Personal service with confidence

It all started at the office from Ann not just a sales pitch but a lot of knowledge from this special lady she knew everything about the different strengths of solar and what’s suitable for your home. Then from there Mo and Richard came and did the installation with so much confidence especially Richard the installer knows about roofing that you’ll appreciate there will be no broken tiles or bad holes left in your roof.The installation took a day and the outcome from the boys as a team was very impressive from start to finish.

Mo is the electrician/director so he had made sure everything ran smoothly and I knew by dealing with a director I will be happy that nothing will be bad afterwards. I chose green solar energy for the personal service not like a big company that you don’t know what kind of installer you’re going to get on the day.Thank you so much for your services and my recommendations will be from the heart. well done

5 star company

Quoting process was great through Ann and after many questions on the options we proceeded with one of the system quotes. Communication was great all the way through. Install day, team were on time and did an amazing job with a neat installation, removal of antenna/satellite and relocation of light tubes. They even cleaned the gutters and left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived. The system was up and running that afternoon and is generating peak power by about 9am with generation starting at 6am.

Ann the gem, but overall great service from all

Ann was our 1st point of contact. She is very knowledgeable about solar and if she did not know, she would get back to you with the correct install. Solar is not easy and I had a lot of questions and she was very patient.

Richard and Mo installed the system and it was very tidy and overall was great.

Price wise, slightly cheaper than other companies for the same system.

I would recommend them.

Great and experienced installers with reasonable price

The installation of the system was great. They are very experienced with roofing, and installation of the solar panels.
They also upgraded my switchboard with whole installation costs on the same quote such that I could use finance all of it, which was excellent.
There was a bit of delay from installation of the panels to when they upgraded the switchboard, but it didn’t prevent me from using the solar system from when they did the installation of the solar system.
So, I definitely recommend them!

Excellent experience

Expert in knowledge and install with amazing customer service

From the very beginning, Anne was never pushy to sell anything, she educated me about the different brands and solutions for my house even changing the quotes many times at my requests.
Then came Richard to do a site check to ensure the quote can be executed and my system will work effectively, it turned out a few panels were no good to install as I will not get much sun over those.
Both Richard and Anne were very honest with me about this instead of keep going with the initial quote which I had agreed to.In the end I paid less, only for the panels that actually will work..
Installation days were smooth as well. Richard, Jude and Mo took care of everything. Solar panels were installed neatly without mess.
I highly recommend the Green Solar Energy team!

Don't look any further, Green Solar Energy are the real deal.

I'll be succint and to the point. They reached out to me with the phone call on the same day when I submitted my request. We had a long and informative conversation about what my requirements were and what were the ways to meet them, and shortly I was provided with three different options to choose from, all for a reasonable price.

Once I made up my mind about the system I wanted, we arranged a site visit, where a technician inspected the roof, and made final suggestions to amend the original proposal to account for potential shading and string sizes.

On the insallation day the team of three showed up and proceeded to work right away. Given the size and the complexity of the system in my particular case, as well as the shorter day length in May, they pulled off a miracle to be able to finish before the sunset. I never noticed anyone taking a break or doing anything at all not related to the work at hand.

At the end of the day I was left with a fully connected system, with all the rubbish taken off site, and the basic functionality explained to me in as much detail as I needed to fully understand it.

If you are going through all the reviews and you read up to this point, I can tell you to stop looking any further. Go with Green Solar Energy and you won't regret it.

Great quote and great installation

Ann was the first one to give me a quote on the solar system and she also given a good advice on different types of panels and inverters.
Richard is polite and professional and he gone through the process of the installation on the pre installation day.
The install team was also very professional and arrived on time and worked through the dark and Mo finalised the grid connection the next day.
Customer service before and after is too notch and highly recommended.

Green Solar Energy review

The quote process took a very positive turn when the PreInstall engineer and provided insights into the technology and the plan to install. The preinstall engineer (Richard) also replaced some broken tiles he noted on the roof.

The Install was also very professional - the team arrived on time and worked through some poor weather conditions to complete as much as possible before dark. Also keen not to disturb neighbours after 5pm and came back next day to complete (the connection Inverter TO panels ).

The install only completed today - The engineer installing advised the organisation would arrange grid connection ( by Energy Australia ) and the retailer would contact me within a week- 10days.

