Jet Solar, based out of Rowville are an experienced Solar & Battery specialist serving Victorian customers. 

We work with you to scope and install the best solar solution for your situation using only trusted, tested, reliable brands of solar panel, inverter and battery. Brands that we know and stand behind, including Enphase, Tesla, Sungrow, Fronius, Jinko, and REC.

Our history:

The Director of Jet Solar Pty Ltd, Jason Dickinson was originally a Sole Trader, trading as JLD Electrical Services, established in May 2015.

Jason's business grew successfully with many happy customers and in 2018 it was time to form a company structure with the establishment of Jet Solar Pty Ltd.

High Flying Jet Solar!

Very easy to recommend Jet Solar after our experience across the last two days. Liam and Corey were our main points of contact, and they (along with the entire install team) were punctual (7am on the dot both days), polite and displayed exemplary care when installing our solar system (9.68kw Jinko) and battery (SunGrow 6.4kw). They cleaned up the site beautifully - super important in a garage space and with a 2yo lurking - and answered a couple of small follow up questions I had after they'd left for the day. They also completed an upgrade to our switchboard - thanks for the neat labelling too! Cheers Jet Solar!

Fantastic Installation and Customer Service

We got a lot of quotes and did a lot of research when we started looking at replacing our old 3kw system. After reading multiple bad reviews about small and large companies, we found Jet Solar who had all 5 Star reviews and we now know why.
They provided us with clear information about the system and how it would work. They guided us through the process of applying for the rebates etc we qualified for and made the whole process smooth and easy.
They arrived to install the system on the scheduled date and time. The whole team were pleasant and obviously experienced by the quality of the work done. The work area was spotless when they left. When the Inspector came, he told us that they had done a really good job. Before they left they showed us how to use the system and the App.
The after sales service has been fantastic. They are easy to contact and quick to reply. Initially we had a few issues with our Inverter, but they were straight onto investigating the problem and when they determined it had a faulty part, they just replaced it.
We then had issues with our Energy Company Jemena, who had technical difficulties registering our Inverter. It took over 2 months to get sorted and Jet Solar did all the follow ups for us.
We are extremely happy and highly recommend them.

Efficient, professional and great customer service

The whole process with Jet Solar was completed efficiently and professionally. Adam was great at designing a system that suited our needs and took the time to explain in detail the panels, inverter and EV charger he recommended. The installation team were very punctual, professional and polite. From our perspective, the installation went very smoothly and they left our house tidy. Jet Solar arranged the electrician check / sign off on the same day so was all very efficient. They are on the expensive side but in our view this is well worth it for a hassle free and excellent customer service Would highly recommend Jet Solar

5 years ago Jet Solar installed panels on our house. That system has performed perfectly. Fantastic Installers

From the initial contact to obtain a quote right through to the installation Jet Solar were great. The service was excellent helping me through the rebate application process as well as recommendations on the system components I required. I ended up having 15 Jinko 440W panels and a Fronius Primo GEN24 5.0 inverter installed. Paul and his crew arrived on time on the day booked and were very friendly and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending Jet Solar.

The quoting process was incredibly quick and hassle-free. We received a detailed quote within a day!

The installation team was punctual, arriving at 7 am as promised. They got straight to work and completed the job just before 3 pm. The team was polite, professional, and left everything tidy once they finished.

Fantastic Business

Solar can be a minefield, with door knockers trying to sell and an overwhelming amount of social media, you never quite know whether you are making the right choice or more importantly paying the right price.

Adam and the team from Jet Solar, simplified the process and provided honest information on how it worked what it cost and what our options were. The team came out on the day, on time, and were courteous and professional and did the install with a minimum of fuss with little disruption to our day as possible.

Once the work was completed they stepped us through everything and ensured we were setup on the app so we could then track how our solar was performing.

Adam then followed up a few days later to ensure we were happy and patiently answered any questions we had.

From our initial contact to completion Adam and the team from Jet Solar were fantastic and thoroughly deserve the reputation they have earned.

