Clean Energy Works is a Melbourne based company specialising in solar power systems for home owners and small to medium businesses. It is owned and operated by Michael Connors, an experienced industry professional who was a senior manager with one of Australia's largest Solar Energy companies.
Clean Energy Works say they only sell excellent quality solar systems that represent the best value for money on the market, which they would be happy to install on their own homes or recommend to their family and friends. They promise to take the time to understand your needs and design the right system for you, no pushy sales tactics - just honest, straightforward advice.
They can install just about anywhere in Victoria . They use only A Grade electricians who own and operate their own electrical contracting business, this means they have a reputation to uphold and will be around for years to come if there are any problems with the system down the track, giving customers additional security and peace of mind. All of the installers must also be a fully certified solar designer and installer, accredited by the Clean Energy Council.

Michael was great to deal with - no hard sell, came across as honest, reliable and knowledgeable. He Recommended a smaller sized system and it was installed promptly. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Bayside area who is looking for a solar installer.8 months later we asked Sue: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

I would recommend Clean Energy Works. Michael is a good salesman who catered for my requirements. The installer was top notch, I actually got him to put a tv antenna up while he was there. The system works really well, I'm getting above 3kW output on good days. Overall, I am very happy with the product and service.

I cannot fault the service and professional advice I got from Michael. He explained all my options very clearly and looked after the whole process of purchasing and installation in a professional manner. At every opportunity he made it easy for me so all I had to do was sit back and enjoy the process. Trevor did the installation tirelessly and obviously was very knowledgeable about the process. I have no regrets with my purchase and am very excitedly using my own power now.

We went with Clean Energy Works because they didn't try to sell us a system that had elements we didn't need. Gordon was also initially the only one to follow up on our discussions regarding the installation of our system. Price was good and the initial system spec was OK but after some further research we upgraded the panels.

We were very happy with our decision to go with Michael from Clean Energy Works (we received 2 other quotes). Michael was straightforward & knowledgeable, we immediately felt we could trust him and the advice he gave us. We got a good quality system at a very reasonable price. His contractor Bao was excellent. Our installation was more complicated than usual, Bao went out of his way to satisfy our requests & did an excellent job. We would highly recommend Clean Energy works.

Micheal is a very tuned in representative as has vast industry and product knowledge He is committed to providing a system that will satisfy your requirements and will perform well within the environmental constraints of the installation site. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael. I also found Boa who was assigned as the installer to be very cooperate, professional and accommodating. Overall it has been a very good relationship.

I only got two quotes; I chose Clean Energy Works on the basis of friends' recommendation and because I was impressed with Michael's experience. He provided a very good quality system at a competitive price, with good friendly and trustworthy sales approach. My other quote was from Urban Renewables; Adrian's quote was also impressive - very competitive, with a very good quality system and very nice sales approach - I felt I would have been happy to go with that quote as well but decided to go with Clean Energy Works because friends had used them.

Going with Clean Energy Works was an easy decision. Michael was the exact opposite of previous pushy salesmen I'd seen. He took the time to listen to my situation and design the optimal system and explain it in full. Professional advice with no pressure. Installation was quick and stress free. The installer was very experienced and only concerned with doing a good job regardless of time or complications. Highly recommended.

Michael from Clean Energy Works spent time to go through all the information, answer all questions and when I pointed out conflicting information from other sales people he spent time and effort (even contacting a manufacturer on the spot for me to directly ask questions of) to assist in my understanding of the solar system and clarifying information giving to me by him and others.
He was by far the most impressive with his knowledge of the solar industry and products and not pushy towards his system but seemed genuine in his willingness for you to understand the products on offer (by him and others) and equip you with all the information so you could make an informed choice yourself.

Clear and honesty descriptions without the sales pitch. Timely, efficient and professional in all respects. Installation was again professional and efficient, also very clean, area was cleaned and all rubbish, no matter how small was taken away. I would recommend Solar Quotes and Clean Energy Works to anyone considering solar.

Despite one of the solar panel manufacturers going out of business during the negotiations, the whole process progressed smoothly form start to finish. Some very minor wind noise issues with the installation were addressed quickly and well. Very happy with the whole process.

Clean Energy Works were the cheapest price of several companies I looked at - and the equipment equally as good, or better, with long guarantees. The installation was quick and efficient - and whilst we have not yet had a quarter's electric bill - I can tell from the readings that we are saving a good amount of money.

The whole service from start to finish was fantastic! Michael, the director, was very down-to-earth and explained everything very clearly, while the installer turned up spot on time, worked continuously all day, did a very neat job and cleaned up thoroughly after he had finished.

Only 2 were able to do an on site visit, which was a shame because I think the third company ( Bendigo based as I recall) sounded very very good, but I stuck with the cheaper of the 2 who came to my house, not just because they were the cheapest, but because they seemed to have the better overall system.

The salesman was very good and helpful in explaining the process and sequence of event. Everything went to plan. However, once all installed the process to get hook up to the grid through our power supplier is very slow and tedious.

The explanations and attention to details given by the consultant who comes to your door are key issues in the decision you are making.
This person needs to hear what you are saying or asking, and not respond by falling into spouting baffling jargon or criticizing rivals, but interact positively to increase your understanding.

I was impressed with the quick response to the inquiry, and that I was given plenty of information on first phone contact and then the sales guy was here within an hour and we had the contract signed within 20 minutes. NO bulldust sales pitch or tactics. I can only highly recommend Clean Energy works.

Michael at Clean Energy Works followed through the works at all stages, and came past a number of times to confirm all was progressing well. Attention to detail, follow up and customer service were second to none.
The only hold up was the electricity supplier connecting our solar inverter into the general network. This seems to be deliberately slow and was nothing to do with the supplier or installing electrician.

All work was completed as discussed and paid for, although getting it to be connected to the grid takes time, and this can be frustrating.

Michael Connors from Clean Energy Works was one of the only sales persons who actually new about his product and solar technology and didn't need to resort to sales gimmicks and pressure selling. I found him easy to communicate with and he always did what he said he would. I recommended him to a friend who had a new system installed by Clean Energy within a week!

The system has reduced my power bill by at least half to two thirds depending on season. Very happy with the system so far and expect pay back sooner than originally planned.
