Fronius software could be much better these days.9 months later we asked Tom: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
well above my expectations11 July 2018
Original Review on 08-11-2017:
It is now 4 weeks since I accepted the quotation and my supplier blames the delay on Essential Energy. Essential Energy say they have not received any application to install from the supplier. The supplier cannot (won't?) tell me when the application was submitted so I am at a loss to know who is playing games.I will be happy to do an update for you when I eventually get my system installed. In the meantime please treat this reply as information only. It may be helpful to your readers if you can find out what the normal delay is for gaining approval to install from the relevant authorities, I am sure Essential Energy don't have a monopoly - or do they?

Yes, except for the realtime wifi reporting mentioned above.21 June 2018

Time frames blew out to 8-10 weeks to get it installed , first due to getting the panels, then organising their subcontracted sparky (who BTW was excellent).
Luckily we weren't in a super rush , though I was close to cancelling by the end of it , just very poor at communicating full stop.
Installation appears good so far but it's only been ~3 months.
