Go Solar Power is a solar energy company based on the northern end of the Gold Coast and services customers from Brisbane to northern NSW. The company says that its systems are designed and assured by a tertiary qualified and accredited engineer, specific to the customer’s circumstances and requirements. They say that their installers all have BCSE accreditation, so that you can be sure that your system is designed and installed to the highest possible standard, and will be eligible for government credits. Also they say that they allocate a dedicated project manager to each client, giving a single point of contact. Go Solar Power say that they offer complete post installation support, including extensive warranties on all products, and telephone support contact to give you complete peace of mind.

Go Solar Power uses Hyundai, Suntech and Trina solar panels and SMA inverters. The company says that all products are covered by extensive warranties.

If you can afford it, buy the most panels you can afford. If I had the west panels installed at the same time I could have saved around $2000 from the installation cost.

Peter Bell made this sale. His knowledge and advice were fantastic. He came to the house, was courteous and attentive. . Never ever did he want to be pushy. On his second visit we were all ready and he said about 4 weeks but then realised we already had approval from Energex and so asked if tomorrow was good, it was so on it went. How's that for service? Even though it has been installed for only two weeks from 20th of December 2011, the system is performing better than my expectations. The weather has been very cloudy with showers on at least four of the fourteen days, worst day was 18kwh, best day was 37kwh and averaged at 27kwh. Original ratings

We decided on Go Solar to supply and install our system. It was installed last week. The work is very professionally done. And was finished on schedule.

The quality of the system is excellent which is one of the most we considered important. We are very happy that Go Solar met all our expectation on a solar system. Overall we are very satisfied.

Peter Bell is very professional very pleasant and easy to deal with. We never had any hussle from the start to its completion everything went well. I would highly recommend Go Solar. Original ratings

Preforming well at present getting about 8 - 12 kw per day all depends on weather naturally.

Go Solar was the first company to respond.

Peter Bell was very knowledgeable and efficient, friendly and nothing was a problem.

His crew of installers arrived on time and the work was carried out faultlessly, including running the wiring out of sight and placed the inverter where we wanted it.

The roof and surrounding area was cleaned up and no rubbish was left behind.

We could not be happier.

I had expected 3000 kWhr per year net to be generated; this has been the case- my system is not ideally positioned but I am sure most are not in suburbia
Savings amount to about $900-$1000 per year for this 3Kw system.

Thus actual payback time is really 10-11 yrs which is about what I expected but less than what is often advertised
However having said that, I am happy to have installed the system

It will be installed in 2 weeks time.
But first impression over the phone the owner himself was available to answer very technical questions because he knew what he was talking about it.

When we met to my home, he climb on the roof and check roof spaces and what was the best orientation, check the roof, and he is an engineer who could answer to more questions. He shows a passion for his work and attention to customer.
I have signed the paper work, and the next day I sent him an other 20 questions to answer in relation with more reading about the whole system. He reply to me in the next 3 days.

I have read several feed back about this company and they were all positive and show satisfaction.
The system has not been installed yet, and I'm quite happy to give me more feed back in few weeks time when it is all working.

They were quite happy to give me private contact around here from previous installations.

The comprehensive information provided by Finn Peacock (Peacock Media) allowed us to make a very informed decision about both the Supplier and the Products used.
We chose "Go Solar" as our provider/installer based on several factors:
1. Recommended by Finn Peacock
2. Impressed with Principal Peter Bell who took the time to walk carefully through all aspects of Solar Power with us and, at no time, did we feel pressured to proceed
3. Peter is a qualified Electrical Engineer which provided us with an additional level of comfort
4. Installation was completed on time (in fact we were overseas at the time) and is working perfectly.
5. Finn Peacock has confirmed that Panels and Inverter are "top of the range".
6. Based on quotes received, price was very competitive.

Overall a very positive experience and we can highly recommend the Go Solar team.

Peter Bell from Go Solar Power was very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgable on the solar industry and systems that he supplied.
Peter rang the following day after submitting my details to Solar Quotes and came to my place late that afternoon to give me quotes on a rang of systems and explained the in's and out's of solar and the best system for my place.
Only took two weeks from paying deposit to getting the system installed and the installers are a great bunch of blokes and know there job.
Would recommend Go Solar power to anyone to get their solar system installed.

