28 months later we asked Trevor: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Yes it has performed well and have had not had any issues with system since fitted.

Since the system was installed I have had endless trouble with the inverter tripping. The inverter has been changed once but is still tripping, so it must be another problem. I have not had good service from the company as they don't answer emails or phone messages. They don't know what the problem is and they really don't want to investigate. Very unhappy with Q2Solar. I have dealt with other companies and have never had any problems with the system once installed. Again, very unhappy. I'm afraid I can't recommend them.

Very suprised the smart meter cannot be programed remotely, and needs a person to come out to do so, and very disappointed the GUI for the meter not available yet.

Freighted from Sydney and installed by local.

I decided to go to auction to buy a system. The reason was that I managed to get a great price. Fitting was 'free' but in fact cost about 2500 dollars. In total, I expect to get it finished for 6000 dollars all up. This is a substantial saving on quotes of up to 60%. The system comes with guarantees of 10 years labor 20 for panels.

Thanks Finn!

I find a couple of things very strange to say the least.

1) Suppliers/Wholesalers like SP Ausnet will not allow more than a 4.5KW system to be installed per site whereas others allow 10KW per phase!! Nobody is allowed to question why?!

2) The inspector who inspects the installation is supposedly independent from either the wholesaler or retailer which means he gets paid by the installer. To me that sort of system lays itself open to rorts and scams and is definitely not a system with any integrity.
