Excellent service - Quality products and workmanship

Goulburn Solar were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Andrew took the time during the initial meeting to understand our electricity patterns to ensure that an appropriately sized system was recommended. He was also thorough in explaining all product options to ensure that I could make an informed choice within my budget and wishes. The modelling provided during the quote process gave a realistic estimate of the generation capability when considering my roof layout and shading from a large tree on a neighbouring property.

After the quote was accepted the team conducted a physical site visit to ensure that all aspects in the quote were accurate and were able to provide additional panel layout recommendations to maximise positioning on the roof. Inverter and battery locations were also scoped during this visit.

On installation day, the team were highly professional and communicated well throughout the process to ensure that I was aware of when the electricity supply needed to be turned off and had expectations managed. The team arrived first thing in the morning and completed all work in a single day. As they had gained all approvals prior to installation and arranged for the meter to be swapped for a smart meter, the system was able to be switched on immediately after the install and started generating.

Goulburn Solar have continued to monitor the system post installation and have been in touch multiple times to provide assistance if required.

Great local solar installation and service for the Goulburn.

We highly recommend Goulburn Solar for the installation of solar panels, inverters and batterys. They do a great job and are a big asset to the solar industry throughout our region. We had Goulburn Solar install a 10Kw system (solar panels, inverter and battery) in October 2023 and had them return in March 2024 to install more panels and another battery for future proofing.

Goulburn Solar. A cut above the rest. Designed & delivered a great battery-system solution.

We have an existing 10kw system servicing a 3 phase property; looking for a dependable and capable provider to upgrade our system with batteries for day-to-day running and backup. Fortunately for us, we decided on Goulburn Solar to help us out. The team at Goulburn Solar are really a cut above the rest in terms of experience, system design, technical skill, know-how and customer service. Unlike the other solar providers in our area (some very large and reputable) Goulburn Solar took the time and really worked with us to design a solution that really works for us, whereas some others were just happy to provide a cookie-cutter solution (and in one case, choose to up-sell and provide us the most expensive solution). The system is operating like a dream and we couldn't be happier. We are so glad we did our homework and went a little further afield to find Goulburn Solar, who we know, will be there for us in the long run.

Excellent company and great installation

12 months ago I had Goulburn Solar install a solar system to my home that I am extremely happy with. I did not hesitate to get them to quote a Tesla Power wall recently. The quote was supplied quickly with ample details needed to help me make my decision and Richard was more than happy to answer any further questions I had. The equipment was ordered and a date set for installation. Dan and the team took care of the installation which was done in a day and everything that needed to be done was handled with professionalism by Goulburn Solar. Big shout out to Richard especially for the excellent customer service. Also these guys do all their own work by their own team (not subcontractors) which is great piece of mind. Highly recommended.

Great company to deal with from sales to installation.

Goulburn Solar are a great company to deal with. Professional and friendly staff from first contact right through to installation. There are many solar companies out there all competing for your business, but if you want a company that will sell you a quality product and still be there years after installation, then go to Goulburn Solar.

The whole experience is great, they take the time analyse your usage and recommend a system to suite your needs.

The installation process was handled with a lot of skill. Everything is done properly, the wiring is all neat and tidy and they explain the system to you before they leave. Their staff are friendly and most importantly, they're all employed by Goulburn Solar. You deal with the one company from sales to installation.

Before they leave, they help you download the system app and show you all the key features. I can monitor my system on a daily basis.

From the outset, Goulburn Solar impressed me with their professionalism and knowledge. The visit to their showroom was fantastic – the sales team were knowledgeable, patient, and talked me through all my options. They helped me design a system that perfectly fit my needs and budget, maximising value for money.

The quality of the system they recommended is top-notch. SunPower Performance panels, Enphase Microinverters, and a SunPower Reserve battery – it's a powerful combination that gives me peace of mind. I'm confident I'm getting the best possible performance and reliability. On top of all that, it has almost eradicated my electricity bill!

