Great Customer Service
The Lokic Energy team clearly understand customer service.Making the effort to visit the site to clearly understand the needs of the customer (helping deal with any areas of concern/lack of understanding) and any challenges that the installation may bring for me differentiated them from other suppliers.
The installation process itself was painless and the on-site team were friendly and professional to deal with.

Great installation
Nick Lokic kept me informed during a rain delay of one week, good planning all the way . The first opportunity Nick and his team were up on the roof and installation was completed in one day. I am not an electrician , but I can tell expertise experience and professionalism when I see it.One of the big differences between Nick and other Solar panel installers is that Nick OWNS the company, and has been in business for over 20 years. So you are dealing directly with the installer , there are no subcontractors used ,who can disappear overnight, having installed dubious kit. Nick ,as owner of the company takes 100% responsibilty and control over the installation process. The 10 year installation and workmanship warranty just confirms the integrity in his setup.
I am one of 50 townhouses in a medium size complex, so I thought this may all be too hard, with stratas , connections to the grid in a communal complex, individual contracts, but It all went very very well and certainly did not " phase" Nick and his team.
I am currently sitting here ,looking at my phone app, which is telling me how much Electricity the panels are generating,
how much electricity the house is consuming, and how much electricity we are we are pulling in off the grid.
All in real time. Nicks team assisted in setting this up. This is just too cool for school.
I cannot recommend Nick,his team and Lokic Energy highly enough.

Excellent product and service
I'm extremely happy I chose Lokic. The products they use are carefully chosen and the service is friendly and professional. There was a proper site visit and inspection undertaken and I was given clear and honest advice about my choices. Most importantly for me, I only needed to deal with one company - Lokic - for everything, and they will continue to remotely monitor the system so I can contact them if I have questions or need assistance in the future. Very happy with our choice of solar
A very good experience overall with Lokic throughout the process. They came onsite to quote and explain the proposed system and installation process. They installed everything in one day and were very consultative around where to place panels and the inverter. A good friend in the business was amazed such a complex installation was done in one day - Nick and his team really delivered everything as stated and on time and didn’t leave until everything was tested, working and demonstrated. Excellent system and customer service
We received great advice on the appropriate system for us. The installation was without any problems and Lokic Energy Solutions basically worked around what suited us. Start to finish - terrific.
The whole process was fantastic with the Lokic guys. They were happy to come round a couple of times (at my request) to talk through the proposed system. Installation went smoothly, and the system is humming! I would unhesitatingly recommend Nick and the boys from Lokic.22 July 2021
Excellent installation
Lokic were really helpful. Knowing we were intending to go away (sadly thwarted by lockdown), they hurried the installation forward when they had a cancellation. They were fast, tidy and efficient. They sent a plasterer to repair a hole in the verandah ceiling and an electrician to fix a fuse ready for smart metre installation.28 March 2021

A terrific team installed our system.
We got three quotes and we selected Lokic Energy Solutions. I was impressed with the James who provided the original consultation - he answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. There's a steepish learning curve when you install solar, quite a lot to get your head around, but none of this seemed a problem for James.We then had three installers, plus the boss Nick Lokic, arrive promptly as promised the following week to install. Nick made the original introductions then left his installers to it. They worked extremely hard - we live in a tall, awkward terrace house with the panels to be installed on one side of the house and the inverter and power box way down below on the other side. I'm sure it was not the easiest installation. The guys were determined that we wouldn't have any ugly extra power cables and somehow managed to feed everything through a near non-existent roof cavity so that there was nothing unsightly.
Somehow, the SolarEdge inverter turned out to be faulty and 'gave up' after 24 hours. Nick worked this out even before we did and phoned me to say the installers would be back the next day to swap it over. This fault was nothing to do with Lokic Energy. Finally, Nick provided me promptly with the necessary paper work to file with our energy provider so as we can get credits for what we feed into the grid.
All in all, very happy customers.