Fast, prompt and efficient installation

We received a competitive quote and the most ideal layout from the three solar panel installers we received a quote from. They were understanding of our need to complete our roof repairs prior to installation of the solar panels and were able to offer the same quote upon being re-contacted. Responses were received within 1-2 business days and installation for 15 panels and the inverter were completed in one day. Very satisfied with the process from quote to installation and follow-up support.

A second day was needed to complete the battery setup, and was cleared and activated by the inspector.
The system is now up and running and I’m very happy. Adam and his team are most helpful with any queries and instructions.

Trustworthy and excellent service

I recently had solar panels and battery installed by Jet Solar, and my experience was superb. From the beginning, speaking with Adam, who did the quote (which was reasonable) and explained it very thoroughly and gave me honest assessments of the options, and wasn't there to simply make a buck. Another provider I obtained a quote for didn't take into account certain details that would've costed me more to install but would've been a generally more ineffective system.

They also pride themselves on only focusing on solar and their entire crew being in-house and not subcontracted - it definitely showed in the overall service and experience. They did what they could to work around our busy schedule with a baby and their sleep times, worked late to get the job done on time, to the minute but noticeable details such as asking if we wanted them to take off shoes when they came in the house, and they even arranged to come back to replace several roof tiles that had broken. You can tell that this culture of good customer service and excellence runs throughout the whole company.

All this to ultimately say that I'm very happy with Jet Solar, I very much recommend Jet Solar to do your solar, and that you can trust them (and finding a service provider you can trust can be hard these days). Thank you!

Good installation process and great customer service after install

The quotation process was good. They listened to what I wanted and provided a fully spec'd system. Installation had a few delays as it was over winter, due to weather, but they kept me informed and completed the install in a reasonable period. Customer service after the install was excellent, including coming out and repairing some damage caused by vandals shortly after the system was installed. This was done without fuss or charge.

Addition of Our Home Battery

Further to my earlier post after receiving advice from our energy supplier that their Solar Feed In Tariff would decrease from 4.9 to 3.30 cents per KwH we decided to fit a home battery and keep as much power produced from our solar panels for ourselves. We subsequently had Jet Solar install a 12.8 kWh Sungrow SBR 128 Battery Storage system. The system was installed and commissioned on 16/09/2024 with minimum fuss and was a quality job. I was impressed with the extra information imparted by the installer with regard to interpreting the solar information from the Australian server in terms of our solar production and what was being produced by the battery and returned to the grid. We will use this information to optimise our usage of the battery. I am expecting big savings over time and the opportunity in future of perhaps owning either an EV or hybrid powered car using our solar powered system. Rowville 17/10/2024.

Highly recommended installers and system!

Adam called me within 90 seconds of my online enquiry (other installers took weeks and missed out on my business). We talked out my needs and he had a quote for me very quickly.

Corey was the lead installer on the day and was able to easily accommodate some layout changes due to future skylight install, this was all no fuss. He also was happy to remove an old solar hot water panel which has been long disconnected, no fuss and no extra charge.

I went with Sungrow 10kw inverter and 13.2kw Jinko panels, about 12kw north and 1.2 West facing. From 730am to 4:30pm Ive been maxing 5kw export to grid while running the home, only time not maxing export was during EV car charging where I can charge at 7kw and still be putting about 1.5kw in grid. Very happy with the system and the installation process start to finish! Would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic Installation and Service 18 September 2024

We were very impressed and pleased with Jet Solar from our initial contact for a quote to the final inspection of the system. Everything went smoothly and efficiently and surprisingly quickly.
The quoting process was thorough and comprehensive in terms of our system requirements and the procedures involved in government rebates etc.
The installation was fantastic. The team of 4 arrived punctually. They were a great group of polite, considerate, efficient and knowledgeable guys, who cleaned up meticulously. When the installation was completed they explained how the system worked, took us through the various aspects and connected us to the monitoring App. There were no problems and Jet Solar organised connection to the grid as well as informing our electricity retailer for tariff calculation.
The electrical inspector arrived the next day and his comment was that the installers had done a very good job. We were “switched on” less than 24 hours after the installation was completed and everything is working.

