High quality service, great personalization and honest advice.
The boys did a great job of right-sizing our solar system, installing it and communicating along the way. Would happily recommend. Their quote was on the more expensive side but with a 10yr service warranty we felt like they were ready to stand by the quality of their work.Inverter rating: 5/5

Great value for quality system
Extensive research and answered all our questions. Very patient with us. The installation was quick and efficient. Boys took time to explain associated App.10 months later we asked Richard: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
We upgraded from 3kW to 9kw and it has made me realise that the larger system is where everyone should head for as it consistently provides 6+kW daily which has a significant impact on our bills whereas the smaller system was only 1 - 2 kW daily and had minimal benefit. Our next investment, after painting the house!, will be a battery to help out over winter months.17 May 2023
Great Service
After many quotes and site visits I settled on East Point Power.The sales and quote process was easy and the guys who did the installation were wonderful, polite and very tidy.
I would like to thank Solar Quotes for this service. I tried to find an installer on my own but there are still cowboys out there and without Solar Quotes advice and recommendations I would have possibly made a very poor choice.

Informative, genuine and local
They provided a quick and inhome evaluation and quote process. The salesperson was polite and explained all facets of installation and pricing. The installation crew were efficient and informed us clearly of the following steps with the grid provider. The company left us feeling confident in their ongoing follow up. Very Happy with my Solar System
The process to agree on a system was quite enjoyable. The staff were very straight forward and easy to deal with. I wanted to get a lot of options quoted and this wasnt a problem. The administration of the process was very organised. I chose not to use finance so there were only two payments. One before commencing the job and one after commissioning. The job was completed early and the work site was left clean and tidy.My inverter was upgraded to 15KW at no extra cost.
There was a problem with the Inverter and it was replaced under warranty without question.
I have recommended East Point Power to friends.

Good installation
Sales/quotation very professional, informative and clearly set out. The installation crew were also tremendous, punctual and did a tremendous job.However, the post installation service was non-existent. There has been no follow up as they stated and I requested clarifications of perceived problems and have have no response. There continues to an inconsistency with the inverter data but now that they have been paid, they apparently do not care.
An additional $300 was quoted for an upgrade of a cable and AC switch. I understood that this was from the inverter to the distant meter board. I was astounded when on the day I found that this amount was to increase the cable size from the house internal distribution board to the inverter from 4mm2 to 6mm2. Must be gold plated cable!
8 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system is performing to advised expectations and a slight hiccup with the inverter software was very quickly rectified by East Point Power. Biggest hassle has been with the energy supplier who have regularly moved to minimise the feed in tariff and maximise usage charges and fees!

Good System Design
Prior to and including installation they are great to deal with. I received several quotes and they came up with the best design for my irregular roof angles and the price was very competitive. However, post installation it took 6 weeks to get them to fix a problem with the installation and the irregular readings from the Sungrow inverters were never rectified. It was only by withholding final payment that they seemed interested in after sales support.Panel rating: 5/5

True Local and truly great service
Yarran and the crew from East Point were informative, amenable and efficient at all times. The installation went smoothly, on time and at a good price. All after installation submissions etc we’re completed promptly making the whole process painless. Couldn’t recommend East Point more highly.8 months later we asked Peter: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system has performed entirely as I expected and as East Point Power outlined in the original installation proposal.Couldn’t be happier apart from the pretty measly feed in tariffs offered by the power retailers especially considering how they gold plated the network with taxpayer funded money, charged like wounded bulls but now have a poorly designed network largely unfit for purpose because of their and government lack of foresight and abundance of greed.

Very thorough
I asked East Point Power to add to an existing system. Other companies mostly quoted over the phone. East Point Power came out and not only measured everything but checked our power board and existing soilar system to make sure they could combine the two systems so it could be monitored as one. The workers were hard working and made sure everything looked neat and tidy. Great service8 months later we asked Ross: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
System performing well. Needed some after sales service to install an extender so that Enphase would be able to read our output. Have had to chase that service and have given up we will get an electrician to install. After service ordinary.22 June 2021

I highly recommend Yarran and the crew from East Point Power. I got a few solar quotes and Yarran was the only one to find out what was important to me, explain all the different options and provide a detailed breakdown of what I was actually paying for. Professional Solar Installation in the Northern Rivers
The sales/quoting process was excellent with in depth information and explanations for us.The whole installation was seamless, the contractors were polite, tidy and punctual. Customer service was great - they also completely organized the grid connection after the install and recommended which service provider to go with to obtain the best current rebate price.
Very impressed
Whole process was smooth and efficient, from quoting to installation.Our requirements were a little complex due to the merging of two metres into one, as well as getting the panels installed on a shed quite a distance from the house and cabin they service. However the expertise of the company saw them nut out the problems and ultimately do a perfect installation. The workers were all professional, friendly and fun, and explained everything in detail for us. Couldn’t be happier.
