No onsite inspection prior to installation so first day was a failure due to inadequate space on planned roof and insufficient tilt brackets carried by installers.
Second day and the installation was completed in 3 hours for a 3Kw system on a almost level roof and using tilt brackets - installers very professional.
The free wireless home monitoring system is utter rubbish and an utter waste of time.
Contractors are used for the installation process.
Negotiated a reduced price for the tilt brackets as I regarded 'day 1 fiasco' to be their fault.
All up $8000 for a 3Kw system October 2010
I liken the whole quote process to being as 'enjoyable' as buying a second hand car!
Caveat emptor!

I have rated the customer service as average due to paying the deposit over four weeks ago, three phone calls and one email requesting a receipt have not received it yet.
Told each time the Accounts department are extremely busy but will send me the receipt.
Concerned if it takes this long to get a receipt, how long will I be waiting for my system to be installed

Did not come close to meeting original completion dates. These were offered freely and not because of pressure from me. So it seams silly to offer completion dates that turned out to be totally unrealistic.

As I had already received pre-approval for the $8000 federal rebate, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 1.5 kw system with a 2 kw inverter quoted by Queensland Solar Systems would cost me nothing! The only fly in the ointment is that Energex (Qld) has not yet installed the additional meter required to measure my contribution to the power grid - this is nearly 3 months after the installation of the system.