Great install, great pre-sales sxperience

Quoting process was seamless and accurate, no trouble to adjust to changing requirements. The installation team were on-time, professional, fast, and gave good advice on the day for slight changes to alignment and arrangement based on issues not obvious from the satellite photos. Really pleased with the outcome.

Great system and really good people

The quoting process was good with all 3 installers very responsive and helpful. Regretfully I didn't realise that a 6.6Kw installation can only provide a maximum 5Kw due to the capacity of the inverter.

The installation went very well, they even moved one of my twirly birds on the roof to allow for a more efficient panels layout and replaced a faulty circuit breaker in my switchboard at no extra cost. I also chose to pay extra for the installation of pests and leaves mesh around the panels.

We organised our own the replacement of the electricity meter and grid connection with Origin Electricity. Original ratings

My wife and I have been very happy with the performance of the solar system installation, from the start we've also been using most appliances, such as dishwasher, washer/dryer, pool pumps, etc. during the day when the power is provided by our solar system and seen the big difference.

Quality service and installation!

The communication and professionalism of Ann was top shelf. Her knowledge and advice on setting up solar for my home was exceptional. I sought 3 quotes from different companies. Green Solar Energy provided the best advice and were prompt with answering my queries. They had a detailed itemised quote and were by far the best price.

Fantastic Installer.

Received our quote quickly and everything was explained so that we understood what our options were and what we were purchasing.

Installation was quick, easy and painless. They were very professional and kept us informed.

Customer service is great. Jen is fantastic. She helped us through the entire process and very patiently answered all our questions. She organised everything. I called AGL and was told everything was all organised and sorted. Jen also followed up to ask how things were running a few weeks after installation.

Amazing knowledgable team and quality workmanship

What a great experience end to end with Green Solar Energy! Let me share my experience:

Quotation time
Ann was the person I dealt with from the start. She was very professional knowledgable and responsive with questions and changes to quotation. She took time to explain the products, recommend options, etc, Yet she was not pushy to close out a sale, but allowed time for my decision. That was when you know Ann and Green Solar Energy are trustworthy. I would confidently say that she is a brand ambassador for Green Solar Energy.

Inspection and pre-installation
Not many companies nowadays do a pre installation inspection. When asked, Ann said "of course". Richard did the inspection and pre installation planning. He really knew his stuff and passionate about his work. He was very articulative of how he was going to do the installation. Another boost to confidence that the job would be well done.

Installation day
Richard, Mo and an assistant attended the job early in the morning. What a team. No nonsense approach and just got the job done which was exactly needed on a 38° day. The outcome was exactly how they had described previously. The workmanship was excellent.

Recommendation
The best to say this is "Q: If I need another solar installation, would I go with Green Solar Energy? A: Absolutely!". Keep up with the good work!!!

Trifecta in solar system: Best Inverter: Best Panel: The Best and Excellent Installer.

From the very first call for a quotation, I was impressed. The customer service consultant (Ann) was very quck, knowledgable, efficient and trustworthy. I didn't feel pressured during the quotation process. Because i did my
research and homework, and everything, I know what system, inverter and panel etc. What Ann did was explained everyting to me whats the advantage and disadvantage and prices and i was satisfied. From very complicated questions to the most stupid questions, she never hesitate to answer them even when she was in another call, she answered my call and call me back with an answer.
On the day of installation it was sunny and hot. The team started early led by Mo The Electrician who was very quiet, reserve and very professional, any question i asked him, he simply explained and answered it in laymans terms.
Richard his assistant was very nice to talk to and knows what he was doing. Jude the youngest in the team came
last but never fooled around just work, work till lthey finshed the job. they are polite, tidy, and punctual. I even told
richard to leave something for me to clean and he just laughed. They started at around 8am and finished around 3pm.
Mo help me with the monitoring system installed to my phone and even advised me to have my meter change fron the
old one to a new 3phase smart meter. By the time the team left the property, my system already producing energy.
That was my best experience so far the this company and its people. Green Solar Energy.
Very highly recommended, can't go wrong..
Its now almost two months since the installation and i'm happy and satisfied with this system. it is simply producing.

Genuine installer that cares

Sales/Quoting:

I had received quotes from several installers but none of them bothered to provide me with options to choose from.

