Low cost, poor subcontractor
I had a somewhat difficult installation location (insulated roof panelling). All of the other low cost installers couldn't make it work, but DJ Solar new of appropriate brackets etc and were a competitive price.DJ Solar subcontracted the install out as expected, however the installers had never used the model of inverter or brackets before. The brackets weren't installed properly (missing half the screws) and the inverter was installed without a DC isolator (my model of inverter didn't have an inbuilt one). The system was also installed prior to contacting energex and getting approval for the installation. I also had to largely commission the system myself as the installer didn't know how or have the write passwords etc.
They fixed all the issues promptly when I complained, but most people wouldn't have been to identify the problems with the install.

Best price, Excellent service
DJ solar gave me the best price in the market for the best quality products. The installation team was very supportive, they were kind enough to hold power disconnection for more than an hour for me to finish my meetings. Very happy with the service.17 October 2019

Competitive pricing, professional install
Sales Quoting processas I knew what I wanted and had spoken to several solar companies prior, I had a good idea of what would fit on my roof, DJ Solar provided many brands and configurations for me to choose from. I used SolarQuotes brand reviews to select some that I was comfortable with.
Install Day 1
as it was quite a big system and they were replacing an existing system, it was broken up into two days.
the installers arrived on time and were polite and kept the install tidy
Install Day 2
All went well, they brought a 3rd installer to do the board while the other two finished the system (we had a big storm expected in the afternoon, so I think they were trying to finish ahead of that)
By 4pm it was online and generating 2500kw (just as the storm and it dropped to 600 :( )
I had been looking for a solar company that delivered a high quality product and install for a competitive price, I am happy that I went with DJ Solar.
