Efficient Istaller

after the initial inconvenience we establish a rapport, he also had a sense of humour. Yes, he did most of the technical procedures to organise grid connection an demonstrate the operation of the system. He also helped me to instal the app for ESS Monitoring.

Zak worked with us over a month to ensure that the system met our requirements. He answered all our questions and enhanced our understanding of the system and how it would work. The proposed installation was modified twice to ensure that it met our requirements. So easy to organise an extra battery.

I was well informed by Patrick of all the details and pricing to have an additional battery installed. I was kept up to date on when the installation would go ahead. I was contacted be the installer, Rick, who was able to answer any questions about the installation. When Rick came he was able to install the extra battery in good time and left everything as it was before hand. I am very happy with my extra battery.

A job well done with good integrety from start to finish

I contacted Ryan after we had another Solar company talking us into a battery for our existing solar system. Something didn't seem right, so I found Green.com online the next day and filled in an enquiry form within no time. The phone rang, and the gentleman introduced himself as Ryan. I told Ryan what I was looking for, and he sent me a quote for an Alpha Smile 5 13.38Kw battery, the same battery system the other company was trying to sell us. I was pleasantly surprised when Ryan sent the quote, as it was 1/2 of the cost that I was quoted. I rang Ryan back to make sure all was correct, and Ryan said it was, and he was on the road as he was going away for the weekend. Ryan contacted me over the weekend to ensure all my questions were answered. Nothing was too much trouble for Ryan. Ryan was never pushy, as was the last company. Ryan stayed in touch right through to the installation, and the installers were all very polite and always pleasant.
A few days later, I rang Ryan with questions about the system's workings. Ryan said he will get back to me with some more info for me. A few minutes later, the phone rang, and it was a guy called Max Green's engineer loverly guy who answered all my questions and then some. Then Ryan rang back to see how it all went.
About two months later, after moderating the system, I rang Ryan with a question about our existing panels, as they all were facing NE, and the afternoon sun fell off them early in the afternoon. I was wondering if it might be beneficial to put up more panels facing Westerly. Ryan sent through a quote for nine panels 4Kw and was pleasantly surprised at the deal Ryan offered us and agreed to it.
Again, Ryan stayed in contact throughout the whole process, and Ryan even checked in after the installation of the panels.
Ryan and the whole green company treated us like family from start to finish, and in this day and age, that is a rarity.
We want to thank Ryan and the team at Green for making my wife and I feel like family and important to them.

Well That Was Easy

After a reasonable time procrastinating we finally decided to dive into the solar battery pond. We've had our solar panels for just about 5 years. The time seemed right for our family situation. The quoting and sales process with Green.com was reassuringly simple. Our sales person (Daniel) was exceptionally polite and helpful. We're in Victoria (I know, right?) and unfortunately didn't qualify for the government's interest-free loan. No problem. Green found another interest-free solution. We had to come up with a larger deposit but that also suited our situation. Green's communication and service was second to none.

The installation went ahead without any problems as well. Rick, the installer, was very helpful and was happy to pass on a few tips and explain what all the parts were. All was connected and the system has been working rather well for about a week...with the crazy Melbourne weather we've had.

I'd certainly not hesitate in recommending Green.com to help find a solar battery solution for others.

Fantastic Experience

Nearly two years ago Theo now known as Green installed an 8kw solar system for us. We have been happy with the system but our bills have started to creep up so when Patrick from Green called to see if we might be interested in a battery we were willing to listen. Patrick sent a detailed quote and said he’d follow up with us after the weekend to see if we had any questions. We were happy with the quote Patrick answered our questions so we went ahead.
With in days Ashalee contacted us to start the process. A week and a half later Daniel and his team arrived at 7am they were a friendly polite team of young men. Daniel was friendly and assisted me in registering the battery and installing the app he took the time to explain what we were looking at.
The whole process was smooth. I would highly recommend Green for solar and batteries.

Exceeds all our expectations

I first approached Green.com.au after reading reviews through Solar Quotes. From my first phone call to Green.com.au I was impressed. Jack explained everything to me in a way I could understand. No matter how many questions I had, he answered respectfully & patiently. I was given a number of options relating to the system & in the end decided on the REC solar panels, Sungrow Inverter & batteries.
Simon Lienesch & his team installed the system. I cannot fault their work ethics, attention to detail & willingness to explain things to me.
I’ve had the system up & running for a couple of days. The panels were fully powering the house & feeding into the battery on a cloudy morning at 6.30am! It far exceeds my expectations.

Effortless process to a great result

Abby from sales was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Abby had our system designed and quoted within 24 hours. The quote was very competitive. The install was booked in for three weeks later. The installers arrived on the scheduled day, were polite and respectful (no mess left behind!) and a day and half later the system was up and running.

All in all a very well organised and effortless process, and we couldn't be happier with the result.

The Green Company as a whole were very good in all manner of speaking.

