Can't recommend enough, thanks Brightworks!

We just had the solar panels and an EV charger installed by Brightworks. The chief electrician, Anthony, and his wife Alexandra are the best and nicest people to deal with. Even though we did get a cheaper quote from another installer, I’ve had absolutely no regret going with Brightworks due to their superb customer service and professional workmanship.
When Anthony came to inspect the site (noting that not all installers will bother to check the site before they give you a quote) he was so patient in the way he explained how the different components would work together and what our options were based on the house layout and our expectations. Alexandra was reliably responsive to all my questions and requests for different quotes. On the day of the installation, the team that came to our house (headed by Anthony himself) were courteous, quiet and wasted no time to have the entire system installed before mid afternoon, and left no mess for me to clean up whatsoever. I can’t say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We landed on Brightworks because of their thorough quoting process undertaken by Anthony. We were impressed with their business model compared to several others who quoted for our work. Excellent experience from a professional company

Alex & Anthony are extremely helpful & honest & they guided me to the best possible solar solution for my needs. After showing me several excellent options I decided to go with the 9.6 kWh Jinko all black solar panels coupled with an 8kw Sigenergy inverter, battery & gateway. The installation was absolutely top shelf & Anthony spent time showing me exactly how the system works, setup the MySigen app for me & showed me how to use it. Would happily recommend them to my friends & family. Looking at getting them back again once I buy an EV so they can setup a bi-directional DC charger to take full advantage of V2G technology.

Awesome service, follow up and quality workmanship

5 stars for Brightworks Solar run by husband and wife team Anthony & Alex. If looking for solar, or a solar & battery system, you should speak to the Brightworks team. Awesome service/follow up, great pricing & quality workmanship.

After being lucky enough to have received 66 cents per kW with our old system & basically never having to pay an electricity bill; that ride all finished in November with the program coming to an end. With the unhappy prospect of having to pay for power again, I started looking at new solar & battery systems.

After speaking & getting quotes on different system types from a number of installers I settled on Brightworks. Mainly due to Alex’s great customer service.

As a result the Brightworks team have just replaced my 15 year old 4kW system with 5kW inverter, to a brand new system consisting of 24 x Jinko Tiger Neo 440w panels (10.56kW), a brand new to Australia Tesla Powerwall 3 with 13.5kWh of battery and a Tesla Backup Gateway 2. The Tesla Powerwall 3 is so new to Australia, that I think it was Brightwork’s first install.

Solar system is great, however we have one problem which is nothing to do with the system itself, but with the power authority. For all new installs the power authority restricts the amount of power that you can export to the grid to a maximum of 1kW. Once they’re happy with the systems operations, they’ll lift the export capacity to 5kW’s. No longer will we receive the 66 cents for exported power that we used to get, but will now get 6 cents, guess that’s better than nothing. With such low payments for exported power, its all now about power stored (the battery).

The Tesla app is awesome, you can see exactly how much power the solar system is generating, battery level & charging status, how much power is being exported to the grid & how much power is being used by the house. There’s also many app configuration options to control how your system works.

We’re now addicted to only trying use power from our solar & battery system & trying to not to use any authority power and aiming for a $0 power usage bill.

reliable and professional

We had a great experience with Brightworks. Anthony upgraded our switchboard, all of our GPOs and installed a hot water heater pump. The whole process was super straightforward and it was refreshing to work with a reliable professional. Alex was also fantastic in coordinating everything and putting the customer first. We look forward to having them back to set us up with solar panels in the future.

Good old fashioned service

What a truly professional and dedicated team Anthony and Alexandra are.
Right from day one they were on. Alexandra’s extra efforts do not go unnoticed. And Anthony quoted the job in person, making sure we understood everything.

Great installer

It was our first time looking into solar and batteries. We ended with Anthony (and 4-5 person team) because he was the only installer who took the time to come and inspect our metal roof and to discuss the best spots for the battery. We lost faith in the other suppliers because we feel they arbitrarily provided quotes without onsite inspection - and we also suspected they'll sub the work to other contractors.

