Good all round, Service, Installation & Education

Process was smooth, everything happened as planned and on time. Mitchell from Eureka Solar has taken many of my phone calls answering all of my questions. The education component of solar, Battery and Inverter sizing was great. Solar panels spread across three arrays with optimisers N,W & E. I went for a 10KW Inverter so that I could use the entire house instead of having to decide on which 2 circuits I used for a smaller inverter. I was going to replace an old solar system and Mitchell said no need to get rid of it. I opted for 5 modules of Battery giving me 16KW instead of the initial 3 modules being 10 KW. That was my choice. The system has room to expand with an additional 3 battery modules and I could double the amount of panels if I require it down the track. The work looked super neat and the inspector confirmed this. Mitchell attended the house to quote so there were no surprises. It was installed over a 2 day period by Mitchell no subcontractors which was really important to me. I recommend using Eureka Solar and Battery for a quality system, installation and service.

Eureka Solar

We were initially impressed by the installer coming to site to view our situation and really understand the shading issues we have. We then discussed a number of options to get the performance that we were looking including various panel positioning and orientation options.
Install was excellent and they even did some wiring maintenance on our old 3kW system. All done within the two day quoted time line.
Since install Mitchell has helped us understand what the monitoring app is telling us and assisted in making parameter changes to tweak the system to match our load profile, tarrif structure and min battery reserve.

Outstanding service in all respects.

I cannot rate Mitchell and his team at Eureka more highly for their punctual, thorough, detailed, and professional service.

I asked a lot of questions, and Mitchell always provided thorough responses and thoughtful input into the design of my system, which was not at all straightforward. His knowledge of electrical system design and solar operation exceeded all other providers I canvassed.

No request from me was ever "too hard," and I felt his approach to the installation was as considered as if he were installing the system on his own home.

Please consider Mitchell and Eureka for your next solar installation. I am confident your expectations will be exceeded.

4.4kW addition to current house system

Installation went smoothly and on time.
Completed last Friday 02/05 but still awaiting final inspection before switching on.
Appreciated explanation regarding the distance from garage (system location) to grid connection, and it's effect on maximum system size possible, given capacity of current wiring.

Thanks for your review. The Electrical Inspector has notified me that they have tried with you for an inspection today (1 week post installation). We apologise for this but it is out of our control that you are unavailable today. Electrical inspections must be done by a third party licenced inspector and generally can take 1-4 weeks.

Honest, informative, quality installer.

Mitchell from MP Electrical and Solar was fantastic from first contact to finish of install. Very responsive, informative, honest and upfront. Worked with me to determine the best fit for our system design and household requirements, through various iterations. Suggestions were made in terms of shading, which resulted in a higher performing system.

Cannot fault service and installation

Mitchell listened too my aspirations for 'as much grid independence as possible' within a reasonable budget Others did not listen in relation to capacity of PV generation and Battery storage, He came back with proposal at a good price, using products and brands that other quotes used, He did point out that it did not have the shortest payback period but would meet my goals.

He began work when he said he would and completed the job efficiently and neatly. Commissioning presented no issues and initial performance to expectations.

Fantastic Experience

The entire process exceeded our expectations. Mitch was professional from the outset, from the initial planning of our system, through quoting, revisions, and then to installation and post-support.

I recommend MPE extremely highly to anyone who needs solar installed in the Ballarat region and wants a reliable and professional installation.
