Recommend Beyond Solar

Beyond Solar has been great with their service especially tailoring to my needs and budget wise. Do like to thank Arham Ahmed who I have been in touch with.
On the day of the installation it was a smooth and no issues came across from the installers side. Was then shown how the Inverter works and what has been installed. Sam explained everything clearly. Once again thank you again.

Good Price - Fantastic Service

The process with Beyond Solar was very smooth. The price was very competitive for a 10.5kW system, so it was a no brainer to go with them. The system was installed in 2 weeks time once I moved in to my place. I highly recommend Beyond Solar!

Excellent Service All Round

Sales team were very professional and efficient. The representative was helpful in assisting to determine what size system we were after and could be catered for on our roof and within our budget. Received both quotes for different system sizes within 2 hours of discussing with the representative what we were after.

Installation was smooth, the team came out to measure and set up the night prior. During the installation day the team made sure to keep me in the loop with what they were doing such as having to shut the power off for a short period of time. Very polite and tidy - left the area the same as before they came to install.

Customer service was very good. The team made sure to connect me to the app and show me how to use it prior to finishing the job. Got a call post installation to ensure I was happy with the whole process.

Helpful Customer Service

Over all good job, despite some minor inconveniences. There was some issues with wifi connection that could have been easily sorted if the installer explain the process thoroughly in the first place. However the resolution was quite easy and timely with chatting with customer service. The only downside of the customer service is they can be hard to reach as they are always busy and call almost always through to "voicemail". If they tighten those ups, I reckon they'll easily earn 5 stars consistently.

Beyond Solar is worth considering if you are in Sydney

Our system has only been active for 2 days, so the following is our experience up to now

Upfront sales team was helpful, though did not follow through with all that we discussed. The idea was to quote on the inclusion of a battery solution with the option to delay the battery purchase and install. I.e. lock in a battery price now. I'm sure the Beyond team can still assist if I request, I'm relaxed with this oversight and battery prices at present and maybe into the future may not be viable for our home.

The team at Beyond are extremely responsive to questions pre purchase, during installation scheduling, during installation and after installation.

Installation was smooth with the installation team turning up on time, taking care to limit broken tiles and clean up at completion. Most of the tiles the team replaced were broken prior to installation and in areas on the roof the team was not even working on, so I cannot thank them enough for taking the time and care whilst up on the second floor of the house to replace these.

There are a few items during installation that need to be need to be brought up with the Beyond team, the most important is sarking penetrations. The team left a large sarking penetration open that they used to draw and feed cables down to the meter box. Whilst opening the sarking is not ideal it sometimes cannot be avoided. It should however be repaired as this component is an essential safety guard for catching water that leaks through the tiled roof.

Commissioning of the system was delayed, I have not caught up with the team as to what the primary issue was. Our system is an Enphase micro-inverter solution and it may have encountered the dreaded inverter communication line noise issue, ref: https://support.enphase.com/s/article/How-does-noise-affect-power-line-communications.

Now that the system is commissioned , accessing the the Enphase monitoring service is quick and efficient after the receipt of an activation e-mail from Enphase. By the end of the morning I had accessed the monitoring interface, entered billing information and now need to be patient for the data set to grow before making too many adjustments to load

Beyond also install a WallBox EV charger. The team were more than happy to Accommodate installing the charger in a location some distance from the meter box with little evidence of external conduits visible. Beyond's sparky's are professional and clean.

SolarQuotes has played an integral role in understanding solar, some of the pitfalls to be careful of, I think I broke all 10 of them ;), and ultimately organising quotes. The SolarQuotes site is a wealth of knowledge for somebody starting out on the solar journey

Very happy with Beyond Solar for my home PV install

Everything was a great experience. Saad was super efficient in quoting and very patient with my many questions. MK provided terrific communication and updates on the preperation for the installation was flexible with dates. Adam and his team were excellent with their installation, we went through all of the options first and he provided reqular updates through the day on progress. Adam was very clean and precise with this electrical work, took the time to do the job correctly and left everything tidy when done. Overall great customer service.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish and Beyond

I’ve had the pleasure of using Beyond Solar for both solar panel installation and now, battery installation, and I couldn’t be happier with their service.

