Great installer but no after sales service
I had a system installed by Dunne Solar. Work was excellent unfortunately if you need to contact after installation forget it. Never returns calls. Left numerous messages. Just wanted to add to existing system. Customer service non existent. Sadly as they are very knowledgeable and good as his trade. Just no customer service skills. Not as good as what they make out to be
Initial dealing was quite good and knowledgeable.Dunne were polite and apologetic when they couldn't make it and was quite pleasant to deal with.
They came and did the rough in work (pre gyprock) and when it was time for the final fitout they hadn't run all the cables needed. Had to cut holes in the gyprock to run what was needed. I ended up repairing the holes...
After the install was complete the system wasn't working as it was meant to so I contacted SolarEdge support. Dunne Solar didn't wire up the panels correctly so they had to come back and rewire a few of the strings. I ended up running the cable needed because they bent a corrugated roof sheet when they came to sute to install the system.
Once that was done an optimiser went off-line and Dunne chased it up and came to site to replace it. Good job guys..
Once the job was complete I engaged an independent to check out the install and he found a few things wrong like the MC4 connectors weren't tight. They used what looked to be normal cable glands and filled them with silicone. Couple of the rails were loose and they didn't cut any of the cable tie ends. One of the isolator covers has one screw missing, and one of the others the bolts were about to come off so they tightened them.
Sub standard in my opinion and would never recommend them to anybody.
I contacted SolarEdge and they no longer are the contractor for my system..

Chose Dunne Solar & Electrical based on previous reviews. His company lived up to the previous high ratings. Great team, well organised, courteous, excellent installation, top quality gear, persisted to get monitoring working properly even after paying full invoice amount. 2 x Fronius 5 kw inverters, one hybrid for later battery install. Sunpower 345 w panels. Fronius monitoring (smart meter and app) is very good..

Dunne Solar & Electrical was truly professional in every way, from the start of giving the quote to the completion of the job.
Good price, on time, top materials, good clean job, also organizing the change over of the power meter.
Even a follow up call to see if everything was working ok, and if I was happy with the job.
What more can you ask for?
Highly recommended.

Paul Dunne Solar was considerably cheaper for Sunpower panels and ABB battery ready inverter compared to same config from Mark Group.

This was a very steep roof to work on and was not without it's problems for the installers.
That said, Paul accepted the challenge and the team worked quickly, & confidently and took time to give detailed answers to any questions on the day.
Job completed cleanly and although it is early days (installed only weeks ago) we are pleased with the result and feel assured of back-up from Dunne Solar for any future queries. Very pleasant and competent company to deal with.

I went for Sunpower 327W Panels and SMA 5kW 3ph inverter.Paul Dunne from Dunne Solar [ Website not running jet ] was recommended by Sunpower.
I was worried as he had no Website nothing to check out.
The National Sales Manager from Sunpower called, to tell me Paul is very skilled ,and highly respected within the Solar Industry.
It went wery well, + Meter Bord upgrade to RCDs/CBs as required under AS3000 standart inside the house ,and asbestos switchbourd removal.
It came to just under $11,400.00
Installt today.
