Ashley has been working in the solar industry since 2009. Installing over 2,500 solar systems on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding areas. He and his team have a dedication to doing the work right the first time and providing quality products including being one of a small number of licenced battery installers in Australia.

Excellent
Ash and his team did a great job. They were flexible with the whole process of dismantling my old system and installing the new to accommodate a roof paint between old and new. Communication was great, we new exactly when they would arrive and and the whole process start to finish was great. Highly recommend Green Coast Solar.Inverter rating: 5/5

Professional, experienced installers
The whole process from meeting the installer, discussing what I needed and how that could be achieved, through the quotation, installation and subsequent follow up, has been very professional.The installation was performed a lot quicker than I expected and everything was left clean and tidy. They were happy to explain some of the process and show me what the battery and panels looked like prior to putting everything in place which made me feel confident in what I was getting as a product.
I have had a follow up on the installation to check how everything was going which I very much appreciate.
Still waiting for the results in using the solar system but am confident in what I have finally picked.
10 months later we asked Amanda: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system has gone way past my expectations. My family and work colleague suggested I take advantage of solar panels and a battery and thus far, I have not paid a bill for the usage and in fact I am way out in front cost wise.Added to that I use the Sungrow app which gives me a good indication of where I am at with my power, usage and what goes back to the grid.
I am grateful to the Solar Quotes website for all the information provided which helped me choose the product I am using. Thank you.

Good job at a competitive price
This was an additional install, the guys went about their business politely and effectively the job was finished by lunchtime, took away all their mess and the system has worked faultlessly ever since. The enlarged system hooked up with the battery and existing app without too much bother. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys .Inverter rating: 5/5

So glad we finally went Solar!
Ashley and Hannah were great to deal with answering questions and always available to check our understanding. Nothing was too much trouble!Installation was done in one day including a meter box upgrade! The installation team were very helpful and explained everything to us about how to use our installed system.

Comparable quote. Great service.
Easy quoting process- they come to your home at a time that suits you to personalise your quote. Fast installation. Tidy and punctual. Organised grid connection however at the time of writing this I am still awaiting grid connection 3 weeks post installation so I cannot comment on the products.22 September 2023

Excellent service
I recently installed a 6.6kW system. The process went smoothly from quote to installation. Ash spent the time going through the quote in great detail and returned again to check the roof and answer a couple of queries. The team arrived punctually to install and were very professional and courteous. I am very happy with the end product. Highly recommend Green Coast Solar.08 September 2023
Excellent TOTAL great experience
We had a 6.6 kw installed recently and we are very pleased with the service provided.The Manager came out to our our premises to advise aaccordingly. His product knowledge was excellant. Most Companies don't do that.The installers were very good workers and courteous

Great honest service
I felt very comfortable dealing with Green Coast Solar and Electrical.I am a big believer in supporting local companies especially a family owned business.
Right from the initial phone call to set up a quote to the installation day was a very smooth process.
Green Coast Solar came in well below the other quotes using the same products and warranties.
I would have no problem recommending Green Coast Solar and Electricial, they are a great team.

Quality install - Wish I had done this sooner!
I am so happy with the service and advice that Greencoast have delivered. I was really nervous going solar after hearing terrible stories from friends and neighbours.Greencoast tool the time to explain what was suitable for our needs and how we use our home. The crew installing it took great care during the installation, hiding what could be hidden and making sure our kids were safe and out of the way whilst the switchboard was being worked on.
My only regret is not finding Greencoast and committing sooner.

Fantastic customer service

Excellent Customer Service
Green Coast Solar and Electrical responded quickly to a request for a quote on a solar install. Hannah contacted me with the details of who would be coming and when it was suitable for me. Ash came out as arranged and answered any questions I had, checked the meter box and switchboard and advised on a best system for my purposes. The quote was competitive and the install was done very soon after acceptance. The install went smoothly and quickly, with the place left clean and tidy. Could not ask for more, highly recommended.

The whole process beginning to end was simple and quick.The sales rep arrived on time and gave a detailed quote for a quality system.

Very Pleased
I found the quote and site visit to be the best of the 6 I received and felt confident and not pressured to continue.The design was also the best and achieved all north facing panels, which non of the other quotes did.
I believe that the installation is of a good standard, albeit I am not experienced in solar install. The wiring is neat and tidy, there was no damage to my roof tiles and the panels are neatly fitted.
The service was quick, on time and helpful. It all went smoothly.

Great to deal with every step of the way
It was great dealing with Ashley and the team. Helps that he's an electrician made it easy to get a system that will work from quote to install with no surprises. He knew the technology well and it looks like a neat install.Ashley was on time when he visited to quote, updated me regularly with any correspondence. The team arrived on time for install which was only 1 or 2 weeks from the time I went ahead.

Great service
Very happy with the recent installation of an updated solar energy system.From quote to installation day all contact was prompt and well-explained. Email correspondence clearly outlined the steps we needed to take. Ashley talked us through a number of options that we could consider for our home.
Karen in the office was able to answer any follow-up questions.
On the day of installation, Ashley and his team worked efficiently and kept us informed of the work they were doing.
Also pleased that our old system was being recycled through a programme that Ashley supports.

Excellent work from quating to installation
I'd recommend Green Coast Solar to anyone who is looking for a solid solar installation. Unlike all those companies who advertise unbelievable cheap solar deals on facebook, Green Coast actually do a site inspection when quating for the job so there will be no nasty surprises and expensive variations on the day. The gear is tier one and my 7.6 kw system was installed in less then 6 hours including the removal of an old system and they also cleaned up cable ends etc... Ashley and his team and real professionals. Customer service was great during the order process and I am yet to need to contact them after the installation.20 November 2022
Top notch installer
SALES PROCESS:The quoting process was excellent. Unlike some installers, Ashley (the owner) and Marlin came in person. This gave me confidence as I got to have a face to face conversation with the people who’ll be doing the installation and not some unknown sub-contractors.
They came with 2 options, a 6.6kW and a 8kW system. Ashley actually recommend the smaller 6.6kW system after getting to know my usage and requirement. Ashley spotted my switch box needs to be relocated and being an electrician himself he was able to gave me a good price on the spot.
Green Coast wasn’t the cheapest quote I got; however, I felt they know their stuff and most importantly Ashley and Marlin were genuine. The price quoted was fair and there was still room for negotiation.
INSTALLATION:
The installation was top notch. Looked great. Ashley took care of the inverter and installed it in the garage as requested. Marlin was up on the roof with the panels. There was also an apprentice sparky there on the day. Because of the placement of the panels, my antenna had to be moved and Marlin was very happy to cater to my relocation requests and kept me informed all the way. Being a tiled roof, I was expecting ‘some’ tiles to break but I was pleasantly surprised that none were broken after the install.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Karen, who looks after administration, kept me informed throughout and did all the paperwork with the electricity company. Also I had some questions post the install and Ashley was more than happy to take my call and answered my questions.
I will do a follow up review in a few months’ time after I get my first bill.
Great salesperson, personable, friendly and not complicated.
Easy to understand, easy process, great customer service, efficient and no glitches at all.