From the beginning, their customer service has been outstanding. They’re easy to contact, quick to respond, and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. Their after-sales support is just as impressive, ensuring you feel supported long after the initial installation is complete.

What stood out the most during the installation was the quality of their work. They hid all the cables behind the wall at no extra cost, leaving a clean and professional finish. Now with the battery installation, they’re even setting up the backup system free of charge.

My power bill has dropped significantly. I wish I had made the switch sooner, but I'm very glad I chose Beyond Solar.

I am extremely satisfied with the service and pricing from Beyond Solar. I would like to especially commend installer ZiCheng and his colleague for their outstanding work. ZiCheng took the time to thoroughly explain the installation process and the functionality of the solar system, ensuring that I fully understood everything. Their professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional.

A special thank you also goes to Muhieddine, who provided comprehensive explanations during my inquiry about purchasing solar panels. He went above and beyond, dedicating ample time to educate both my wife and me on the best options for our needs. His thoroughness and commitment to helping us make informed decisions were greatly appreciated.

Knowledgable, professional, timely, well priced and helpful!

Beyond Solar were open to discussing options and working to get the best result for us. Others seemed more intent on providing a 'package'. Saad, our Beyond Solar sales consultant patiently worked through many questions and unpacked the data that all solar providers use to make a system look viable or attractive. Saad provided honest and knowledgeable explanations which allowed us to make clearer comparisons. He modelled different battery/non-battery scenarios for us. This was invaluable in helping us make decisions for the system we purchased.

Communications with the Beyond Solar team were seamless and installation scheduling was prompt. I am impressed with how the install team, led by Huss, turned up on the scheduled day and installed the system with no fuss. The team was courteous, tidy, and efficient....they have done this before!! The installation finished with an informative explanation of the system and the Sungrow solar monitoring app.

Our new system has been performing beyond expectations so far - thank you Beyond Solar!

Gold Star Installer does it again

I obtained 3 quotes from your list of preferred installers and 2 more not on your list. The 2 not on your list had the highest cost quoted while the silver and gold installers had the lowest quotes. It seemed to me that there is an inverse relationship between quoted price and quality of installation. The higher on your list the more affordable the quote!
The installation was done in one day and the system is currently working fine. The site was left very clean and tidy and there was no damage to the roof.
They helped me order the smart switch from my energy retailer and the company organised the registration with AusGrid.
I am no eagerly waiting for the battery installation.

Batteries for existing 12.34kw Solar system

After some time clarifying the exact needs, this provider came out on top for adding batteries to our existing system (Beyond solar also previously extended our solar) . They recommended leaving the existing inverter in place (as it was a good quality one) and we wanted a 3 phase inverter for the batteries to match our 3 phase house.

Good price and smooth install

I chose Beyond Solar based on the 3 quotes through Solar Quotes. The team at Beyond Solar were friendly and responsive and provided the best value for money for a Tier 1 solution.

They arrived on time as arranged and installed, were friendly and efficient and got everything done in a day on my double storey townhouse. They ran me through the installation, ensured that I could connect to the system to monitor it and took all the rubbish with them - couldn’t even tell they’d been here after they left.

6 months in everything is working as designed. Very happy with the service.

Very professional and great customer service

I was recommended Beyond Solar and I am pleased I was. After receiving 4 quotes they were not the cheapest or the most expensive. I chose them due to the recommendation and they proved very reliable in all their communications and acted the most professional. Their follow up systems and comms work well without being a them becoming a pest with spam calls.

Knowledgable Salesperson and Installer

Saad has to be the most knowledgeable solar sales person I spoke to out of 7 companies which I spoke to, this really made me feel confident with my purchase. Even went as far as answering my questions out of office hours.

Huss lead the installation team, discussed the best positioning on the day and even got the battery base out to show me how it would fit in his recommended position. Although the day was super windy, the install is super tidy and the crew cleaned up all their mess even going as far as sweeping out my garage from leaves that had blown in throughout the day. Huss went over how the whole system works and even walked me through the app before he went. The small issue I have with the install is where the conduit comes through the edging on the ceiling, although I'm not making down points as this is 100% fixable, Other then that the work in the roof, on the roof, in the switchboard and on the wall is amazing.

