Here's hoping it works as specified. I subsequently learned that I was eligible for a 3 kilowatt system from the nsw govt to which I have upgraded to a 6.6 kilowatt system.

Yes, the system has performed to my satisfaction but being a novice, the rewards fail short of my expectations.
Until an economical storage is introduced to cover the night time, the current investment is dubious.
Especially at my age of 77 years.
Interesting exercise though and I'm glad I participated.
One question you may help with is to determine the usage of power generated before exported.
I'm with AGL whose app gives me the per used from the grid and the power exported, while the SEMS app gives me the total power generated.
I'm curious as to how much power the household is benefiting from the solar panels before any exports.

Great installation and product.

Very friendly efficient installation, good value for money, very happy with the product, only thing we would have liked is a better monitoring system, the one we have only shows generation not how much we're using or whats going to the grid, so will have to look at upgrading that.

Job well done

The installation went very well. They came out, removed the old system & installed the new rails, wiring & inverter.
I then had the roof repainted. They returned 3 weeks later, as agreed, & completed the installation.

Customer service was excellent. They even arranged for an updated smart meter to be installed. Original ratings

1 month since installed but can’t use solar yet

They Should organize with energy supplies for customers to use system ASAP after installation ,I am still waiting on origin to replace meter 1 month since installed and they didn’t tell me that I can review or check use with mobile phone app so I don’t know how how its working.

Friendly service from a family business

Very friendly service and straight forward in explaining my options. Installed within 2 weeks of the quote. I’ve only had the system for a few weeks and I called him up with some questions and he came around and explained things and showed me on my inverter at no extra cost. So far so good!

Overall we feel that the system is performing well, we really didn't know how much we would save but to be in credit is better than we had hoped for. I should add that I did a lot of research into sourcing the best deal from the electricity suppliers as well which was time well spent. So overall, yes we are a happy with the systems current performance to date.

Your Solarquotes website is excellent and a must to consult for any prospective newcomer considering the installation of a solar system, extremely informative and great service organizing quotes.

Still waiting on our energy company (Origin) to change our meter so that the solar provider can change the timings for the hot water and give us access, via app, to the inverter readings so that we can monitor what’s being produced. It’s looking good so far. Whatever happens the information and advice on your website was invaluable.

We contacted your finance recommendation - Parker Lane but they would only offer a loan at a higher rate of interest over 10 years (my husband is full time permanent but i’m In temporary work - with same company for last 8 months). Original ratings

The system performed fantasticly in summer but less electricity was produced in winter than we would have like. Probably says more about the weather than the system though.

All was good and quick .still waiting for connections to grid, B4 I can comment on satisfaction from the system and any follow up if required.
Never got the other quote, made appointment they rang twice to let me know they are running late!!
Third call they told me it was too late and they will call back to make a new appointment.They never called back!!!

We signed the contract last Tuesday and they are installing this coming week, 7 - 10 day turn around, others were quoting 4 - 6 weeks and a deposit. No payment until instalment, Fantastic. Positive Energy gave us a great deal on the equipment we requested (Fronius), much better price than larger companies. They have visited us twice and no pressure came to bear, unlike one of the other companies recommended. They were so good I recommended them to two other families in the area who are also taking up their offers from Positive Energy. Now I have to talk to family members. Original ratings

8 months later we asked Peter: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Everything going well, received our first full quarter power bill in January for a $78 credit. This new system sits beside our old original system that is quiet small but still works and contributes. I f an installer wants pull out your older system I would recommend that you leave it in place while ever it is working and contributing.
I have been a little disillusioned with our installer, I recommended 4 of my friends consult with them about their needs. One friend who had a massive system installed has had a faulty inverter (Fronius) right from the installation and cannot get the installer to replace it, thats about 6 months now. What the problem is I don't know. The installer has told my friend that it will be replaced, the question is when.
