Outback Energy Supply principal, Jim Thomson, has been providing a range of electrical solutions in a diverse range of resource and rural industries for over 30 years. In 1999 Jim applied his electrical background to the renewable energy field. Since that time the company has grown from a husband and wife team into today's award winning multi disciplined workforce. Operating from a 660 sq metre workshop showroom and offices in West Kalgoorlie, we are ideally located to serve a wide range of clients throughout the state. We are the inventors of the Outback Power Pack, a containerised portable no dig solar / wind /diesel hybrid power system in continous development since 1994 the Outback Power Pack won the ABC New Inventors peoples choice award in 2010.

Professional Engagement
From my first engagement with Outback Solar which commenced with an onsite inspection I have found the experience to be very professional and very competitive in pricing model. They addressed any concerns I had and once I had agreed t accept their quote their interaction with me regarding the installation process was brilliant. On the day of installation, the sales consultant contacted me on two (2) occasions to ensure I was happy with process. I would highly recommend Outback Solar to anyone who was considering installing a solar panel solution.31 August 2020

Reliable, quality work in WA Goldfields region
The install was in a remote area, so not many installers to choose from. Pre- and post-sales service was good, and the salesperson didn't try to BS me, unlike certain other companies that quoted me.The installation and meter box upgrades were prompt and hassle-free, which is very important when you live 600km from the site.
Components were of high quality, price was reasonable, and workmanship was excellent.

Great Service
Adam was really helpful from start to finish. We couldn't believe how quickly this was done. We received a great quote and then after accepting the quote our solar was installed and connected within a week and a half. We had an issue with our circuits, Adam and Jay were accommodating and willing to get this fixed for us. Highly recommend this team, which we have already with our friends.