How was the sales/quoting process? ---> Jack Lucas was our contact, he looked after us very well he was quick, if any problems came up, he easily dealt with them therefore no complaints from us.

How did the installation go? ---> Straight forward, no hiccups. Polite? ---> Every person that we dealt with, had great manners. Tidy? ---> Yes. Punctual? ---> Yes. James and his team were the best. (Especially James.)

How was the customer service? ---> Very Good. Did they help organize the grid connection after the install, or show you how to use the charger? ---> Yes - James looked after us very well.

Sungrow battery and Hybrid Inverter added to solar panels by Green December 2024

Daniel from sales was pleasant, asked my needs, informative and obliging in matching another Sungrow battery quote I had.
Initial installation was prompt, punctual and the contractor was polite however a small problem with WiFi dongle was very quickly rectified by Ashlee & Graham in Customer Service, once I finally made correct contact, seems I was emailing the wrong department (Bridge Select).
I was already grid connected with solar panels in March 2023 by Teho now Green.
I have no hesitation in recommending Green for all your Solar needs, competitively price, well organized from start to finished. All phone contact was dealt with in a very positive manner.

Fantastic Solar & battery installation

Great sales team very knowledgeable and helpful for configuration of system needed , amount of Panels and battery size required Quote was very competitive and prompt was very happy to sign on with Green .com .au
Install date was organised very quickly and installers were very polite and helpful, friendly answered many questions I had they explained all procedures of the install.
Grid connection was organised which was promptly done by the Inspector before the allotted 10 working days , so I was rapt in getting to pump solar back into the grid early

Green Review

I was introduced to Green via Auto Expert: John Cadogan. I had been reviewing solar solutions for several months and found that many companies could not meet my requirements. Abby from Green was fantastic to deal with and prepared a Solar solution (with all my requirements) and quote within 24 hours. Their panels, inverters and batteries are in the top 1-2 brands in Australia for reliability, features and value. Green removed and disposed of our old 3.2 kwh solar system. They inspected my roof and replaced any broken or cracked tiles during the solar panel installation. Many Solar companies will only silicone cracked and broken tiles, (repaired tiles will fail within 5-10 years). The solar system has blackout protection and extra modules can be added to the battery in the future. The installation team were friendly and efficient. There was no damage to our property and the work area was left in a spotless condition. The installation team fully explained all aspects of the new Solar System. The iSolarCloud App is fantastic and monitors all the power generation and consumption of our home.

The installers did a great job installing the system. They were friendly and appeared to love their job. There was an obvious element of passion throughout the team and it's no surprise this company is right at the top in terms of their reputation!

Zombie apocolypse proof

Abby made everything simple. The system designed by Abby was cognisant of my needs and the cost was competitive. The system Green installed was done with great professionalism and everything was explained both before work commenced, and during the installation. The Green post-installation service has been exemplary with checks to see if I am happy with the systems and lots of relevant documents were sent relating to the system its care user manuals, etc. With the app, I can monitor exactly what my system is doing. With the battery, I rarely use grid-supplied energy and I love that I can use electricity when the grid is down. During installation, the originally planned approach for the location of the panels was found not to work, but the revised arrangement means I am generating power with a lower total peak capacity but instead have more usable power generation throughout the day with panels on the eastern side generating power from early morning. I am very impressed with Green, the recommended components, installation, and follow-up care are very different from my first solar panel install experience of 20 or so years ago and I highly recommend the company and the products they sell and install.

Battery installation

Reaching out to Green was a simple process from enquiry to installation.
Tate who organised the quote was very helpful in knowledge, advice and suitability.
Ashley whom organised the installation booking was also very helpful.
The electrician who attended was great, very tidy and polite.
All round I had a great experience with everything involved and the system has worked perfectly from day one. Even organised Ausnet to attend and certify the install. In fact they turned up the two days later.

Exceptional Overall Experience | New Solar Install + Tesla Powerwall 3

We chose to engage Green for our new solar system install after shopping around with quotes. Jack from Green was by far the most professional of the suppliers, and we landed on a fair price.

Jack and the team were very responsive to our questions in the lead up to the installation.

I had a referral through family to try Green (formerly Teho) for installing two new solar batteries. I already had quotes and past experience with other solar firms, however Ryan Towle from Green.com.au was always ahead of the game, with fast comparisons, ROI calculations, and super competitive pricing. Green from the first contact to completion of the installation of my 9.6kw panel and battery solar system was a great experience. The customer service was local, easy to understand, friendly and knowledgeable with great follow up after the installation was complete.
The installers were punctual, efficient and completed the job promptly within about 6 hours including re-configuring my power board. They explained how to install and use the app.
Customer service followed up even after payment was completed.

