Circuit Alert Electrical was established in 2010 as a specialist electrical & solar company by Richard Holloway, a 2nd generation Electrician, with over 30 years experience.
In 2019 Martin Rudd joined Circuit Alert Electrical to form Circuit Alert Electrical & Solar, Martin is a 5th generation builder that has been in the industry for over 30 years and has worked as a highly successful solar project manager for over 10 years.

Cannot recommend enough.

Great friendly service
From start to finish we felt looked after. I contacted Circuit Alert months before going ahead with a quote and Lisa gave me lots to think about but with no hard sell. Circuit Alert had been recommended to me by my niece who had already used the company twice already for installing her solar. We went with their cheapest option which I was a little sceptical as to how good a cheaper system would be. Circuit Alert assured me that they have installed plenty of the cheaper systems and that they all come with very similar warranties. We have not looked back. The installers arrived on time , kept us well informed .Walked us through the set up. The Solax system has not missed a beat. Lisa drops us a line now and then to check everything is as we would expect it to be.Inverter rating: 5/5

Painless experience from my first contact with the company to the final installation. The installers were punctual, efficient and left the area spotless. Loved that they setup the app on my phone as this would have been a challenge for me.13 June 2023

Some simple steps toward Green energy
Fair to say, sales and quoting was a good experience and the salesperson Chris was excellentInstallation went generally well, but some traffic damage to roof and damage to skylight dome. I am required to arrange the repair/replacement of the dome and present an invoice for reimbursement
The next steps toward grid connection was a matter of tracking down the info myself, somewhat of minefield for the those not skilled in this path. Still no clarity.
10 months later we asked Jon: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes finally it now performs and that is 11 Months after installation22 March 2023
They do what they say!
From the first phone call when speaking to Lisa, through the quoting process and then on to the installation it was a well oiled machine. They turned up when they said, did what they said and the system acheived what they said! I'm so relieved to no great service still exists!11 March 2023
Great company to deal with
We are very happy to have chosen Circuit Alert to do our solar install, from the initial contact with Lisa they were no pressure to “do it now” like other company and unlike other they came to our home to look and sit down and explain the whole process , all this without any commitment fromus at this stage. Once we gave them the “go ahead” it was a very smooth operation, the young men who came to do the install where great, friendly, polite and very efficient . Our system works as intended and so far no issue. Would recommend the team at Circuit Alert to anyone

Another job well done!
Another awesome job from Richard, Lisa and team.Very easy to deal with & once we accepted the quote it didn't take long to have our solar up and running.
Evan over Christmas holiday period Lisa was able to help us troubleshoot an issue with our hot water unit which was not related to the solar.

The best design for my specific roof, best advice and the best price
Douglas and his team have been very patient in answering all my questions, and really came up with the best design for my roof. Our roof is south facing, with significant shading, and they came up with realistic estimates of the production, and just the right amount of panels to provide maximum production while minimizing shading issues.Installation went smoothly. The installer was also the system designer and he was very nice and competent.
I am very likely going back to them for my upcoming battery install!

Highly recommend Circuit Alert Electrical and Solar.
Really happy to deal with a family operated business. Communication was always prompt and answered all my silly questions. The install team arrived on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up before they left.The office has been great with following up to make sure everything is going well and we are happy.

Terrific Company for Solar
These guys were brilliant… Lisa in the office took time to explain things, nothing was an effort to her. Cameron sent detailed quotes for different systems and was happy to explain pros and cons of the types and sizes of the systems available. Steve and Lachie were absolutely fantastic with the install… extremely nice guys, neat, tidy and knew their stuff! The whole process was seamless and I would highly recommend this team if you are wanting hassle free Solar installation with the peace of mind that they are there to support you if any questions or problems arise in the future. Great install completed on the day. Good handover for the system and the monitoring app
Appreciated the on-site visit and personal contact to understand our requirements, explain the panel and inverter options, identify the install location and explain the installation process.The install was completed on the agreed day by an experienced crew - the old system was removed cleanly. The monitoring system and the app were installed and commissioned before leaving site and all arrangements with the supplier managed by the supplier. The only minor issue was that some of the installation waste (cable ties, packers etc) didn't get removed.
And the system started generating as soon as it was switched on!

Impressive, helpful and understanding staff.
Sales & quoting was much more involved than I was expecting. Everyone provided me with multiple options and layouts which was great.Installation was efficient. It had to be over 2 days as the wind picked up but a mutually agreeable time was chosen later in the week. The installers were very polite, tidy and punctual, and happy to answer any questions.
Customer service was excellent, they sorted out all the paperwork with Energex, any issues I had and did a follow up.