As a bonus, Anthony even managed to tunnel the cables behind our brick wall as opposed to, via easiest route, run unsightly exterior down pipe-like cables around the façade of the house.

Brilliant Experience with Brightworks Solar – Would Choose Them Again!

We decided to upgrade our solar system - add more panels, a battery and car charger. We had a fantastic experience with Brightworks Solar and couldn’t be happier with our decision!

From the very first enquiry, their sales and quoting process was excellent—super responsive, knowledgeable, and clear in their communication. They took the time to explore our needs and made thoughtful suggestions to ensure we got the best system for our home. Everything was explained clearly, making the process smooth and stress-free.
The installation team was just as impressive—punctual, polite, and incredibly hardworking. They got everything set up efficiently, and their attention to detail was top-notch.

Customer service has been amazing throughout. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and they took care of all the post-installation documentation seamlessly. We did run into a small issue with the app, but this was followed up with Sigenergy straight away, and it was resolved in no time.

They were an absolute pleasure to deal with—friendly, enthusiastic, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Miles ahead of the rest

Interacting with Alex and Anthony from the first call was so easy, they are so genuine and know solar inside and out. The team on install day was thorough and did a beautiful job installing our system, it looks great. Alex's customer service is out of this world and she made things so easy for us, they took care of everything. Anthony was a great support after install learning how to read the numbers on our monitoring app. We installed with them last year and it has cut our bills so much that I am actually surprised. Brightworks was a pleasure to work with

We had the pleasure of having Alexandra and Anthony completing our recent solar and hot water heat pump install.

Alexandra's communication was 2nd to none throughout the entirety of the process and was always flexible to accommodate all of our requests and considerations. Anthony was the only quote we had who took the time to get on the roof and assess our heavily shaded rooftop and accommodate accordingly.

Anthony and his installation team were timely, professional and very respectful during their time on our property. They took time and care at all stages and ensured everything was explained clearly and concisely.

Not just a sales company, Brightworks are real tradesman. Very impressed!

Had the boys from Brightworks out to do my solar and I couldn’t be happier. They made the whole process easy, no BS. Solid crew who know their stuff, they rocked up on time and got straight into it, finished off the install with no stress. Anthony ran me through the system app after and made sure I knew how to read all the numbers properly. The panels and inverter are top quality and look great on the house. Knowledgeable, Efficient, On Time Installation Company

Quotation: Anthony came and inspected the roof by actually climbing on it. Quote was then prepared and the 11.44Kw system being accepted. Siting on both the west and north facing rooves and taking into account the potential shadowing by a chimney were deciding factors. Other companies just looked from the ground but the fact that a proper assessment was important.
Installation - Solar Panels: The team arrived 7.30am with all necessary equipment. Installation was done without fuss with the physical work being done separately to the preparation for electrical connection such as control box and links to existing power box. Of note was the cleanliness at all times and neat conduit placement.

Installation-EV Charger: The Zappi EV Charger was selected from a choice provided by Brightworks. A 2 week lead time was provided to enable a cable trench to be dug. The team arrived on time and, rather than taking an easy unsightly route for the cable, a more time consuming installation hiding most of the conduit was used. Again, cleanup was excellent.

Followup: In both cases Alex called within 24 hours to check our satisfaction with both the installation and tidiness. We could not have asked for a better provider!

Helpful team committed to customer happiness!

I recently had Brightworks Solar install a solar system at my home. Alex and Anthony were a pleasure to work with as they patiently worked through designing my system to give me the best possible outcome whilst working around the existing pool heating and aesthetic requirements of the system. Anthony was always happy to drop in to re visit my roof while I changed my mind about where the panels would go and how big the system would be. Alex was very helpful with getting quotes from other trades they know well, such as landscaping and pool heat pump etc. The system was up and running on the afternoon of the install and I am very happy with the massive reduction to our power consumption.

