Beautiful Installation
Sales and quoting process went smoothly. Installers were polite and on time.09 November 2024
Great priced battery system
Excellent Tesla battery system at a great price. Installation started well, but a difficult one due to limestone walling (not flat). Installers excellent but unable to complete it due to Tesla battery installation problems not being able to attach battery directly onto wall. They are coming back to complete installation another day. Soon I hope. Installers punctual.efficient and tidy completing partial installation and cabling. Waiting for communication from Class A Energy Solutions in Adelaide for completion of install.( Battery installed to existing 6kw solar system with Fronius inverter.)

Ok but not great
Had to chase this company up a few times to find out install date. Calls not returned as promised. Installer had to come out 3 times to complete job. Battery didn't work after initial install. Had to chase up again with phone calls and email. Battery finally working now. Customer service needs much improvementPanel rating: 5/5

A Good install - in the end
The system was installed very efficiently. A few days after there was a blackout and our system did not behave as expected. We were quoted an extra $1600 for installation of battery backup. After lodging a complaint wit the SA Consumer Affairs Class A said they would investigate. We heard nothing for a while as we were travelling but on return inquired of Class A what was happening. We were told they had attended and fixed the proble. Apparently a faulty Current Transformer. All appears to be OK now.Panel rating: 3/5

Early days but comfortably satisfied
The sales people seemed o know their products and explained everything well and quotes were prompt and easy to understand how the installation would go. I chose the person who gave me the more technical answers to pros and cons of different system set ups. The installation was great and well explained. Any issues that arose were talked through and everything was completed on time.19 February 2024
Great install, very neat job
The sales process was made easy with the insights of Solarquotes. Our 3 quotes were all in the same ball park so then our decision came down to who would be the most accommodating.All the staff and crew were very polite and respectful, they all took the time to answer our questions when asked.
The crew went the extra mile to preserve the integrity of our roof, 36 year old cement roof tiles which are quite fragile. They took the time to replace all broken tiles with our spares that we had available.
They removed our old system and replaced with a larger system and took all rubbish and components away.
The system was installed in 1-1/2 days and has been running since. We haven't contacted our energy supplier yet, waiting for our next bill, we have had issues with their metre reader and will be negotiating for a smart meter if possible.
All in all a very pleasant experience.

Great quality product and value for money.
Very happy all round.Initial contact was prompt and all requested details provided.
Installation was hampered by weather issues but still completed in the requested timeframe.
Post installtion requirements also well managed.
Highly recommended.

Taking the stress out of getting on the solar bandwagon
Wow what a fantastic experience I have had in deciding to purchase a solar system. From the initial approach to Class A Energy Solutions to the final installation, I cannot believe how easy this has been. Can highly recommend Class A Energy Solutions, the level of customer service was exceptional. From Shane who took time to explain the process and answered my questions during quoting and sales to Tom the installer. Connection to the grid was organised, helped me set up the app on my phone, and followed up to check if my energy retailer had done their thing. Thanks for taking the stress out of jumping on the solar bandwagon.26 July 2023

Quality customer service.
Quoting system was honest and efficient. I did go to their location when I chose them to pay a cash deposit. They were very patient with me and explained and showed me the bracket system they use. The installers were punctual, tidy and respectful to all.eg no shouting or swearing .They were honest and told me they cracked a tile and found 2 other ones that were damaged and installed them all. Of course that made me feel happy. They finish at the time they said, also patiently explaining the inverter ect. With out hesitation they rest my auto pool clock for better efficiently as I had trouble seeing the clock numbers .They set the grid connection and they system starting working right away. Over all they were a great team and I believe they should succeed for a long time.10 months later we asked Aldo: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Great customer service and excellent product.
From the quote to installation it was a smooth process. Installed 2 weeks after quoting, faster than expected. All other companies had a waiting time of up to 4 months.The system and battery were installed in 1 day, even during showers.
Everyone from sales person to installers was friendly and professional.
Couldn't be happier with my choice.

Class A Energy Solutions are great to deal with in every part of getting a solar system. Shane in sales made it so easy and had no problem answering any questions I put to him. Really happy with the whole experience of negotiation, price, pre-installation process, and installation of my solar system.
I was impressed with the sales person, who promoted a system for me that was of high quality and yet cheaper than what I had expected to pay. Eg, a Goodwe inverter rather than the more expensive Solar Edge or Fronius. He was really helpful with all aspects of the process including facilitating the Smart meter install happening. Also, Class A Energy Solutions have experience with installing EV vehicle chargers and I was comfortable with his understanding of where I need it to be placed to be most useful for me. I was really happy with the company, with the prompt installation of the solar system, and I'm expecting Class A Energy Solutions to put the EV charger where I want it in due course.Panel rating: 4/5

Professional Installation
The installation was conducted professionally and appears to be functioning well. The personnel were friendly and informative. Shane , in particular was particularly easy to deal with.Re value for money and quality of the system, it is rather premature to judge as I have no technical expertise.

