Our installer has been installing solar for over a decade, and is also the owner of JWS Electrical Services.
We are a family owned business and have over a decade of experience in the Solar industry. All of our staff are in house, meaning we all have an invested interest in your solar needs. The professional selling you the solar, is also the one installing it, so you are receiving expert advice throughout your experience with us. There are no scripted sales people here, just a friendly team of passionate staff who all aim to do the one thing – reduce your electricity bills. JWS take the time to analyse every home we are presented with and work with you closely to detail the system that is the most suitable based on your needs and energy consumption. We service both Residential & Commerical clients, helping to save them hundreds and in some cases thousands of dollars a year.

Quality Work
JWS Electrical delivered the installation of the solar System on time as promised. The installers were terrific to work with and completed the work with very little fuss and cleaned up afterwards. They assisted in getting the solar app up and running. I would recommend JWS for anyone!!06 September 2024
Reliable and Fantastic Installer
Josh, Maddie and the entire JWS team are top notch and the best. Very polite. From the quotes being no pressure sales talk to a very neat and quality install.They have just installed our system today and will wait from the third party for inspection for us to enjoy our new system and we can’t wait.

The best installer with an awesome post install customer service
From the quoting process to the punctual timing of the install. The installation of my 6.6kW solar system was completed with an eye for detail and ensured that my home roof was left tidy, free of any cracks and even changed a couple of roof tiles to ensure a leak free install. The installers at JWS were so great that they even guided me thoroughly on how to use the system and even set it up on my mobile phone and explained how to read the graphs etc. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.Panel rating: 5/5

Great experience, professional team.
Sales team were very helpful answering all my questions and when they didn’t know the answer went away, consulted team and came back to me.Proposals were detailed and use similar software to other companies quoting. Pricing was competitive. Not the cheapest quote but looking at reviews, multiple conversations with team members and previous instal photos I had a gut feel that there would be no install problems if I went with JWS. My gut was right :)
Once I decided and confirmed, process went smoothly with solar Vic approving within 1 week. JWS could have installed the next week but I wasn’t available. Booked a suitable date. The team confirmed they were on the way before arrival. Professional truck setup. Safety rails installed. Team worked cleanly and professionally. They were open to answer questions I had about the process. Finished in one day. System looked fantastic. Inverter install was very neat. Solar panels aligned and neat where allowable(skylight in the middle of one array prevented alignment) tested and setup Goodwe app with me. Left me documentation and updated drawings.
Once installed JWS team stayed in contact, confirmed I had submitted all documents. Inspector that JWS arranged came within 1 week. Power supplier(powercore) took 2 weeks to reconfigure smart meter. I started generating power early July. After one and a half months of running, the system has generated 800kwh. On some sunny Melbourne days it has generated 35kwh.
I would strongly recommend JWS as the instal quality and customer service was fantastic. They are a company that uses their own workforce and care about their customers and brand.

Fantastic installation and great quality of work
The whole process from start to finish was seamless and very professional. JWS made it very easy for me to go solar. The installation was completed punctually. Everything was organised for us by JWS from start to finish we didn't have to do a thing. The quality of work was 10/10 and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting to go solar. Great installation! Great service!
Great service from the start. Madeline was very easy to deal with answered all my questions and didn't give me the long sales spiel! Josh and the crew installed the panels and inverter with no fuss and to a high standard. They even replaced some previously cracked tiles on the roof while they were up there!Would recommend you get JWS for your solar installation!

Excellent Installer
Had solar panels installed recently, and cannot recommend it any highly enough. Customer service was excellent from Madeline, Josh and his team were excellent and professional and went above and beyond by sealing a few cracked tiles which they had noticed.Thanks JWS!

Highly recommended Installer, a review from returned customer
This is my second time with JWS, and I'm very happy with their services. In fact, I have referred them to my families, friends and neighbours. All of them are happy with JWS.From quote to installation day, everything is flawless. The admin staffs are very helpful and answered all your queries.
The installation also done very professionally, no mess and definitely they are not "cowboy" contractor.
All in all, top notch services from all the staffs at JWS.

Great Installer
From initially talking to Madeline then having Josh and his crew arrive to install the system the process was flawless.The team listened to what I wanted and provided excellent customer service. They were a couple of hundred dollars dearer than the other installers I received quotes from but sometimes customer service wins out and it certainly did with this team.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JWS to anyone wanting a solar system installed.

System is working well. In the summer my bills have reduced from around $80 per month to around $5 per month. Winter bills are around $25 per month - great savings all around and I’m really happy.07 June 2024
Reliable and easy to work with
Great experience with JWS installing our 6.6kw system. Made the experience easy from quoting through to installation. Madeline in the office was lovely and very knowledgeable and communicative. The installation team were super nice, very efficient and did a great job. Confident that they take great pride in their work and that shows. I chose JWS Electrical for my solar panel and EV charging station installation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Now I just wanted solar and it was as simple as just calling JWS.. it was smooth sailing from obtaining the quote which was priced really well especially the products they use!!Highly recommended.. the workman ship is exceptional can’t fault them, I’ve got a double story and the installers completed with such neat work and cleaned up there mess before they left..

Everything was taken care ofQuoting was quick and questions answered.
The install guys lead by Josh were great. On time and got stuck into it straight away.
The only surprise was that there was no option to pay by credit card. Bank transfer only.