When I contacted Green Solar Energy, Ann was very professional and knowledgeable. She provided me with 3 options that I can choose from. Upon reviewing the quotes, we made several revisions and Ann was quick to respond with the updated quotes.

Green Solar Energy's sales/quoting process was quick, knowledgeable and the prices are very competitive compared to other installers.

Installation:

Before installation, Richard came out and inspected the property and gave me honest feedback that I didn't require additional panels due to the location (it had some shades in the afternoon) which meant it would put my panels out of warranty. This was great to hear and we took his expert advice and we received a revised quote from Ann.

On the day of the install, the team including owner Mo was onsite and did a great job. No tiles were broken and the team completed the job by 3pm. The team cleaned up after and left the place clean.
It was good to deal with in house installers as everyone knew exactly their roles on the day.

Customer service / after care:

After the system was up and running, I can see our production and consumption through the app and I'm very happy with the system we purchased. There was a minor error showing on the app re a meter issue, but this was resolved when Mo attended the site again to fix the issue.

I'm very happy with the PV system purchased and I highly recommend Green Solar Energy.

Great service from sales through to installation

Ann from Green Solar was very patient listening to my requirements, explaining various options and revising the quote several times. Their final price was also the most competitive. Installation took one day for Mo and his team who were friendly and clearly well experienced. There was a problem with the Enphase Envoy box so Mo came back a coupe days later to replace that. Have been enjoying my free electricity every since and very happy with the result. Will be recommending Green Solar to my family for their homes.

Very helpful and top quality customer service

The team at Green Solar Energy were very helpful throughout the entire process especially for someone who has little knowledge about solar and how it all works.

From the very beginning the the experience was great because it didn't feel like I was being sold anything and left it to me to decide without pushing me unlike some other solar companies out there. It was also great to see that they took the time to understand my needs and my specific property to provide a more detailed quote. We had a few iterations of the quotes to adjust things such as switching from single to three phase power and also looked at options using micro inverters vs string inverters. During this time Green Solar Energy were happy to assist with providing alternative quotes.

The customer service we experienced during the installation of the panels was fantastic and completly professional. We were working from home during the installation and the installers were very mindful of the noise during certain hours of the day and they were keeping us updated on their progress throughout.

All in all the experience was wonderful and would definately recommend to others.

We went for the Best

This was our third look at getting solar in three years and this time we were determined to make an informed decision.

We got the impression that some companies just wanted to flog us what they had bought in bulk.

Everything from start to finish with Green Solar Energy was excellent. Anne in the office explained things in great detail and with patience. She was very knowledgeable. Each step of the way there were emailed instructions so we knew what to expect.

Richard came out and spent two hours checking out our roof before we made our decision. His feedback was invaluable and led to us making our decision.

When installation came it was all done as planned. Richard, Mo and the boys did a fantastic job and our system is better than we expected. Everything was explained in the hand over and I’m sure if any issues arise in the future that they will be there to help.

I would highly recommend the team at Green Solar Energy to anyone looking for Solar.

Professional efficient installation

Green Solar was everything you want from tradespeople: good communication, friendly, not a hard sell, good price, professional, tidy and clearly caring and competent. There was notably a massive geographical price difference between them and the 3 companies Solar Quotes recommended. Green Solar were Platinum recommended but simply from Sydney's west and not east. 10 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

The system has outperformed our expectations in that we don't pay for any electricity (or service) at the moment at all. With the feed-in tariffs, in summer we generate credit (we built that up to about $400 over summer and autumn) and it looks like the first winter bill will be about $150 debit, so we'll still have remaining credit. Eventually when we can afford an electric car, it will eat into this production, but overall the system is clearly a no-brainer financially, provided it stays reliable.

Oh one last note - we did end up having to replace the main board (asbestos) and street connection because we found the line up to the attachment point was only 6mm (upgraded to 25mm now). That cost $2500, but that's got nothing to do with the panels/inverters, just a typical legacy of a 60s house which prospective owners should look out for. All the quoting solar installation companies had remarked on it.