Outstanding Service, Installation and Communication
After extensive research we settled on Class A Energy Solutions (suggested by SolarQuotes) for our 7.8kWh system with a GoodWe GW6000-MS Inverter. Marlon made the process so easy with his outstanding communication and explanation of how everything works and what we needed. I informed Marlon we were ready to install our system (thinking I would have to wait a few weeks) and to my surprise it was installed the following day! Andrew and Bruce were very prompt, arriving when promised and very friendly. After a morning chat they got to work and kept me updated throughout the day. Our configuration needed to be changed after Andrew did exact measurements of our roof space and drew a plan to show me the new placement. He showed me how and why and explained everything. His solution was brilliant and our system was up and running that afternoon. Bruce connected our inverter to Wifi and helped me with the App. Class A are brilliant to deal with and I was so happy I chose a local business (we are in Littlehampton, SA) over a national provider. The service is personal, caring and professional - they really cared about what we wanted and what would work best for us. The whole process has been outstanding, and I HIGHLY recommend this company.24 October 2022

Great sales support
Sales process was straight forward. Install went well with good team and was able to happen quickly due to been a smaller system, which they could fit in between larger installsCompany organised grid connection.
Only issue was they failed to wire the hot water system through the additional system Meter. Company still has not responded about fixing. Apart from that happy with service.

Class - there's a reason why it's in their name!
During my solar quotes process I had multiple quotes from different providers, Class A was by far the best experience I had from sales to installation. There was no pushy sales talk, no pressure! I ended up having multiple lengthy conversations with Shane and felt confident with him and Class A. Installation was quick, and professional! Great Experience
I found Class A Energy Solutions to be friendly and helpful when I was enquiring about putting solar on and prompting sent me a competitive quote. Upon accepting the quote they were able to instal the system a lot quicker than I expected. The installation was completed quickly by polite tradesmen. Terrific experience
Firstly, ALL companies I deal with were very helpful and professional.The company I chose was;
- fantastic with the quoting process and all questions were answered promptly.
- installation was carried out by friendly and happy tradesmen. The job was started when quoted and was completed very professionally. Additionally, my roof was repaired when required and the job was left clean and tidy.
- customer service was extremely good. Everything through to organisation of connection was taken care of for me. I didn't have to do a thing in this area.
8 months later we asked Keith : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
I think the system is operating to expectations. I have not had a bill as yet and this is now winter although I am waiting for the most current quarter information; bill or credit; to be forwarded to me. That should be today if my power company is doing their job correctly.A battery is something for the future, perhaps the current federal govt performance in the renewables area will exacerbate that decision. Time will tell.

Best Battery - but long delay
We decided on the Powerwall-2 - it's a no-brainer really (see SolarQuotes for why!) - despite its expense - and we paid the deposit at the end of September 2021 and signed up for the $2000 rebate from the SA Govt. In January 2022 I queried the progress and was told it'd be installed before the rebate expired in April. In March I received an invoice, but no installation had taken place. I queried this and was informed the installation would be soon. It was eventually installed in mid-May and I had to reapply for the rebate. It seems the accounts side was struggling to cope with the rush of installations, and there may also have been issues with getting batteries to Australia. The people themselves at Class-A were however always polite and helpful.As an aside, it seems Tesla is very pernickety about the installation (not on this wall, 600mm away from other stuff, etc.) which adds to the negotiation that the installer has to engage in.
Anyway, the upside is that I locked in the price before two price increases by Tesla, so I'm very happy with that! And the app is an absolute treat - very glad I went with the Powerwall.

Great experience from start to finish
Having had our Tesla and solar in for over two Months now we are very happy. We do not get a power bill and have used the back up twice when the power from the grid went down.Class A were a delight to deal with. Shane explained everything and the install was faultless.
What a breath of fresh air dealing with a company that actually cares. Highly recommend this company.

Exceptional company delivering what they promise.
We had our 13kw solar system along with our battery installed with Class A. We were not surprised with the professional service as we were recommended to only use Class A from a friend.With so much noise in this industry we just wanted a quality system from a company that has been around for a long time and this company is a stand out. Don’t get burnt just call Class A.

We were treated like family
Great service from start to finish. Shane overloaded us with information to be sure we got the best system that suited our needs.The office team were fantastic and the install was faultless.
We went with Class A because of how long they have been in business as well as the positive reviews we have read.

