installation warranty. I can design a system to suit a wide range of budgets and will closely work with you to achieve the desired result.
A quote from me will include a comprehensive meeting to discuss what both your needs and expectations are from your solar system, your expectations on budget, and whether you have a preference for one brand or another. I always prefer to complete an on-site inspection before sending a quote through.
Post install I will also follow up to make sure the system is performing as it should 3-months and 6-months later. I really enjoy helping people become energy independent – not just for the financial benefit but the environmental one as well.

Great system within budget
We contacted Rapidamp to design a solar system to meet our needs for our new property at Little Hartley.We found Michael easy to deal with and very informative as we went through the many options and systems available. After discussing our budget Michael designed a 15 kw system driven by 2 x Sungrow inverters. One 10kW in the house and the other 5kw hybrid inverter in the garage for battery and car charging upgrade in the future. The panels were mounted and spread across North and west and mounted at the ideal 35 degree pitch.
The entire process went smooth and it was a pleasure to see such great workmanship with an eye for detail and the final result. Michael arranged connection to the grid and we were running. The site was always left clean and tidy to finish.
Wow. The system works great. The app is easy to use very informative as to what’s being used and generated etc etc.
Michael already showing good backup service answering my various questions.
What a great system we have and a great installer we chose. No fuss, great service and price.

Exceptional Quality and highly efficient Service
Michael recently installed some solar panels for us. From start to finish he delivered work of exceptional quality. Michael is an excellent communicator, kept us in the loop throughout the process, including the planning, design and installation. There is not enough adjectives to describe his attention to detail and cleanliness. Michael assisted with the grid connection and even followed up after the installation process to ensure that everything was going as planned. I can highly recommend him for any of your electrical projects.