Fantastic install
They were very quick with the Quote I was happy with, the install was fantastic punctual, Tidy and Polite.Very happy with the supply and install all happened within a day and all working, had to wait a couple of weeks for AGL to install a new meter, all up running now.

Simplified solar

Great Service
Patient and understanding during the enquiry process no question was a problem for them to give us their time to fully explain.Installation went very smoothly and they have had to return a couple of times as we are experiencing a slight problem connecting to the SolaX app. This is ongoing at the moment but it isn't compromising the working of the solar system itself, just waiting for some sunshine though to give us a good boost.

Fantastic experience from a great team at Circuit Alert.
Trying to find a local company who will actually turn up for a quote nearly made me give up on the search for solar, then I contacted Circuit Alert. They have restored my faith in tradies.From the initial ph call, Lisa and the team provided exactly what they said they would.
The installers texted to say they'd be there in 30 mins AND they were.
The panels and inverter were installed proficiently and without a trace of rubbish left behind. Thanks guys.
Everything was explained in easy to understand terms and I was told, any questions, just ring us.
I'm very happy with the job from start to finish, can't wait to start saving on my electricity bills.

Great local installer. Professional and efficient
Lisa and the whole Circuite Alert team were fantastic to work with. They took into account our unique needs and budget and came up with a package that ticked all the boxes. Best Solar Provider in Sunshine Coast
Organising solar panels for my home with Circuit Alert was the easiest and most pleasant experience. Their team are very professional but still have that small town touch of personality and warmth that made the entire process so much more comfortable. Lisa is a fantastic coordinator that is so easily accessible and endlessly helpful. Local installer, friendly, up to date with technology
Phil went with us Trough the design, type, quality and adapted his suggestion with our expectations. The job has been done neatly and they took their time to make sure everything is synchronised with each other. They worked 3 days in comparison to a neighbour’s house that had contractors coming from Newcastle to Central Coast installing a similar size system (14.8kW) in 6 hours. We will see how long that system will last. I am quite confident with our selection which is top of the range 38 x QCell 390W with optimisers and 2 x 5Kw SolarEdge inverters. Unfortunately we are single phased and could not go bigger. We are waiting for the time to get batteriesPanel rating: 5/5

It is rare that for me to post reviews, but in this instance, I feel I must. The experience I have had, from start to finish, with Circuit Alert, has been completely outstanding and well surpassed any expectations I previously held regarding the mediocrity and customer focussed service that can be lacking in our world. Circuit Alert has been a complete breath of fresh air, restoring my faith in always putting their customer first. Moreover, the expertise of the team is exemplary! I always felt in complete control over what product I should choose. The advice and guidance were clearly based on outstanding industry knowledge. The system I had installed is perfect for us and we are thrilled with the results we are achieving – why didn’t we do this years ago? The installation team was brilliant! Reliable, punctual, courteous, and completely professional. Perhaps the overriding factor for me is Circuit Alert’s proven commitment to looking after their customers post-sale and installation. This is quite remarkable. The care I continue to receive from Circuit Alert, even though my solar system is perfect, is outstanding. Friendly team, quick to install & easy to contact
Circuit Alert have been fantastic they are very friendly and well organised! We have had a great experience from first consultation with Chris to meeting Martin at the garden show to discuss our system to Lisa contacting us to walk us through the install to Richard and the team that came to install. I am delighted with our system installed we have been setup with the correct size system for our needs. Perfect seamless installation
Good afternoon,We had quotes from 3 different suppliers, but chose Circuit Alert as the much better option and price wise much better.
Sales person came out talked us through what would be the better option for our requirements, quotation was sent, we accepted. Customer service called to make and appointment for the installation and on the day of installation 3 gentlemen arrived on time, explained what they would be doing installing 26 x 390 watt panels. They gents were swift left absolutely no mess and were all extremely polite and courteous. Installation was done in 1 day and all went well.
Customer service organise for us to connection to the Grid through their connections, so absolutely no bother for us what so ever.
Fro the day of accepting the quotation we were kept informed all the day until completion as well as various follow up calls after the completion to ensure we were happy.
Their professionalism and customer service is beyond excellent.
Extremely happy clients here and could not recommend the enough for the brilliant service.

Going far and beyond
Martin, Richard, Lisa and the crew were absolutely exception in the entire process, price, customer service and going beyond what I expected. I had quote a number of solar business quote. All in the area are fantastic - however Circuit Alert stood out. The team were super friendly with a "anything is possible" attitude and they were willing to go all the way to help with my complex install. Nothing was too hard. I went to Lisa and Martin with an idea for power independence. Circuit Alert were fantastic. The system I hoped for works exactly as I'd hoped and I'm already looking to expand on the original installation. Thanks Circuit Alert.