Now, let's talk about the installation itself. Given the unique layout of my roof, I was a little apprehensive, but the Goulburn Solar team completely allayed those concerns. The installers were polite, punctual, safe and incredibly tidy. They worked efficiently and left the job site spotless. It was clear they take great pride in their craftsmanship.

The entire project, from the initial quote to the final installation, was managed seamlessly. Happy solar customers

Purchased a 17kW system and was installed late March of 2023.
The first initial contact my husband and i had with Goulburn Solar was a consultation in the showroom. We found this very informative to be able to physically see what products and gear we were getting quoted.
When it come to the day of the install one of the team members had knocked on the door to make us aware of what is going to happen and if they will need to turn the power off.
For us oldies we felt supported as we aren't very tech savvy for our monitoring as we also got 2 batteries installed.

Overall felt very comfortable with all the work.

Knowledgeable, professional, reputable and honest with quality equipment.

Purchased a 7.8kW system featuring sunpower panels. On doing my own research i was glad to see there was no "second hand car salesmen" tactics. The information on the panels and inverter was all honest, upfront and clearly explained.
The install was done very efficiently with safety gear, the in house team with no contractors was a nice touch also. They all seemed to take pride in their work and know their roles very well.
The head installer also talked everything through with my partner in my absence and follow up contact from the sales team and other electricians to make sure our install was working as intended was a welcome cherry on top.

All paper work and anything was handled by the team. I literally got to enjoy a set up and installed package and see the savings start rolling in. YAY

Incredible team, Incredible product.

The great experience - from the first meeting to the installation !

It was a pleasure to go through all the processes of installing the solar system with the Goulburn Solar. The meeting was very informative, educational with plenty of advice and all our questions were answered honestly. The team was in contact with us from the start and despite the horrible wet weather which postponed the installation date many times, managed to find a time for us with their work.

The team of three young and very polite technicians came on time and worked hard all day until they finished their installation perfectly.

It was such a pleasure to watch a team of workers who did a fantastic tidy job and the whole process was trouble free. At the end the leading electrician explained to us everything regarding the inverter, panels with detailed information, as well giving us hints of extra unrelated electrical issues.

We are very satisfied with the whole Goulburn Solar team of staff/employers and we can highly recommend to everyone, their expertise and dedication to all private owners and businesses.

Everything professional with this outfit

Sales process very easy - we got initial quotes and options back quickly. A lot of sound advice via email and phone really helped get us what we wanted. Emails very clear and pros and cons well explained. Once we committed then the service continued at the same level. Good balance of communication and information about install process. Install was very good. Guys were on good form and were polite and worked well as a team. The panels were very well aligned and wiring very neat and properly conduited and clipped. Post install also excellent. My only niggle (not Goulburn Solar) is that I didn’t fully understand the energy company interaction. So didn’t understand we needed to arrange to switch plans to accommodate Solar. I had understood it “just happened”. So now we have to wait 20 days before the plan switches and therefore no credits until then. But on the long haul this is just peanuts.

A very trustworthy team at Goulburn Solar

The world of solar can be very technical and confusing with many systems offered by equally as many installers starting with cold callers who promise the world. I had some idea what I wanted based on personal research however, from the outset, I had so many questions. During my quote interview, the company took the time to honestly answer my long list of questions some of which were taken on notice for someone to get back to me rather than trying to spin a questionable answer. Immediately it set my mind at ease and we soon had a contract (Maxeon 5 system) and the customer service continued just as professionally and helpfully. Electrician visit answered a few more questions ... the installers were quick and professional and the final system looks very good. End result, a great customer experience and I have the system that suits my family with a long 40yr warranty on the Maxeon 5 panels!
If you are thinking of solar, they are well worth the contact. And don't be fooled by their location ... Goulburn is really just up the road from anywhere in the ACT!

