Payment terms include a 10% deposit. Solar 2000 will handle all of the rebate paperwork so that you just pay the difference.

It was one of the few experiences I have had where they did what they said they would do , when they said they would do it. They were quick, pleasant and professional. After installation the sales person rang me to make sure I was satisfied with their service and to assure me they would be available if I had any problems. They also gave me some very good tips on how to save even more money on my electricity bill. The only complaint I have is with my electricity provider who took 3 weeks to change my meter over. I think this is a rather excessive waiting time and I really fail to see why it took so long for them to arrange this.

The rep, Ray, from Solar 2000 was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns.As the system has only just been installed we are yet to know how much we will save on our electricity. The installers did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

Quoted 16/2, paperwork signed on 18/2, ETSA approval 20/2, Site inspection 2/3, New ETSA meter 26/3, Installed 12/4. There was a delay with the arrival of panels from o/s but they kept me informed during this time. Advanced Solar did the installation and they were very tidy and efficient. Solar 2000 were easy to deal with and after initially getting confused with the different companies who all have the best panels etc!! I just wanted to get 3 quotes using the Suntech panels and SMA Inverter. I eventually achieved this and was able to get the best price from Solar 2000! We have been very happy with the choices we made. The system has been a good investment. We just need to ensure the government continues with the Feed In Tariff at an appropriate level! We should really receive $ for $ FIT!16 May 2014

The first quote Ashley gave me included an inverter which had been discontinued for 12mths. When I said in an email to the salesman I wouldn't accept discontinued stock he said he would offer the inverter I had requested, the UNO 2000. When the installers were installing my system the inverter they had put in was the discontinued one that I had rejected. I was not happy & demanded the UNO2000 which had been on the second quote. Their office rang & apologised, saying the supplier had made the "mistake". Fortunately I had not paid the full balance on the discovery of the wrong inverter being installed so 2 days later the correct inverter was installed & the system paid for. However I cannot reach to read the info panel on the inverter without getting on the 2nd rung of a ladder as it was placed too high, only 37cm from the garage ceiling. I sent an email to the company who emailed back saying they would pass this on to the installers. I have not been contacted by anyone since. I live in a retirement village & would have appreciated some consideration of my height & mobility by the installers, even though I had already pointed the difficulty out to them.

The quote was more expensive than the others but I chose the system because I could monitor the output on my computer and see if any panels were weaker than others. The guys who installed it were not sure how to bring the information up on the screen so they organised another person to come out and get it running. He did a really good job. I have since had a power blackout and the information no longer comes up on the screen. I have emailed the company for help but no answer. The input output meter looked like being a long wait to get it installed but then SA Power had a cancellation and installed mine within a few days and it is working well.

Of the seven companies that we contacted for quotes Solar 2000 seamed to have the best balance of price and knowledge of the system. The installers did a great job and completed the entire installation in less than a day.

After much research we decided to go with Solar 2000 based on the price they gave us for a high spec system, and the many positive reviews we had read. They fit us in on the final working day before the Christmas break with no problems. Now we actually look forward to receiving our electricity bills.

Initially quoted for a micro inverter system but was then told the micro inverters were showing some performance problems. We then had to go with a string inverter system with slightly better performing panels which ended up being the same price.

I would have rated them as fantastic as the sales rep was always accessible, was prompt to get back to me but unfortunately was let down by people in the office who did not process the paperwork that was forwarded to the power supplier.
I rang the sales person when I found out from the power supplier that they had no record of an application for our system and he got straight onto the appropriate people and it was sorted that day.
Unfortunately though, it may result in our system being commissioned 3-4 weeks latter than it could have.

We are satified that this business was honest and genuine towards our needs with the best offer at the time. The process of installation was effortless and care free as the process can be complex depending of every state. I was quite happy with the outcome as it is a significant investment for middle income earners such as ourselves.. In the end of the day you have to trust someone who knows what they are offering and not just giving you "shop talk" to get hold of your business. Solar 2000 delivered on what they promised - its that simple.

It is early days. I am happy the system has been installed. The proof as to whether we have made the right decision will be determined by if we see a dramatic reduction from our current power costs and if there are no problems with the system itself. If there are problems then how quickly they are resolved. Hopefully, keeping fingers crossed all should be well.

Whole experience from Quote to final installation was refreshingly straight forward.
Ashley, gave us an honest quote according to our budget.
Solar 2000 took care of all the steps, including meter change over application.
Slight delay on installation due to bad weather, but this was out of everyones control.
Would definitely recommend Solar 2000 to anyone contemplating installing a Solar system.

Solar 2000 were from start to finish professional, friendly, provided great advice and never forceful.

I'd looked at a lot of systems prior to making my decision and had heard a lot of contradicting advice from other companies. After signing the contract the installation process was quick and painless. The installers work with you to get the most out of your panels and roof space.

I chose Solar 2000 because of the reviews and also because it is a local Adelaide company - I did not want to deal with an interstate company. The consultant who came to give the quote was an older experienced person unlike some young ones sent by other companies, who didn't know their stuff. Other companies I contacted quoted over the phone without even coming to the house! Not dealing with 'remote' installers.
Feedback on the progress of the order prior to installation was excellent. The two installers were very efficient and had the system installed and running under 4 hours. I have been monitoring the output and other parameters and can say that the system is performing as expected.
I am happy with the system and would recommend Solar 2000 to anyone contemplating going solar.

Although, the system & warranties was supplied by the company contracted (Solar 2000), the installation was done by another solar company (JSI) who were sub-contracted in.
If I had wanted another company to install, I would have gone to them in the first place!! I had to tell them to move the panels higher up to prevent rain-water cascading over the gutter, which I would not expect from professionals.
Overall though, the job was done neatly.

8 weeks to wait for the supplier to install the meter. Not good enough. Not paying money for a system that I can't see operating. Have to wait for installation.
Most solar companies want full payment before installation. Not interested, quite liked their systems.
As per our phone conversation unfortunately the SA Power Networks (ETSA) process is not always smooth and quick sailing for us or the customer. Their meter installation can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks or sometimes months to be installed; this is out of our control at Solar2000. As they supply us with the earliest installation date for us to book you in, we can only give you the earliest date that they give us.
Due to you having a digital meter, if the solar system was to be put on your roof before the meter was installed and it was too be turned on, it would cost you more money to run the solar system as it would not feed into the grid and you would receive a higher electricity bill. This is why the solar system is being installed once the meter is installed by Sa Power Networks.
Solar 2000 offer a few methods for paying for your solar system, we only ask for payment before the installation if you are not going to be home on the day, or you are paying via BPAY which takes a couple of days to show up in our bank. Bank Cheque and Cash are acceptable on the day of installation to go to our installers who bring the payment straight to us.

Sales person friendly and knowledgeable, speed of paperwork and installation was great, however the lack of communication was quite annoying. Had to keep calling/emailing to get an actual installation date. Have since tried to call them in regards to upgrading however again no response to calls or emails.
