Former student is designer. Thorough quoting process with future issues imputed in the design.
Total of 3 Options for the Quote took 10 days. Happy with choices and advice. Installation prompt and reasonably tidy. Claire from ITP was attentive and prompt with all enquiries.20 December 2017

Original Review on 26-04-2017:
ITP is run by a group of engineers in Canberra who were able to offer practical advice without any sales pitch.8 months later we asked This person: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
yes14 June 2017
The installers were prompt and reliable, they communicated well and are very approachable.
Thank you ITP Home Energy!
A disaster from beginning to end
The quoting process was OK. I paid the deposit in May 2020 and the first set of solar panels were installed in January 2021! The rest of the installation dragged on through May of 2021, though it was never completed. The system has never worked properly, and has never been certified (not that it would have passed certification if it were inspected - nothing has been labelled). Some more work was done in 2022 and that was the last we heard from ITP. Tesla have tried emailing them, and received no response, either. In March this year the neutral cable in the Tesla gateway burned out, rendering the whole system non-functional. Several electricians have come to site since, as I try to get this fixed, and the common response from all of them has been that only one of the four inverters has ever worked (one appears to have been damaged during installation and two are "DC wired incorrectly"). All wiring from the MB to the inverters needs to be replaced, because it is undersized.
The system is being torn out next week, and replaced with new equipment. We hope that the Tesla batteries can be salvaged, but we won't know until a new gateway is installed.