Easy to deal with, prompt and answered all questions I had. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

When they said they were coming to quote they did, meet all the deadlines they said they would, had the system up when they said they would, the team that installed it was polite happy to answer question and left the place cleaner then they found it. The installation was tidy and where I asked and after installation they pushed me in the right direction with options for suppliers of energy best suited to my solar system and usage. Would recommend to anyone!

Great People, Great Products, Great Service (Our Experience With Ground Mount Array + Battery Storage Install)

Despite some of the most difficult weather and ground conditions you can imagine, Goulburn Solar installed a ground mount array with Tesla Powerwall 2 battery storage for us here in Wamboin. They have helped us every step of the way from siting and design choices onwards. All our questions were answered and explanations as to workings given clearly. The system is running very well and with zero fuss or bother. We have also just received our owner's manual with all the relevant paperwork bound in. The whole process was thoroughly professional. I was advised of options by very knowledgeable and professional sales staff who carefully looked at my needs and quoted a system that exceeded my expectations when installed.

The installation team worked very hard in difficult conditions (heavy rain). Their enthusiasm, interest and professionalism were well beyond my expectations. All of the equipment they installed was high quality and well worth the cost.

Great from start to finish

After reviewing several solar companies I was left slightly confused with all of the conflicting sites etc, I organised time to meet with Ben at their display room and couldn't of had a better experience. Was all explained to me well and had all the information I required to make an informed decision. Without being pushy at all I was comfortable to make a decision straight away. Then the installers were great too! Josh, Gab and Corey all had to deal with my 2 kids asking 1 million questions over the day and were great, the system is perfectly fit to the roof design and the Sunpower panels look awesome. Gab ran me through the system and app so we were comfortable with how it all works. Rich and Stu were involved heavily on the install and happy to answer any questions and make sure everything went smoothly. I couldn't be happier with everything and it's great to have a locally installed and maintained solar system. 5 STARS!!

We recieved what was ordered, on time and great guys who installed our unit. Bit dissapointed that when we discussed quote and site visit we were asked if we wanted to keep track of our solar on phones/computer and the cost was a additional approx $700. When they installed it the installer said if we had internet service in Garage we could just upload a app and wouldnt cost a thing.

The team were very thorough during our initial appointment. They were very informative, honest and forthcoming with all information.
The installation team were very friendly and professional. They arrived on time, worked under difficult weather conditions and returned as promised the next day to complete the job. The team not only installed the panels they carried out a switchboard upgrade.
We had a follow up call to check that our grid connection was uncomplicated and to ensure we were happy with the service.
We feel confident with the warranties provided and there were no hidden costs.

Professional, Ethically-Motivated Company.

Sales process was the most informative and economical of the 4 companies we made enquiries to.
The installation was seamless. The gentlemen were punctual and polite and were happy to answer our questions. They even tidied-up a couple of tiles on our roof that had gone a bit wayward!
There was no evidence left that tradesmen had even been there...except for the panels of course!!
Goulburn Solar did all connections and gave sound advice.
We were referred to Goulburn Solar by some friends who were also very happy with their system. Win, win!

Fantastic experience

From the initial quote to the install and after service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They helped us with everything from deciding which system to choose, to helping connect to the grid. Our need for solar was to save money, this has definitely happened. During our initial meeting, we were told how much we could expect to save on our electricity bill by having the solar system installed. We were complete newbies to the solar world so took a chance with this company and am so thankful that we did. Our bills are a quarter of what they once were, my husband particularly enjoys watching how much we are making/saving on the app! Goulburn Solar arrived when they said they would, completed the job when they said they would and were extremely respectful of our property. It's been a couple of years since install and the system has pretty much paid for itself with the amount we have saved on our electricity bill. The aftercare and customer service from Goulburn Solar is also still ongoing, with them checking in if they notice any issues that may affect us. I have recommended Goulburn Solar to family and friends and would happily continue to do so.

The best decision we made when building our house was choosing Goulburn Solar. Stuart and Phil really know what they are talking about.
