Not happy
I had the rep come out I told him I was looking at a 10 as I did not want any more bills he advised me that I only needed a 6.9 and should not get any bills if so only very little. He showed me on paper what system would make each month so I too his word and went with his advice. Well 12 months later I am still getting bills and the system has never ever made what he quoted me on paper after making several complaints to the owner stating I did not get what the rep promised he said he would sell me another system to add to existing one at cost price as you would expect I’m not at all happy with that and can’t afford another system. Quote you a price and what it will make and if it does not make what was quoted they will pay the difference. I have given them numerous chances to rectify this problem now he won’t even get back to me so I am seeking legal action as I paid a lot of money and was guaranteed i would have no or very little bill this is certainly not the case very unhappy customerInverter rating: 1/5

Informative, value & tailored to our needs
Danny & his team were professional from the very start of the process ... from the very first phone call, through the research & design phase, quoting, and through to installation. Our solar system was designed to suit our specific household needs, and we felt confident with the advice provided to us. The quote met our budget and the installation was seamless. Danny, Aaron & Nathan were friendly & accommodating - I would not hesitate to recommend them to family & friends.14 September 2020
Simple process
Recently had my solar system upgraded. Process was easy. Danny gave good advice and a competitive price. Installers completed the installation in one day and were very efficient. They consulted along the way and left the property clean and tidy afterwards.12 August 2020
Great install experience & saving money already!
Sales and quoting process was smooth and easy to understand. Installation was great - really professional, switchboard upgrade was done well. Handover of the system was perfect, knew what to expect after and help setting up my app to be able to monitor the performance. Professional install with great customer service
Seraphim 330W panels x20SolarEdge HD inverter
Referral install. Great to deal with. Danny the owner and Aaron the installer were great. Answered every question asked and even did a site visit prior to signing anything due to limited roof space. Grid connection was organized by Big Sky Energy but a follow up to electricity provider is a must to expedite process. Only thing I would have liked was for installer to show me the actual panel was the one I paid for prior to putting on roof. Although this was reflected in the Solaredge monitoring app and paperwork given after install.

Professional and efficient install.

Excellent company to deal with
Very straight forward and when I had questions I was able to contact the company and get answers immediatelyThe guys who did the installation were professional and knew their job. Punctual , polite professional. Yes customer service organised the grid connection and were once again very professional.
8 months later we asked Michele: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes and I am very happy with the savings I am seeing on my power bill.03 June 2020
A+ for service
Dealing with Big Sky Energy was a pleasure from the beginning when Danny came out to discuss my needs to the final installation completed by respectful servicemen who even cleaned up after themselves. In between, Natasha in their office kept me informed of the process with regular email and phone updates. Big Sky Energy took care of everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering having solar installed.02 June 2020
Professional and no fuss

System is good but no handover
The sales and quoting was good.The installation was good except for all the broken tiles left on the lawn.
I had no handover or thorough instruction on the system and to date don’t know what the data on the app means. The installer was going to come back and show me but didn’t turn up.

No One Better!
So very happy with the process from start to finish. Loving keeping an eye on my solar production with the iSolarCloud app - with these long sunny Queensland days hitting a consistently maximum production of 5kw. Can't wait for my first "bill" from Origin to see what kind of credit I will be getting :)Panel rating: 5/5

Worst Install ever
Sorry , But my Experience with Big Sky Energy was absolutely dreadful,Not only was the Install botched with problems but there was practically NO communication between me and the Installer, I would never recommend this company to my Worst enemy and was extremely glad to see their back .Panel rating: 4/5

Great job and service
Great work from this team, i purchased Fronius Inverter and 6.6 Kw of Jenko optimised panels and wow so good and the live monitoring is fantastic.I highly recommed these guys.

These guys are the best.. Danny and his team outshone every other solar company I dealt with.. So professional and willing to answer any questions I had..
I'm in townsville and the installers up here are Andrew and John, they were brilliant.. Clean up after they finished and left the place spotless..
I can't speak highly enough of big sky, already got my neighbour and couple friends hooked up and happy to recommend them to anyone..