Fantastic from start to finish

From the very start of the process Brightworks have done a great job, the only company that came out to do a site inspection before providing a quote. I've had other companies provide a quote without an inspecting only to turn up and tell me they couldn't do the job that was quoted. Anthony is a calm, respectful and efficient professional. He had a good team who all knew what they were doing. No radios or rough talk. They were punctual, quiet, calm, polite and tidy.

The communication was consistently excellent which was very important to us because it was our introduction to solar.

Alexandra in the office provided a lot of excellent assistance to us and managed the communication with the power company for grid connection and with other organisations. Great experience with Brightworks Solar

I had a super experience with this company. They installed my solar panels and then a few months later the heat pump. The operator is Anthony and he knows his stuff and you can feel confident about what he is doing. And he is well backed up by Alexandra who simply wants to make sure the customer is happy. They were both terrific in how they helped as well as being nice people.

I had a problem on a Sunday after the heat pump was installed because of existing building works at my home. Anthony was at my home that morning, fixed it and was not fussed about having to make the effort on his day off.
First class customer treatment. Could not have asked for better treatment from them. Highly endorsed.

Brightworks was great!

I found Brightworks Solar through Solar Quotes and was very happy with the service I received from both Anthony and Alexandra.

I sought out several companies going through the tender process for solar for my home and Brightworks Solar was the only company that came out to do a sight inspection which gave me a lot of confidence rather than having people just do a Google maps inspection over the phone. Anthony was very patient and professional, including the workers he had on site and even made a follow up visit on a Saturday when I was having some internet issues with connecting to the inverter.

Alex has very responsive to messages and emails and the paperwork process from start to finish was seamless and easy to do and everything was laid out properly. Brightworks is a newer company and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Reliable, Professional and Personable

Pre-sales support was super with a number of options clearly costed and explained. Our needs were understood and addressed.

Installation was completed in a professional way, all ontime, all tidy.

Post installation they arranged almost instant grid connection and final inspections. They conducted a further post install inspection around 4 weeks after commissioning just to make sure all was well and that we were happy with the overall solar implementation.

Brightworks sets the standard

Installing a solar system including a heat pump is a big undertaking, exciting yet challenging, especially in finding an installer in which one has faith and trusts to do an excellent job, which provides value for money and with whom you can discuss, ask questions and have surety that you are getting the right, informed answers. After seeking 3 quotes via SolarQuotes we were fortunate indeed to find Brightworks who provided all that and more.

From first contact our experience with Brightworks was simply fantastic! We knew that we had found the installer we required. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, as we have done with friends and family. We are so very pleased with our solar system

First contact through Alexandra set the standard for what was to follow. Friendly, exceedingly helpful, refreshingly open and delightful to deal with, Alexandra always listened, thoughtfully responded to questions, and, when we decided to install a battery well into the planning process was unfazed, and nothing but supportive and quickly set the new process in motion. She responded the next day with information about the recommended battery and system components explaining why a Sungrow battery, the number of solar panels etc and with a new quote. No excessive wait time, and as always with Alexandra, the information was delivered clearly and concisely, and questions responded to respectfully and knowledgeably.

Anthony's visit to quote was timely and he was the only installer who got on the roof to see what was actually the art of the possible, and inspected the switchboard & the heat pump situation. The manner in which he answered questions and provided information, instilled confidence, especially when after getting down off the roof he was asked another question about panels, and up he went again so that his answer was real and informed. Following Anthony's visit we knew that our quote would truly be based on the facts of our situation, not an online photo. Anthony's visit and Alexandra's phone calls and emails, ensured that when installation day arrived, we knew exactly what our system would be, how it would work and how we would monitor it.

The outstanding installation team, led by Anthony, along with plumber Adrian, were a pleasure to have on our property. It was good to see the team work so well together, using all the time to work on the installation and ensuring that our property was tidy and clean before they left.

Technical experts and great customer service

Alexandra and Anthony were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process.
