About
LJW Solar has been installing solar panels since 1982. It is a member of the Clean Energy Council and all its installers have the necessary qualifications to complete the job professionally.
The company prides itself on its integrity and value, helping customers decide on the right solar power system for the needs of themselves and their property.
Only the best components from reputable suppliers are used by LJW Solar - Suntech mono panels and Samil inverters both come with a ten-year warranty. Furthermore, the company uses its own railing system that is wind resistant to more than 300km per hour.

Original Review on 31-05-2018:
I chose the installers because I live 400km from Sydney and we have a local agent. Personal contact and after sales service seem important when you are remote from Sydney. The installers all communicated well and did a great job in a very short time. All good thank you.8 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
My system has performed above my expectations. My system is a 5kw system with 18 panels. !2 panels face north and 6 panels face west.I was expecting to average about 24 - 27 kwh per day, which I was in the middle of winter, but now in the summer time I am averaging 33kwh per day.
I recently changed onto a different plan with my energy provider, and I now get 20 cents for every extra KWH that I produce.
This means that after all my power is paid for, I am getting about $20 to $30 credit each week.
Gotta be happy with that!

Plenty of cheaper quotes but always cutting corners.
LJW Solar sent a team of 4 people who did a great job with a very pleasant and helpful attitude.

I was not particularly interested in either company but one persisted and an on-site assessment was made. Both companies provided quotes in the $3,000+ range. This company then made persistent phone calls regarding their quote and whether I was going to take it. The company I chose was recommended by neighbours who had solar installed by them over five years ago. Their quote was more expensive but I felt far more confident about their ability to follow through and their warranties, as well as their products and history.

I have not received quotes from anyone who responded through you.
Ljw came to the property, took levels, etc. Did not attempt to quote via Google Earth or Near Map!
Communication is excellent and are very supportive.

Original Review on 12-12-2018:
1. Your three quotes were quite similar to the one I chose through an external installer2. I knew someone who used to work with my chosen installer and that they were known for high quality work
3. None of the Solarquotes installers offered to come to the premises to discuss a final design
4. I would not have hesitated to go with any of your recommended installers, they were all quality installers
5. I have already recommended your website to someone who is about to find an installer
6. your website should be first stop for people considering to install solar systems

8 months later we asked Christian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system is working really well, but the payoff period is currently about 10 years plus. I do have trees that provide shade, especially in the winter and it has made it a less atractive investment.
