Fantastic installation.
I’m very very happy with green energy. Have already recommended to other people. Nothing was too much trouble on installation. Neat and tidy. Top job ?30 May 2024
Overall very positive
Quoting process was easy and the team were very helpful.Install occurred over two days, I had opted for a catch relay. Unfortunately, my installer had not installed one of these before and was unaware of the monitoring monocle and told me it only controlled the hot water or other designated loads. I told him it did and actually did the job of an inverter monitoring device. He did not believe me and consequently I have paid for the proprietary monitor with the sun grow inverter as well. I still am only using the icloud app, which is fine. I am a bit disappointed that the installer didn’t understand the product he was installing especially when this info is readily available on the net.
I received the starter pack which was helpful.
System been in for two weeks, works great.
Overall good experience, let down by unfamiliarity of component supplied.

Easy to deal with
The salesman was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I was after quality components and felt I got exactly what I wanted. Yesterday's installation was quick and there were no problems. The installer spent a good time explaining all aspects of the installation and what to expect in the coming weeks and years. Overall we are very happy and look forward to seeing the financial benefits over the coming years.27 April 2024

Ryan was on the all with the quote and Jacob and the team were great with the install.10 months later we asked Craig: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The battery capacity is my only issue, I can odd more modules to it so will be looking into that.

Fantastic and Neat Install
Fantastic and neat install, good customer service, communication can be hit and miss depending on who you get, but overall is very good.The major letdown is the sales reps not really knowing what they are talking about, we had quite the saga getting an "off-grid" capable battery system, we have constant power outages where we are, so we wanted something capable of whole house backup, which was known by the original sales rep but they sold us a solar system that was not really compatible with the direction we wanted to go, but that's my bad for not doing my own comprehensive research.
After the 3rd sales rep gave up on us, they flicked us over to one of their experienced installers for us to explain what we our requirements in a battery system was.
The installer listened to what our expectations from a battery was and managed to get a quote back to us with a detailed description of how it was all going to work within a few days.
We finally got a battery system that was exactly what we wanted, just needed to talk to the right person with the right knowledge and experience. (This is the difference between someone that sells the system to someone that actually has experience with it)
We got a Selectronic 7.5 Kw inverter with 20kWh of PowerPlus Eco Batteries which gives us whole house backup, not just an off the shelf Powerwall that was not going to meet our needs and to boot we can add extra batteries if we need to in the future.
After running they system for about 5 months we put another 2 batteries in to give us 28kWh which sees us through a hot summer night now, we ended up buying them from a different company as the price quoted by Green Energy Technologies was over double the cost from elsewhere, which I found disappointing as we had already spent around 45k with them up until this point.
Overall, I would give installation & installers a 10/10, customer service & after sales support a 9/10 and sales reps a 2/10.
Would I buy another system from them, more than likely I would, as a quality installation and knowledgeable installers trumps a sales team that only knows what they read in the brochure in my opinion.

Highly recommend
Easy to understand and informative quoting process.Installation went ahead earlier than initially planned, which was exactly what I had asked for if the possibility arose.
The guys who did the install were professional, very polite and the end job was 5 star.
Customer service before, during and now after installation has been 2nd to none, I couldn't be happier and only regret not seeking out solar sooner.

Great Service
Each of the installers that quoted were really good, being clear and informative and all prices quoted were pretty much similar. The only reason we went with Green Energy Technologies was because they elected to put our system on the carport roof with strengthened rails. The other 2 installers quoted for the system to go on the home's decramastic roof. With decramastic rooves being lightweight, and prone to cracks and dents we were concerned if there was a leak, that it would be a costly exercise to repair.GET installers and sales person were punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable allowing for an enjoyable experience.

Seamless and professional
Bree explained the entire process in language we could understand, she assessed our power needs and then recommended a system. Once we agreed to go ahead the rest of the planning and installation proceeded. We had to wait a couple of months but the installers arrived yesterday and I could not fault them. Solar experience
Green energy technologies was one of the suppliers sent to me by solar quotes.I found the service very friendly and helpfully , all the way from the initial contact by Ryan, installation by Jarryd and the follow up re solar rebates/grid connection from Ergon by the lovely ladies headed by Rhiannon, I have had the install for a month and everything is working perfectly.

Solar Journey - a pleasant experience
Sales / Educational process was great with Bree - as she didn't get frustrated when I kept coming back with more questions. I wasn't going to be rushed into making a decision - others were pushing for a commitment from day 1!Installation is still ongoing (awaiting commissioning) install came forward by 2 weeks from original expected date. Team of 6-8 people made everything happen very quickly.
Only complaint is that they told me the power would be off for 20-30min ... in actual fact it ended up being 2.5 hrs - would have preferred to know & would have planned it better.

Professional team, well laid out system to suit our needs
The system we purchased from green energy certainly wasn’t the cheapest however Kelly the sales person was prompt, up front, when their were some potential issues raised regarding our proposed installation Kelly along with one of there senior techs came out promptly and discussed the issues etc with a good resolution, another factor we judged as important was their installation teams are not sub contractors but all employees of green energy, the installation was carried out in a professional manner, would be happy to recommend them to others, kind regards markInverter rating: 5/5

Fantastic service
I feel I got a fair deal for a mid range system that should see me out for 10 to 15 years. Installation went well. They were clean, tidy and on time. Everything was well planned and executed. Quick and efficient
Quoting polite and informativeInstallation quick and efficient tidy and punctual also had to update meter box . Ergon did not approve and want Ergon meter moved to front of house. Installers are coming Friday 18th Jan to rectify . This was the only hassle.

Happy camper
Staff were friendly and courteous staff all the way through the process, worked through several quotes to get best option.Install team were great, work was good quality (system and switchboard upgrade) and moving panels to suit track of sun was not an issue.
Exceptional after sales support, needed to contact installer after hours about circuit breaker issue and it was resolved quickly.
Everything was explained post-install and grid connect all organised.
Ask about the 100 club as there are a few handy perks with it. This is a company building bridges with clients.
Have a local office in Townsville for peace of mind.

Confusing, complex and disappointing
They offered a system that would eliminate my power bill. Then we added extra panels, higher performance panels and a higher efficiency inverter. And I still get 75% of my original power bill.04 May 2019

I'm still hoping I've chosen well ,having read so much on SolarQuotes and feeling informed and going for REC panels and Fronius.8 months later we asked Troy: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
considering the amount of times the system specs changed and i had to keep resigning the contract. AND the Fronius inverter is the only thing that ended up matching the paperwork, the system is doing fine.I do stress when my batteries drop below 80% from forgetting to turn aircons off at dusk. Is great to have everything running and have full batteries on a sunny day.

I did have one small issue, when they changed the element in the Hot Water system so it does not draw too much power when converted to daytime heating, after 3-4 days a small leak appeared.I made a phone call to Sales Person (Shirlene) around 4.00 pm same day and at 5.45 same day Eben, the installer had come out and fixed it, all good.
So on that note I was massively impressed. I've managed to get 10 panels on the optimum side (North) and 8 panels on the East-East North side.
8 months later we asked Adrian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, I've dropped from around $700-$1000 previously with an average bill now of around $250, with a 5.2Kw system (18 x 275V Panels)Once I get some more moolah, I will be upgrading with extra panels, and if enough, certainly get the Battery System to go with it. :)