Exceptional service and a pleasure to deal with.
Class A delivered in spades. The sales process was very informative and Shane explained every part of the install which went exactly to plan.The system has delivered more savings than I expected and my last bill was $14.
Highly recommend Class A they deliver what they promise. The install team were amazing well presented on time and cleaned up their mess. I even got a follow up call after a Month to make sure I was happy.

Great proffessional installation
Class A Energy Solutions was one of a number of quotes I obtained. They were the only installer that could install my system within a couple of weeks. The others were 6 to 8 weeks hence. The quoting process was straight forward as by then I had accumulated a significant amount of knowledge (from the other suppliers and the Solar Quotes website). Installation was quickly arranged and scheduled however there was a glitch on the day with light rain falling. The installers advised me I would have to reschedule, packed up and left. Of course, it stopped raining as soon as they disappeared. No matter, the rescheduled installation took place a few days later. The installers were very professional and completed the work with the minimum of fuss. Greg did a great job with the inverter and the panel and stepped me through the operation and the software. The site was left clean and tidy. Class A also arranged for AGL to install the smart meter which was completed a few days later. Although it is a little early to tell but indications are that the system is operating to expectations. The associated documentation for grid connect process was handled within one day of finishing the installation.

Questions (which were a lot). Installation happened quickly.
Process was very easy, Shane was very accomodating, easy to talk to and answered all my questions (and they were plenty). From quoting, to explaining how everything would work, to delivery and installation, I was happy with it all once we decided to go ahead. In less than a week from acceptance of the quote, we had our system installed. I have since recommended them to another friend who are having their panels installed with them too.07 October 2021
So far, so good
The sales/quoting process went well - I asked the seller to come and inspect my home to discuss any issues, and he did.Unfortunately, on the day of installation, the electrician decided to install the inverter in a different position from the one previously discussed, justifying the choice based on the difficulty of performing a different electrical wiring. The current location of the inverter is not ideal, as it is exposed to the sun all afternoon.
I am currently considering the possibility of protecting the inverter with a shield.
Also the involvement of Intellihub Metering, to be the Relevant Agent able to remotely disconnect and reconnect the solar generation plant from the distribution network, looked strange and/or unjustified, as I don't think that any dedicated relays has been installed.
Customer service helped with connecting to the network; however, I had to contact the energy provider to ask for meter reconfiguration (which I was told was unnecessary)

Great experience
From first contact with Class A, through to the installation and getting me logged into the monitoring, was a smooth and seamless process. Due to my roof style I was told up front there would be some additional cost which was very professional of them - no extra hidden fees.They were also the only one of 3 companies I contacted that highlighted my odd 2 phase setup, and explained about the use of crawl boards for installation.
Highly recommended.

Easier than booking your car in for a service, great install at a great price.
Shane sorted a quote, paperwork to install without any hassle and did so impressively quickly too. Was quoted a real world price (not a suss internet special price) on a great system at a very competitve price. After doing some research on the proposed system and comparing against competing quotes, it was clear that Shane had taken the time to understand my requirements and had designed a system that was perfect for my families needs. Flawless install over 1.5 days on a tricky roof, our house was left spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend Shane and Class A Energy Solutions.Supplier Reply:

Class A, A Class
You know when you have to organise something as unsexy as solar power and you dread the phone calls with sales people who are going to throw information at you with very little concern that you, if you’re like me, have no bloody idea what they’re talking about because all you want is a quality product at a fair price installed by tradies who are going to treat your dog with love.Well, all I can say is thank god for Class A Energy Solutions. As soon soon as Shane called me, and I’m not going to lie, he did talk about things like kilowatts and inverters and shading and roof tilting, and I did start dreaming of the new shoes I was thinking about buying when I no longer had power bills.
He assured me of the quality panels and inverters they used, rebuffed me about wasting my money when I tried to upsell things to myself (because I am nothing if not ignorant about what I think I need) and guaranteed that the workmanship is covered for 12 years. After getting the quote to me within a day, I read it and because of my said lapse in concentration, he patiently and very promptly answered all of my many emails with details he’d previously gone through.
I was given an installation date and time, the tradies turned up exactly when they said they would with a courtesy call on the day to say they were on their way, and they managed to both seamlessly install my solar while giving my dog Curly - a kelpie who saw his job as supervising the roof works - the hugs and respect he thinks he deserves.
The whole process from phone call to installation took less time than it takes me to decide what tv programs I’ll be watching next month. If you have read this far - and props to you if you have - I cannot recommend this company and my experience with them enough. Thanks to everyone involved in my effort to one day live off grid and start wearing vegan sandals (obvs this last bit is a joke. I don’t wear sandals.).