Professional, reliable, hard working and on time

From the very first contact on 26th November 2024, via Auto Expert; John Cadogan, to the preparation of quote for the Solar and Battery Storage System - through to a fully installed, up-and-running system by the 12th December 2024; it has been an absolute pleasure to work with Green.com.au as they had no issue with making this small residential project successfully happen a least an hour and a half South of their head office in North Sydney.
In particular, from the get-go, I have had the best experience working with and being guided personally through the process by Shaun Andrews.

The Care Team have also been great, very courteous at communicating requirements for project progression, all done professionally without being unnecessarily disruptive.

I have great respect for the technicians who were my on-site installation crew; their diligence, determination and professionalism was impressive, not only to me, but also to another crew of contractors we had on site at the same time.
The installers worked hard throughout a very hot day and completed the installation to an expected professional standard, with minimal disruption to our household.

All the connection to grid and other related technical requirements were taken care of.

Today, I have two air conditioner's running. It's 37°C outside my window as I type this review and I'm sitting comfortably at 22°C with the storage Battery at 100% , the solar panels generating 8.1kw, sending 3.6kw to the house and 4.5kw to the Grid!!

Up and running well

The quoting process went well I knew what I was after and had been speaking to Daniel on another project when I decided to get a battery for my home.
Following deposit payment an installation date was agreed, and the guys arrive early on that date. They uncounted some technical issue on commissioning which required discussion with an offshore party before the issue was resolved, local advice not being available that day. The installers did leave the job without advising me how the system operated. I contacted Green on the following workday asking for operating details which was emailed to me within an hour
I have been using the app each day and also noting the import kWhr reading on our smart meter. I am impressed with the reduction of import and expect a very reduced energy account soon.

Stop the Bills go Green.Com.au

So after a week of using the Alpha ESS 26.64 KW battery and 6.6 KW solar from Green.com.au in Sydney with a fantastic service from all the team in and Ryan customer service and Peter the installation was amazing
And now on a hot weather day I can run the whole house air conditioning with out having any bills
The solar system runs in the day and the batteries for night time
So happy now that I have used Green.com.au to make this happen

Efficient Professional Installation

The sales/quoting process was efficient, plenty of information. The final confirmation was later than I would have liked on the Friday afternoon for a Monday installation.
The installer was professional and friendly, also punctual. He made sure that the installation site was permissible by contacting an inspector. He explained how to use the system and answered my questions. The installation is neat and tidy.
I am waiting for an inspection to be able to turn the system on, it tested OK.

Was installed while I was away .
I was meant to be billed after the nsw rebate came in , but things took a turn from there .
Green estimated rebate, without the relevant information and billed me early .
Now the information is available and I have had 3 other rebates priced well above what Greens estimate was.
Still in dispute .
In my opinion - the product looks a bit unfinished, even possibly dangerous. See photos

A great experience for Green

So the quote from Green was the best between two different companies and I got the biggest battery size of 26.68kw
Which was the size which I needed for my house.

And good for a blackout if it happens which will run power points and lights for a long time.

Installation was along day because of not being able to put more meters and switches in my home power board which is 63 years old. So Peter had his work cut out for him.But he did a great job.

So the Customer Service team was very helpful and organised grid connection and was happy with my payment method which helped me out.

Trustworthy partner for solar

Very happy with Green as our solar installation partner. We spent a lot of time talking to Abby before deciding to commit to Green and she was very knowledgeable it talking through the options and was honest about the size of system we would need. I was going to get a battery but given the NSW incentive which were announced during the sales process this was deferred to ensure the rebate was received. Given I am on a development of townhouses, Green were open to the townhouse owners acting as a group to obtain additional group discounts.
Installation process was smooth and done in a day. Communication was good and I was kept informed of the progress and the requirement to change the panel configuration.

Good solar design...

Great solar install, installer, and system. However no manuals or guides or introduction to system.

Heat Pump Install. Better off getting your local plumber for this. Stated we did not need the manual or know how to operate (later found a discarded copy in the mud near heater which we used to log in to the heater). No integration to solar even thou the heat pump has this capability and was a design request. No saddles etc on the cu piping. Base is much smaller than tank etc. The cu pipe is much smaller than the old system so now lose all water pressure in shower if someone else uses hot water. Like I said great solar but get a plumber to do plumbing.

Great service all the way through

Sales /quote process was excellent - Janice was very helpful and thorough in providing a tailored quote & projected savings after analysing my current power usage and what my goals were for energy saving.
Install team were punctual, polite, tidy and even replaced / removed some roof tiles broken by previous trades. Install date was easily arranged to suit my preferred day and within a couple of weeks from quite acceptance.
After sales service was also excellent, keeping me informed of the compliance/safety inspection and power switch-on, and also helping to resolve interface issues with an existing battery and gateway that was connected to the new system
Daily power generation has been great to see on the monitoring system.

Fantastic End to End

From the initial consultation, to the rough in during our build and the installation almost a year on, the team at Green have been awesome!
Nothing was too difficult, always following up to see how our build was going, never frustrated by the delays, we couldn't be happier with our choice to have Green take us on our solar journey.