Professionalism at its absolute best
James was our first contact with this company. He came to our house, listened to our needs and was very up front and honest about the service they could provide. He actually got up onto the roof and inspired confidence in the company's ability to deliver this service. We being novices in this field, he spent much time with us patiently explaining the process, showing us computer simulations of sunshine on our roof and where best to place the panels for maximal effect.Nick Lokic and his team were superb - always on time, incredibly polite, very tidy and very knowledgeable. Furthermore, Nick listened to us - he understood how important the overall look of the house and that the solar panels and the wiring should not be intrusive. He was very patient with us, even as we changed our minds about the course of wires half way through their job. They happily obliged and left us very satisfied.
They have delivered on everything they said they would, including organisation of the grid connection after the installation. They have provided us with high quality solar panels. Both James and Nick made themselves available to be contacted and always replied to our texts. We could not recommend them highly enough for anyone who is looking to install solar panels.

An excellent result
I greatly appreciated the detailed explanation from the sales person, James, who spent a lot of time with me and went through the various options in a clear and logical way. It was good to have a long face-to-face discussion. By contrast- Clipsal wanted me to sign up without having a face-to-face discussion; they based their quote and specifications on the satellite image of my house. They said they would amend the specifications and the quote after I had placed an order if any changes needed to be madse, but this did not seem like a good business model to me.Nick Lokic and his team were were very good to work with. They were obviously very good technically, and their installation job was excellent. Follow-up has been excellent, responding to a few minor glitches and queries promptly and effectively.

Nick and team are highly recommended
Sales was easily the most transparent of all quotes received. No sales tactics. Just balanced advise.Installation had no issues - very tidy. Exceeded expectations when it came to replacing any 60 yo brittle tiles (I had a few).
Very polite and quiet while we were working from home.
We are very happy with the product and panel output.
Would not hesitate to recommend Nick, Mitch and the team.

Fantastic team for installation, value for money and customer service
What a great experience working with Nick and the team from Lokic. From the initial consultation and systems planning, through to installation, and then systems enablement, the team work very friendly, professional, and hard working. It gets hot on a corrugated iron roof in the Sydney summer, but nothing phased the guys.We have had great follow up from Nick through the systems enablement, and he has been great helping us tune and understand what to expect from the system. We have learned a great deal through the process, mostly due to Nick's patience, understanding, and great communications skills.
I would absolutely recommend Nick and the team from Lokic. We may not have fully realised our dream of being 100% "off the grid", but we are significantly more energy efficient than we have ever been before. Actually looking forward to the next electricity bill to see the savings.
One interesting learning point - we were on the fence as to whether or not we should install a storage battery. We ended up going with the 10 Kw LG unit which gives us a few extra hours of power after the sun goes down, so not enough power to keep off the grid at night (we can burn through 2-3 Kw per hour cooking etc). Tech in this space changes pretty quickly, so we are expecting to upgrade the unit at some later point when production costs come down, and capacity increases.

Excellent service and a good price

Call me old-fashioned, but personal touch swung my choice of solar installer
Nick Lokic from Sydney-based Lokic Energy Solutions called me after getting my details through SolarQuotes. I'd nearly settled on another solar installer after getting multiple quotes, then at the last minute I used SolarQuotes to help validate the numbers and equipment I was being quoted. What Nick did that no-one else had done was pretty much insist on a site visit. He came by my home within days and took me through the options. I get it that online system design and quoting drives sales scale in the competitive solar sector, but I question whether it delivers quality of service and customer experience? Nick personally drove the sales process, and supervised the installation that followed. His friendly team arrived when he said they would and came back the next day to finish the job. Everything looked well-organised, and professionally competent, and Nick even hooked up my previously-installed Wattwatchers monitoring device to cover the new rooftop system (Hanwha Q-Cells panels, SolarEdge inverter system, 6.6kW). The picture I've uploaded shows the Wattwatchers data on the mydata.energy dashboard, with a pool pump and EV on trickle charge mopping up most of the solar generation (on a sunny winter Sunday) and minimising surplus export to the grid.