Fantastic installer. Beautiful installation!
The quoting process was pretty smooth as JWS was able to price match an offer I got from another installer. Madeline was always prompt in her replies to all queries I had.The actual installation went through without any major hiccups. Josh and his crew were very professional, punctual, polite and did a tidy job.
I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable installer.

Great communication and very clean install!
After witnessing some of the other solar setups in my area, I was initially hesitant about getting solar installed. However, I must commend the team at JWS for their exceptionally clean installation! A special shoutout to Josh and Madeline for their outstanding work!!

I contacted JWS after receiving a few quotes from other companies. Their quote was the fairest and their lovely admin staff aided me in the process from quote to install. Really impressed with the whole process

100% satisfied
From start to finish everything worked out the way it should. Nice and easy. Couple phone calls, couple emails and everything was set. This is the second time I’ve use JWS Electrical and can’t recommend themenough. The installation is 100% perfect, these boys are perfectionists and take pride in their work. It’s not just a job for them, they love what they do and it shows in their work. Absolute top blokes aswell, wouldn’t even think of using someone else.

Lovely set of people to deal with
When I thought about installing solar for my home in the month of March 2022, I did not know anything. So, I started with the research about solar and contacted many installer for quotes. But, even at this time, I was not aware that I did not know much about solar. Then got to know better after talking to couple of Solar installers, JWS Electrical was one among them. Madeline was the first point of contact and she has all the patience in the world to wait for answers. Whenever I used to get the call, I will not be in a situation to pick up and would be able to return back after 6PM, so would email her of my questions or the reasons for the call. She used to reply the next day and would make sure that all the questions are answered from their end. The installers also have a special mention, they were punctual and was very helpful to answer my questions and took safety as utmost priority and was not even bothering me for anything. I was wondering that the work would take the whole day, but by mid day, they were all done and the workmanship was so clean. Anyone who had seen the home before and after installation would have to wonder if someone even worked here. Instructions on do's and don'ts were clearly communicated and the app to use to track the usage and best practices were all explained clearly. Even if I have to ask them regarding any issues now (in 2024), I do not have any hesitation in contacting them. I would highly recommend JWS for a no-nonsense installation.Panel rating: 5/5

Fantastic Service and Seamless Installation - 10/10
I found the sales and quoting process seamless and effortless, Josh was informative, super helpful and responsive to all my queries.Josh was fantastic with the installation which went smoothly, he was punctual each morning. The area was left very clean post installation, he even went above and beyond by taking the time to explain how it all works to fully utilise the system.
I would highly recommend JSW to anyone looking for Solar.

Good installer that I would recommend to my family
The quoting was straightforward with Madeline being wonderful to work with.While they tend to be busy at times, the support was always on point and they always returned the calls and emails on the same business day.
They provided all the information to raise rebate request and also the design plans and equipment information are shared with great detail.
The installation although was delayed due to Christmas holidays but given the pipeline of work they seem to have, I did not mind too much.
Josh and team were on time during the day of installation and braved the extreme heat and weather to finish the installation on the same day as well as setup the monitoring of my Fronius invertor.

Josh & his team was reliable, efficient & effective. He also took the time to teach me how to read the monitor, so that I can capitalise on the solar panels. Excellent service response and installation
The overall process from quotes until the installation went smoothly. The service response was very prompt and excellent in providing all the options of the kwh to be used.The installation process was done professionally and in excellent way. I was also very happy that Josh introduced a PowerPal meter which help me to better understand the electricity consumption at my home. The team also helped replacing some of the broken tiles during the installation.
All in all, excellent and professional services.

Well I must say I am impressed. The quote was completed off site and I was dubious about whether they would have a right number of panels and with the correct orientation but to my surprise when they arrived to do the job the design was perfect and working beautifully. I am currently charging an electric vehicle and it is costing me nothing. Josh and all his team were efficient, courteous and friendly. I am so glad I used them. From the moment I made contact to the final handshake after completion in a day, what a fantastic experience it has been working with JWS.This is why it pays to use local companies and not the ‘big boys’
These guys not only worked damn hard and to an impeccable standard, but they CARE. They made sure there were no short cuts and provided outstanding and hard to find old fashioned good service along with their 10/10 work.

The best solar team in the business!
What a wonderful experience from quote, support through too installation. Adding solar to a new build, there was almost 2 years years in between first contacting JWS and having my solar installed. The entire team were patient, helpful and so friendly. They answered all of my silly questions and made me feel supported. They were clean and courteous and did a thorough inspection of my roof prior to leaving. I highly recommend JWS for any Solar requirements08 December 2023
Can’t recommend Highly enough!
Right from the start JWS was great to deal with. The quote was very detailed and really well priced so we had no hesitation going with them. Communication with scheduling etc with their Office was fantastic. Our job had some real challenges (with our roof etc) but they were fantastic-explaining what was going on and constantly come up with solutions. Great service great installer
The sales quoting process was fast the sales person was friendly and informativeThe installation team were on time and had great communication once they were finished yoy didn't even know the had been they were clean tidy and efficient.

Madeline and the other girls in the office are super helpful during the quoting process. They give clear concise answers to all your questions. JWS only work with reputable products ensuring a quality system upon install. Communication is paramount with any service, and they provide regular updates from quoting all the way through to installation. Josh and the other gents are friendly and helpful, and clean and respectful, super tidy installation! I will recommend JWS to others!