It's only been a day since the install but just looking at the results for today I am amazed, my battery was full before 10:30am and has covered the cost of running 3 split systems and still been making more then enough electricity.

Fantastic, pain free installation

We had previous quotes last year and the salespeople just confused us and then left us with a hefty price tag. We didn’t go forward.

Efficient, easy to deal with, and a great result!

Sales and quoting was straightforward. Our system requirements and installation is fairly simple so no onsite visit was required.

The installers were punctual, Adam was very friendly and provided all the information we were after - throughout both the installation process and how to operate the system. They were clean and tidy, treating our place like they would their own.

Above and beyond expectations and such a simple process

I have used Beyond Solar 4 times now, three time for myself (Home, business and Investment Property) and each time Pawan has excelled in service and price. Pawan / Beyond have configured the panes to maximise our production and return of investment.
Site teams are friendly and efficient and after they have finished, they clean up and ensure the system is ready for our energy provider.
After sales i cannot comment on as none of the systems have had any issues in the 2 - 5 yrs since installation

Good install

The quoting process was all done remotely, they wouldn't come out to the site until installation and any adjustments needed would be assessed then (possibly at my cost)
The installers were punctual and very polite, explaining all that they were doing and working out final placement for battery and inverter. They tidied up at each stage leaving very little behind. They only cracked one roof tile.
I don't know if they were meant to organise the network to reconfigure the smart meter for FIT but that didn't happen until after our electricity retailer notified them.

Punctual installer and neat implementation

Sales/quoting was comprehensive. They were happy to make multiple quotes, modifying to suit my requirements.
Installers were polite and punctual.

They didn’t organise the grid connection afterwards but I knew that this was the case from the beginning. Beyond Solar explained they didn’t have the relationship with my retailer (Energy Australia) to do this.

I read their web site to learn they adhere to all the safety standards. Cabling in the roof is labelled appropriately, for example. The installers didn’t wear or fit safety measures against falls off the roof, however. That was my biggest surprise.

My quote was not done on-site. In hindsight, I would insist on this as the panels wouldn’t fit as designed so the installers discussed alternatives with me and found an alternate, perfectly acceptable way to install the panels. Original ratings

Fantastic people

Everyone was easy for me from start to finish. I’m an aged pensioner and not very computer savvy and the salesman helped me all the way, he had so much patience.
Four men came from Sydney to the Riverina to install and I couldn’t have asked for better people, polite punctual and friendly, one even put the app on my phone.
I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Good installation in all respects

Despite pre-installation communications only being by phone Saad from Beyond Solar created a better configured, better capacity design than other on site and on-line providers from which I received quotes from. Installation team excellent (Adam talked through all on-day aspects and fixed a minor issue with my mains board for no labour cost), post installation responsive and organised all paperwork to update with electricity supplier. System works well and is delivering a little in excess of quoted Kwh.

SW Sydney - 2 systems from Beyond Solar

I have used Beyond Solar twice now in three years. The first solar system they designed for me paid itself off well in advance of their estimates. The inverter broke and they were seamless in organising and installing a replacement. I was so impressed I came back for a second system.

Saad is my sales guy and he was honest, open and very informative.

MK and the tech support team are amazing. Real stars of the after sales support.

Excellent after installation service

Aftercare support was excellent. Post some work by an electrician there was an issue with the inverter not being connected to the main switchboard correctly. I rang up the Beyond Solar for their assistance and MK their Technical Manager explained the issue to me and also directed the electrician to fault fix. Post issue resolution, he ensured the tests were down remotely to ensure there are no further faults.
Would highly recommend Beyond Solar for their professionalism and attention to detail. Thanks MK for your support.

I went with Beyond Solar after they were recommended by Solar Quotes and a colleague who had used them. Sales quoting process was easy to understand and responsive to questions. Install involved some of the hardest workers I've met, punctual and got the full 13.2kw system installed in a day.

Over the phone quote, regular reminders came across as a bit of a hard sell, nearly went with another installer if it escalated.
