13kw system for new house build
Very happy with service from Lumos installing a new 13kw solar system on our new home. Damien took the time to meet on-site before providing a quote. This allowed us to troubleshoot with the builder the best way to install, as builder had already installed gyprock making things a little trickier. Damien provided a prompt quote and then his team were able to get the conduit installed promptly just before Christmas so we didn't hold up the builder....subsequently installed the full system in the New Year and very happy with the job and service provided. Excellent value for money
Excellent service throughout. Delivered the cheapest quote for exactly what we were after. They even installed the backup system that other vendors wanted to charge extra for. Looking forward to their return to install extra modules to the Sungrow batteryPanel rating: 5/5

Quality install
Took the time to do onsite quote. The install team were punctual, tidy and a pleasure to deal with.A quality install. Used recognised brands, demonstrated attention to detail with positioning of the inverter. Great customer service with induction on the app.

Better than 5 star
My initial contact was via phone to gain general knowledge of the overall Solar system we should install. Damien from Lumos Electrical Contracting gave me plenty of his time and I was very impressed with his knowledge and common sense answers and approach to my queries. This was followed up by a site visit where he actually went onto the roof to confirm the space available for the panels which indicated more than could be assessed from Google maps. Neither of the previous two contractors went to this trouble.We installed 30 Aiko panels, a Sungrow 25kwh battery and a Sungrow 10kw inverter. I considered the quote very reasonable.
The installation process went very well with a team of 5 initially that were all very polite and friendly as well as going about their work quietly, professionally and without fuss. They were all very particular about being tidy, didn't wear shoes in the house and cleaned up after they finished.
I couldn't recommend Lumos highly enough. It was a real pleasure to have tradesman go about their work without any issues.