I recently had Jet Solar, led by Adam, install solar panels with Enphase microinverters and a Tesla Powerwall 2 at my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The team was professional, approachable, and efficient from start to finish.

As good as it gets

Jet Solar installed our 22 panels with micro inverters. The experience was as good as it gets from end to end. Initially got in touch with them based on a friend's recommendation and would also recommend them to anyone else. Highly professional and pleasant from point of sale through installation and follow ups. Installation was completed in timely and clean manner even when faced with unfavourable weather on the day. A fantastic job - throughout the whole process!!!

We asked for over a dozen quotes and end up choosing Jet Solar. As we have install a few times prior and not just after the cheapest or the quickest turnaround. It is important that what was promised and was done. Also, the response after the installation was spot on. Not many company take immediate action, but Jet Solar did. There was no power after a few days, but it was Powercor problems, yet the owner even took the extra time to come out to find out what was wrong.
If you decide to go for solar and battery, choose Jet Solar.

Efficient and Professional Solar Installer

We had Jinko solar panels, a Sungrow inverter and Sungrow battery installed by Jet Solar at our home. Their quote was very reasonable compared to the various quotes for similar systems we received. Their team did an excellent job on the day, they were here as scheduled, cleaned up after the job and trades very polite and professional.They showed me how to install the app on my phone, showed me in detail how the system works, how to check for faults after the installation was completed. Adam, Jason and Erin kept following up to see that all was in order after the job was completed. When we discovered a ceiling leak from a cracked tile that was missed at installation they attended to this promptly and fixed the issue. They followed up after the installation job was completed to check if all was ok, and have also ensured that all the solar feed paperwork to our current energy provider has been completed . To date we have had no problems with the installation. I would highly recommend Jet Solar as it’s clear they take pride in their work are efficient, professional and have a good full time team.

Flawless 2nd installation job by Jet Solar

12 months ago, I contracted Jet Solar to install my solar panels: the pre-installation communication and assessments process was smooth, the installation job was flawless and the last 12 months of post-sales customer support was excellent.

Not long after my solar panels were installed (late 2023), I concluded that I would need to consider a battery and perhaps an expansion of my solar panel array. I didn’t hesitate to call Adam at Jet Solar to discuss next steps, who was lovely, knowledgeable, friendly and “bloody marvellous” as always. In fact, I also didn’t even consider alternative providers partly due to the flawless installation of my solar panels but also the fabulous post-sales customer support from the Jet Solar team.

After 1 July this year, I decided to pull the trigger and go with a battery. I spoke with Jason, the owner of Jet Solar. Jason’s knowledge of solar systems, batteries and inverters is phenomenal and he was able to advise the best course of action (across several lengthy phone calls).

At this point, all the heavy lifting had been done and it was just a matter of scheduling a suitable time.

Installation day came and went so smoothly that i barely noticed it. The installation team, run by Corey, was polite, courteous, clean, respectful of my property/home and even cleaned up after themselves. In fact, my garage is now cleaner after the Jet Solar installation job than it was before!

Immediately following the installation, I had a problem connecting the Tesla Gateway to the Tesla app. Corey was unbelievably patient, helpful and in fact stayed with me for the additional 40-50mins while we spoke with Tesla support. I don’t imagine that too many installers would have done this.

Within 24 hours of the installation job being completed, I received a call from the solar/battery compliance inspector to green-light and officially commission my system. When the battery is officially brought online it will have taken well under 72 hours from the start of installation works to commissioning the system into active service.

So, long story short, I am once again unbelievably impressed with the integrity, professionalism, pre & post sales support, dedication and speed of Jet Solar.

In fact, I am once again so impressed that I have already begun planning phases 3 and 4 of my solar/battery system upgrades for the next 2 financial years.