Good solar company

I had a pleasant experience dealing with Ann and the installers recently. Ann was patient to come back to me with different solar options and and was friendly to answer all the questions I had. We had to get our rusted metal roof replaced first which took about 4 weeks and Ann was happy to keep the quoted price for me. The installers were professional and came on time (Richard was actually at our place by 7am instead of 7.30). Mo, the electrician/owner did the electrical work without any issues and he submitted the paperwork within a day or two as agreed. Good overall experience!!

Quality system installed at great price

Fantastic customer service by Ann. Never pushed for making a decision. Answered all my questions, was happy to run various quotes and also suggest shade for inverter given it gets direct sunlight so that Warranty doesn't void. Some quotes that I received from other providers were quite high and perhaps would have never been able to even come close to the quote I received from Green Solar Energy. Installation was done by Mo and his team and they were fantastic as well - they spent the whole day installing on my roof given that winters have short daylight hours and I installed a 13 kW system.

Good supplier

Too early to tell on the production of the system or the quality of the installation but Green Solar Energy provided the best value quote and system. They actually listened to my requests and provided a quote based exactly on my request. They didn’t send me a generic quote that I had to ask them to amend to my requests like other suppliers. They answered any questions I had, no matter how small or silly they may have been. At no point did I have to chase them for a response and they were never pushy with their sales tactics.

Value to money and installer did a good job

Sales/quoting process - Fast response to the email and call, and proactive following up for my questions.

Installation - Installers are polite, tidy and punctual, nothing I can complain about.

Customer service? - During the sales/quoting process, the sale lady promised will organise a grid connection after the installation. I sent an email and called (they didn't pick up) to follow up if they have already gotten in contact with my electricity and also asked that my electricity company told me to turn the solar system off before the smart meter installation. Because this didn't mention during the sale/quoting process, I thought I like to clarify if that is the case, however, I didn't get any reply from them. Therefore, I'm not so sure how good the company's after-sale service is.

In regards to the reply for the organisation of your meter, I have replied to your email in a very lengthy reply on 31st January as to how the process works and what to do.Please check, it may have gone to another folder (such as spam/junk) as we had recent nbn upgrade in the area it may have affected emails temporarily.In regards to the missed call , I am always in the office (apart from lunch time) , I apologise if the phone call was not picked up, I may have been on a call or at lunch.I have since called you and now things are sorted and clarified I hope you will be happy with the service we provide and we are always here at call to answer any queries you may have.We want all our customers to be happy with our service, we do offer a very fast efficient service, so I hope that gives you confidence with our company.

A no stress installation

Sales/Quoting: I dealt with a very patient and knowledgeable Individual, her name was Ann. The process was smooth even though I asked many questions sometimes more than once. Ann, was very informative, polite and had a very good listening ear. The result was a quote that I was satisfied with.
Installation: There was a team of four (4). All were polite, helpful and friendly. They just got on with job with what seemed very little prompting. I heard no swearing. They seemed to enjoy each other's company as there was some friendly banter.
When job was completed, although very tired from the day's work and a very warm day, the site was cleaned and left in a tidy condition. Which was very pleasing.
Punctuality: The time quoted for start was 8.00 am; the site supervisor was on site at about 7.30 am. The team was on site by about 8.00 am.

Great solar installer

Very pleased with my 10.25kW solar system installation by the friendly, experienced team at GSE. Prompt, accurate quotes that reflected customer needs. Well-timed pre-install site visit and installation day, job completed professionally in one day with live system activation. Looked after all documentation incl. paperwork for my electricity retailer. Good communication throughout. Well done Mo, Richard, Ann and the team. Highly recommend!

A great provider that made everything super easy

From the initial call for a sales request, I was impressed. The customer service (Ann) was quick, efficient and trustworthy; I did not feel pushed during the quoting process. Our house has three levels and a substantial height. Whilst most Solar vendors I interacted with (including the three nominated by Solar Quotes) focused on sales and only committed to managing challenges later with additional cost, the Green Solar Energy staff, Richard, visited the house twice to discuss options, challenges and mitigations upfront.

The installation was even better! The team (led by Mo - the owner) were wonderful, courteous and understanding. The work was efficient, and the team communicated effectively. The install team went above and beyond to install and improve our setup. Whilst it is too early to talk about after-sales services, I would recommend Green Solar Energy wholeheartedly to anyone.

In addition to the panels and inverter, they also installed the EV charger. The overall installation was super clean and neat.