We recently had a 6.5 kw solar power system installed by Big Sky Energy. We had four quotes and carefully sized up the information we received.
We went with Big Sky Energy because the consultant’s knowledge was excellent. He explained the ins and outs of the system which left us feeling confident.
Price was under the other companies we spoke to, while the panel manufacturer was one we’d heard of. There was no pressure to sign with them which we liked.
The Installation team was in at 8.00am and we wouldn’t have known they were there. I asked the boss if he could put in a power point in the box expecting to pay a wee bit extra. He didn’t charge us at all which was terrific (us being Scottish!).
We would strongly recommend Big Sky Energy as the lack of fuss and complete professionalism were great.
Incidentally, our power bill has gone down from $840 to $220.

These guys from Big Sky are a charm to deal with! Very professional and knowledgeable with their products. The Sales and Installation team were also great to work with, and their after sales support is amazing. I have recommended Big Sky to a few of my friends who have also signed-up with Big Sky, so I wont hesitate to recommend them again to anyone.

Tremendous after sales service, second to none.
Eager to assist and very co-operative resulting in a very successful professional installation.
Highly recommended is an understatement, if star rating applied truly a 10 out of 10.
Recommendation to install battery system in conjunction with solar installation was excellent advice.
These days good customer and after sales service is sadly lacking,

It was a no brainer for us as Big Sky Energy has practically installed half the houses on the street! Danny’s reputation and knowledge gave us confidence in the equipment and this was backed up by the workmanship of the installation team. The end result is a top quality setup, a great panel layout, and my electricity bill in credit!

From the get go Danny Karlsson and the Big Sky team were informative, focussed and worked extremely hard to deliver the best solar solution for our family of 5. Danny is super knowledgeable and professional and clearly has many years of experience. He went over and above (even in crazy weather) to deliver on time, and spent the time with us going over the details, our energy bills are now a fraction of what they were. We wish we had spoken to Big Sky sooner. A complete picture of what Big Sky Energy was to offer left nothing to the imagination and the final results are very pleasing.
During the installation Danny and team were very organised, well mannered, and the work site was cleaner after they finished than before, which is a reflection on their work performance.

Danny and the Big Sky Energy team have provided a first class experience. From the warm and friendly service through to detailed drawings, information and timeframes. The equipment is top shelf and yet the price is extremely competitive. They say what they are going to deliver and deliver what they say. If you don't buy solar from Big Sky Energy then you are making the wrong decision.

Sales pitch was good. Handed over to Natasha, as soon as finance approved and date organised, didnt really hear from her again.
Installation was quick. However, they wanted to know where to put the inverter, we asked them whatever is the best place. All they said was is cant be near the Meter box.
I was told initially that our systems will be installed by Big Sky, but found out it was installed by another installation company.
The process after installation was just "Sign here" and that was it. A booklet and serial stickers were left in meter box. The Booklet was for the Fronius system that was not in English.
We werent told to wait for Energex and retailer to let us know when its ready to go. We had to look online for the English version of the manual to figure out how to connect to Fronius system using Wifi. I called Big Sky and assume that I spoke to the owner who had no idea what to tell me over the phone. He said he will call back, but never did. Eventually I figured out how to use the System. About a month later I was emailed a 'Customer Pack' which consisted of a partial picture of the Electrical Contractors details (Thanks Freedom Electrical and Energy Solutions for installing our Solar). Also consisted pictures of the Solar Specs, some Warranty information. Very poor on Big Sky's part in regards to looking after Customers. As I said, very nice at the start but given the cold shoulder as soon as payment installation date organised

They knew their stuff.I was told that the fronius inverter was battery ready when in fact it was only ready for two batteries... Not really flexible enough for me which these sales persons all pushed and didnt mention. ..
Additiionally the panel layout was superior...
And Danny knew really well what he was talking about.
8 months later we asked This person: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
yes, the only thing is that my inverter is a 5kw system, but it seems to be limited to 4.5kw.not sure why, I'd like this improved, as I believe its limiting my power generation

Highly recommend big sky energy
The sales and quotes process was great they asked all the right questions to deliver us the best system our home needed. The install was very neat and tidy, they went above any beyond to get our system installed in the duration they were in our area. And the guys were great to talk to and weren’t bothered answering questions about the process. Costomer service has been fantastic from start to finish it’s nice to actually talk to the owner of the company instead of a sales person they organised everything very quickly and hassle free. We highly recommend Big Sky EnergyPanel rating: 4/5