Peter Bell from Go Solar Power was the only one of three who actually came to the property and climbed on the roof with a compass to see which would be the best place for mounting the panels. Installation process was painless and organised. Peter followed up with us to make sure Energex were ready to install the meter. We were very happy with the advice received from him and the result. The information received about solar energy and energy usage was most interesting.

My over all experience with solar quotes web site was great i received my 3 quotes promptly .

Go Solar stood out from the other two Peter Bell was just a fantastic sales person and very knowledgeable. I'm a sale person my self and pointed out to Peter this and that I had done my research. He took this on board and didn't try to sell me on anything just supplied all the facts, answered all my questions, and left me to decide. Their price wasn't the cheapest but it was within only a couple of hundred dollars yet all the components where brand names and i was able to research the exact component he listed my self on the net .

I would definitely recommend Peter Bell from Go Solar Power. I am extremely happy with all aspects of our solar buying experience. From our initial deposit to Energex changing our meter was 8 weeks.

Our installer David Tegg from A1 Power Contracting was professional, polite and we were very pleased to have them do our installation. We chose a premium brand of Hyundai panels and a Xantrex inverter for our solar system. Just fantastic.

Peter from Go Solar has been fantastic. He was the only guy I spoke with (2 did not even contact me that I had emailed to) out of 6 different companies that I felt was not giving me the hard sell and he really knew his stuff. He gave me the details and pricing and it sold itself. He also answered any questions we had and was very good to us as we signed after the government change the rules again; he honoured the original price he gave us. His install team where excellent and very professional. They ran through everything with me and did as they said they would. Thanks very much Peter, now we just need this bloody rain to stop so we can start making some power.

Peter Bell was extremely helpful and followed up every question we had. He was willing to keep quoting on different options until we got the right combination for our needs. Installation was earlier than estimated and the installers were very professional. The system is performing above expectations.
We received 2 quotes very quickly from the 3 quotes arranged by Solar quotes and the third was to come from Omega who did provide pricing on their emails and did not return my phone calls.
I think that Go Solar provided the best quality system at a cost effective price.

The installation happened as promised with no hassles and the PV array has performed slightly better than expected.

We really appreciated the in depth technical knowledge that Peter from Go Solar Power brought. He has an engineering background, so was able to design a system that would work for our unusual house configuration, but also was able to explain the concept clearly to us lay people. We also appreciated the total lack of sales pitch, that he just provided us with all the figures and information and waited for us to reach our own conclusions.

It took a long time from beginning to end (May to November) but I'm pleased that I took the time and did not rush into it. There was a problem with supply of the original panels quoted but a substitution was made in our favour giving us a slightly higher kW. Peter had no hesitation in putting me in contact with another client who had a similar system.

So far it has been a pleasurable experience. Even on heavily overcast days we are producing electricity. On slightly overcast days we get around 5W and have seen peaks at 5.3W, strangely on bright blue days we average 4.5W for the peak times 11-1.30pm. It is quite a thrill seeing the old meter going backwards at around the same rate that it used to spin forwards. Now that Energex* has installed the new meter we will be able to see the actual data as the meters are digital.

I have talked with neighbors who have systems and it seems that our Hyundai panels are out-performing other brands. I'm told that it may be due to the size of the cells. But on a per panel basis we are well ahead.

Interestingly having the system has made the family energy conscious. (Somewhat counter intuitive but even our energy profligate users are switching off lights etc.)

*One blip was the wait for Energex to connect the new meter but they came today and they were efficient, polite and nice.

I will wait for a few months and then probably install another much larger system on a second property. Probably a 30KW system and if that goes well another.

Having researched extensively for the last three years and actually having signed up twice before with
different suppliers/installers and then cancelling due to poor prior installation experiences, I eventually

1. I already had been approved for the $8000 Gov grant, had signed up with another company which I found completely unacceptable in trying to deal with them.

2. At your website I ws given 3 people to contact, Peter Bell from Go Solar Power was the promptest in replying, meeting with me, submitting a quotation along with superior quality components.

3. I had only to pay $2790 on top of the $8000 grant for my 9 panel system.

4. Another suggested supplier from my web inquiry contacted me but only some time after I had already decided to go with Peter Bell and Go Solar Power.

Can't wait for my next electricity bill.
